It took me tym 2 realise hw close we were sitting, lost in each odrs eyes!! Meers teasing look was well.. kinda expected.. bt wht was der in maan's eyes..? his eyes had a depth which cud engulf nybody, for a moment I thot dose chocolate brown eyes had anger.. or even pain?!!

Bt he almost instantly blinked as dev called for him to join us..

I wondered if I was imagining thngs or wht I saw was true!!

"so dd.." meer began.. "sorry I know only di can call u tht ryt? Kya chal raha tha yahan?"

"oh meer.. ab kya bataun.. I just got lost smwhr!!" dev added jokingly, as he winked at me causing me to blush!!

Bt it wasn't dev who held my thots. 'twas maan!! His gaze felt different, not uncomfortable.. just smthng I cudnt define!!

"umm.. bro cud I tk a few days off.. I thot I'd spend sm tym wid geet n show her arnd?"

"hmm.."

I wondered if he cud even put a sentence 2gthr.. he hadn't even spoken a word 2 me.. wonder hw he managed 2 handle all his business widout speaking!!

"oh mr dev u only wanna show arnd di.. wht abt me? Ya di k saamne koi dikhai hi nahi deta?"

"meer.." I scolded her b4 dev cud respond...

"oh chillax di.. I m nt gonna disturb u guys.. u carry on.. waise bhi maan veerji has promised me he'll help me wid evrythng?"

N meer gave him a smile n he smiled bk..!!!

Shock after shock!! Meer called maan veerji.. I mean meer nvr bothered wid relations.. she'd nvr tag ny of dem.. n here their bond seemed to shine thru.. nd more over, when did she n maan talk.. n if he talks to everybody has he singled me out for sm special silent treatment.. or was der smthng wrong wid me.. hey babaji.. or worse still was he angry I had hugged him? n still hadn't apologized?

My chain of thots wer broken wen we wer called for dinner.. which again was a fun affair for evy1 exc me as dev n meer teamed upto pull my leg.. umm.. I hate dem!!

The food was delicious Punjabi cuisine.. maa, dad thoroughly njoyd it.. I liked it too bt smthng seemed missing..

As desert was being served, I was happily surprised to c it was tiramisu!! my favorite..!! I smiled as I took my first bite.. it was perfectly delicious..

"daadi.. tiramisu.. Italian desert wid Indian main course. U must b really fond of Italian food?" meer inquired

"no not me.. bt wht to do whn bth my grandsons r fond of it.. n den tiramisu was a special request for tonight by one of dem. I cudnt deny it.!!"

I smiled happily.. so dev had started taking care of my likes n dislikes!! I cud feel a blush rush 2 my cheeks.. I wanted 2 say thanx bt nt wid evry1 arnd.. I looked at dev.. he raised his brows inquiring wht happened..

"so.. whose request was it?" meer continued
