I have been following D3 since November'11. I tried to resist watching the show because my thing for balloons-in-the-air and i-fall-you-catch was completely over. As it so happens, SwaRon were not your mainstream balloons-in-the-air and i-catch-you-fall. They were rather an irresistible blend of ideals and reality, Swayum being the most idealistic character ever and Sharon being the realest of all. The crying they did post Shivam's party in the timeless episode of 3 January 2012 clearly explained that they aren't a couple of hormonal kids crushing on each other. The girl had to be a righteous angel to be Swayum's girl but but he simply always loved the most vehement and acerbic bitch ever, Sharon. THAT'S the people you got to confess their love to each other no more than a month ago.

I really feel that only the storyteller gets to decide what to do with the story, that is why I wouldn't be found doing 'screw you CVs' ever in this forum. But I feel that my writing this might not be uncalled for, seeing as the storytellers have failed to stick to whom their original story is about.

Swayum is not a five year old baby who is hyperactive about receiving a new toy. Sharon is not a nanny whose job is to keep tabs on her subject kid's hour-to-hour schedule. Swayum, as I know him is a boy who has always loved and is being loved back for the first time. Sharon, as I know her is a girl who has for the first time given her conscience the liberty to do its own thing. I feel sorry to say that my description is far from matching a single characteristic feature Swayum and Sharon display these days. I am not demanding a new track to be introduced in my honor, I am just asking for the characters who are the sole reason why I watch the show, whom I am still hoping to see back in the show, somehow.

I'l tell u what i think went wrong with Swaron..

When D3 began they werent supposed to be leads.. but the way the story progressed ppl startd relating to the characters.. There initial characterisation was very powerful.. thats y we swaron fans who have followed them from the beginning have come to know their characters in and out. And this is something that the CVs had not called for.. so they carry on experimenting with their characters not knowing that we understand them at such a level that we know what they r capable of and wat they arent.

For instance Sharon is not the kind of person who wud protect taani. Taani was irresponsible and she quit the dance team without informing the members. The sharon i knew would have considered this behaviour unpardonable. We r aware of her passion for dance and the casual attitude which taani harbourd towards dance shud hv offended sharon n not hv her sympathise with her. And now coming to Swayam. His life revolved around Sharon when they werent together but right after they enter into a relationship he is shown as someone who dsnt know how to balance things. Cnsidering that he has waited for this moment all of his life in St. Louis, he shud be more attentive towards sharon! but no.. instead we see that its sharon who is doing the needful to keep misunderstandings at bay.. Now this dsnt fit!!

And now what i think is the most important point in ur post... the feel of swaron romance. I think the Cvs really need to mk up thr mind here. The cute and light-hearted aspect to swaron romance is logical only if we consider the fact that both of them r mere eighteen yr olds.. But my question is hv swaron ever acted thr age til now? They hv come across as way mr sensible, matured and intense than the teens of thr age. So y when it comes to being in a relationship they need to be excited love birds who r always on a high?? Swaron cannot be the usual butterflies-in-the-stomach kind of romance cos that does not do justice to their nature. The initial excitement shud hv worn off in the two to three episodes post confession but no.. they cntinue bein childlike n thr romance hs alrdy startd bordering on cheese. We need the intensity and and the very essence of swaron back. Swaron always meant substance bt now they r getting random. Its like watching two new characters.

We know that the show must be having multiple writers and mayb the swaron track is penned by different hands at different times but that is no reason why the tracks shud be contradictory to thr initial characterisation. The swaron we knew, understood and loved arent the same as the ones we see on the show today. So as many swaronians hv posted before me, i too request the cvs to tk D3 seriously and make the script thr 1st priority. They cant bank upon the initial popularity of the characters anymore. We all had our own reasons to fall in love with swaron and if those stop existing it will be difficult for us to stick with the show.

I hope that we get back the magic and the intensity that are synonymous with swaron.. and we get all of that back soon..

