Rajshree Ojha, the director of the Sonam Kapoor-Abhay Deol starrer Aisha and more recently Chaurahen in which Soha Ali played the protagonist, is now directing a short film to be produced by BBC. The lead role in the show which will be aired on Star Plus, will be played by Viraf Patel who became popular in Mahi Way and the female lead by Shilpa Anand of Dill Mill Gaye. Vijay Badlani, who is currently acting in Dheeraj Kumar's serial Tujh Sang Preet Lagai Sajana on Sahara One, has also bagged a role in the telefilm. "It's my first attempt at television and I thought that it would be a good experience while I wait for my big screen project to take off.
The 60-minute film is a romcom and I shall start shooting soon," said Ojha. The show will go on air by the end of July.

The list of the actors joining the Star Plus' upcoming telefilm series is growing day by day. After roping in some of the popular names like Karan Wahi, Jennifer Winget, Anita Hassanandani and Karan Singh Grover for its series, the latest addition to the show is Shilpa Anand, who is returning to television after a long hiatus.
Shilpa was last seen in Cinevistaas 'Dill Mill Gaye', which made a household name. Her pairing in the show is opposite Viraf Phiroz Patel, of Mahi Way fame. For Shilpa Anand it is a second innings on the small screen with this BBC Productions telefilm.
The production house is ensuring to garner maximum viewership with roping in all the popular stars of the television screen for its show. The concept of the telefilm is a love story, and the shooting for the same has already started.
The show will be eagerly awaited by the viewers.