Ok, so SwaRon...I don't know what else I can add to this. Your topic says it all and the amazing comments justify it really well.

All I want to say is, if the CV's think that its possible to show intensity and passion only when SwaRon are angry or disturbed, then they couldn't be more wrong. Cute, romantic scenes can be made to look passionate too.

Take the swimming pool scene for example. Swayam pulls back a nervous Sharon towards him and she just doesn't seem to be able to object. She is so lost in his eyes. And Swayam's eyes there were brimming with the love he felt for her. A cute scene was made so intense there.

And the new year's episode, where Sharon has hurt her leg and Swayam carries her in his arms. They both hardly had any dialogues in this episode but so much was said in those brief moments where he carried her.

Or that scene from 21st november's episode where Nicole mam is making everyone dance together and Swayam n Sharon get carried away in the moment and do a nanosecond impromptu waltz. Their chemistry was so blatantly visible there.

Where has all this gone??

Where is the Swayam who used to go to such great lengths just to see a smile on her face or make her feel special? He still can pamper her with gifts, he still can write beautiful poems for her. But no. Now he is satisfied with passing chits to her, or teasing her on the phone, or just smiling at her whenever possible.

And Sharon seems to be trying really hard to make this relationship work (rather than Swayam) coz its her who always wants to sort out the MU's first. But I still fail to see the longing in her eyes that used to be so starkly visible before, every time she looked at Swayam.

Classroom showdown scene mein she was so lost in his eyes, his proximity to her laid such an effect on her that she readily gave in. I'm not expecting such a scene again but such intensity can surely be re-built.

I do wish to ask why SwaRon aren't allowed to hug now or even just hold hands, or go on a dinner date, or have a hearty talk about themselves in the abandoned corridor, or share a moment of privacy without being interrupted every single time??

There is so much that can be shown...like, talking about their families, about why Sharon always feared showing her soft side to others, about why Swayam always hid the fact that he was rich and was satisfied being called a weakling, like Swayam telling her what he felt when he saw her for the first time, about what Sharon felt after the trial relationship confession.

It would make for such a nice scene if they could just go on a long walk and talk about all this.

But, of course, we have to make do with phone convos where they're just pulling each other's legs.

Its my sincere request to the CV's to stop trying to make SwaRon look like some regular mushy, cheesy couple, jo aaj kal har ek serial mein dikhte hai, coz SwaRon are NOT that at all.

They are two people who can say SO much without even opening their mouths, only through their eyes and through their actions. They are two people who could re-define passion and set fire to the screen.

The depth of Swayam's feelings for Sharon is much more than just yapping on the phone or apologizing to her through lame songs played on his phone.

I don't see him doing anything substantial to 'make Sharon fall in love with him'.

I don't see the unspoken emotions flowing between them like it used to when they would just as much as glance towards each other.

Its clear that the CV's have taken SwaRon for granted now that they've become a couple. I'm sure they think we will all be satisfied with the cutesy moments shown in almost every episode these days, so that they can concentrate on establishing other unwanted characters.

What they're forgetting is that in order to throw more light on other characters in the show, they are ruining one of their own creations, a creation for which thousands of hearts are beating.

They are also wasting the potential of two amazing actors like Shantanu and Sneha. These two can do SO much more than just give smiles to each other. Surely, the CV's can't ignore this fact. Not after this long, not after SO many people appreciate their work everyday.

So its request to the CV's for the umpteenth time.

Please stop trying to ruin your own masterpiece.

If you are doing it for a reason then tell us what it is, and if you don't have a reason for it then heck, you must be out of your minds for building two such strong and lovable characters and shattering them with your own negligence.

Sad...damn sad... If I had known that SwaRon would be together some day in a way that wouldn't even make them seem like the old SwaRon, then I would never have wished for them to become an official couple at all.

We truly are a cursed lot.

And I agree with everyone on the fact that it seems like we're watching a Disney Channel romance rather than the most beautiful love story in the world.
