Agreeing with each and every word of yours. I don't understand why people expect to watch the individual journey of love of Mohan and Megha in the same way, whereas, their situations and the way of living is so damn different.

thanks Chutki🤗, I love you too! Well yeah, not only are the expectations as such, but the expectations that people have make me think that they only want to see the journey of love in exactly the way which other heroines are shown going through. Megha is a different character and the CVs have always kept her uniqueness intact this way. She has as yet, never conformed to the usual methods of heroine love, so that's what is chafing at people's expectations and their minds, making them restless.

When Megha stepped forward as Mohan's wife because she couldn't tolerate someone insulting him, she thought she was doing it for a friend. She enjoyed those days with him, in spite of getting worried about the consequences because subconsciously she started liking him (not love, of course), appreciating his principles and the way he is (during Rashmi track, Megha began to know Mohan more than before as Rashmi talked quite a lot about him in the supermarket). We know it because she herself confessed that he is a good and amazing human being.

True!

At the end, she made a fail attempt of uniting him with his ex because - she cared for him and his happiness & also cause the period of her denial of her newly evolved feelings was started without her realization.

Nice recap yaar, I am delighted to be reading this

Lots of occurrences took place later on and whatever Megha did (accepting that she trusted Mohan the most after Amar, breaking down on thinking that he betrayed her, running to stop him, secretly gazing him from behind the wall with a nervous look, thinking of him 24/7 even though she didn't want to, getting tensed for him, crying for him, missing him and most importantly going away from him for his better) was her journey during which her liking for Mohan turned LOVE.

In short, sab kuch toh pehele hi ho chuka tha, aaj bas ehsaas hua hai

Oh yaar, how beautifully summarized, I loved reading it, made me feel like I am watching it all again. You pointed out all the exact points @ bold above, which held significance in her journey.

Adding more... I never expected Megha's journey to be shown like Mohan and this is what happened. Her realization of love was COMPLETELY NATURAL. When the feeling of loosing Mohan struck her first time after the gunshot, she felt the difference in her and after the second time it happened, she understood the difference and accepted it with all her heart. 😍

Well said👏, good to see your words reflecting that you were with her every step of the way.

Aur kya bolu? Haan... I find Meghan's love journey very BEAUTIFUL and the MOST NATURAL, comparing to all other Telly love stories. They fell for each other in different good and bad situations and also by regular interactions. It's not that ki ek din hawaa chali, aakhe bandh kia aur ehsaas hua ki pyaar hai. 😆

HEhe, yeah, that's the thing that makes it so beautifully amazing to me too. It's a journey full of new discoveries for me too as a viewer, so novel in the way it has been depicted. All praise to the CVs for this

Also glad because you are of the same opinion as me but I would love to read your take on the confession scene yaar. It's been so long since I read your detailed analysis, was looking for it today but didn't find so made a thread myself. Looking forward to read your take, whenever you get time

Just wanted to share my views as well...
I agree that since Megha is a widow, she falling in love would be a more complex process since she had always considered Amar as her one and only love. She has other issues like her own insecurities, her children, family, etc. to deal with. I understand all this. Actually I was more interested in seeing Megha falling in love than seeing Mohan falling in love because of all these reasons.
But somewhere during the recent past, I just couldn't connect with Megha anymore. I became confused whether Megha had any feelings for Mohan or not. And only in yest epi, I suddenly come to know that all this while she has been in love with him!
I still feel that it would have been better if the CVs had been a bit clearer about portraying Megha's thoughts and feelings... probably a bit of a build-up of her feelings and thoughts in the form of monologues before showing yesterday's final self-confession.
PS: This was just my opinion and I agree that it could be that there might have been something wrong in my perception of the story...

U have captured every nuance of Megha's character and have left me speechless. I went through her pain and anguish all over again as I read word by word, line by line. I suddenly felt a lump in my throat and once again found myself teary eyed.

Our varied experiences in life makes each one of us see and interpret a situation differently. Hence we relate and react to them differently. Yesterday i for one was able to connect with megha's desire, pain, anguish and helplessness thru aakanksha;s performance.

Its really very unfortunate that as women we fail to understand and relate to Megha's character in totality.

No one can understand and empathise with Megha unless one chooses to put oneself in her shoes. Been there done that, hence was happy with the way Megha's character evolved in the last few days.

But I would again like to mention this very strongly that the medium of art is highly subjective. What appeals to one may fail to move the other and vice versa. But amidst all the differences whats common is our love for NBT which makes each one of us see n analyse things differently.

I am so overwhelmed Swati, Thanks so much yaar, It feels great knowing that you went through the same emotions which I did while putting my thoughts in order here, and I do go through this Pain on Megha's behalf each and every time she's shown on screen, facing this dilemma. Aakanksha has just so awesomely portrayed each and every bit of emotion that Megha goes through, it always leaves me speechless.

I agree totally with your last para Swati, It's all a case of different perceptions, but I also believe that perceptions can be changed or their vision widened if only we make an effort towards it, right naa?

Thanks once again Swati 🤗

Hey fari..a very good and deep insight to Megha's dilemma..and I love the way you said to understand Megha's situation and relate to her difficulties before giving harsh judgements..I seriously hope that was possible..to be true I agree with you completely and I have always got same feelings for Megha's..I have heard how difficult it is for people to get back to normal and get into relationships even after losing their first love as break-up..then in this case Megha's has lived her love for good amount of years..she has kids and a family too...she had got herself surrounded by confined walls where she thought no one could enter..but still Mohan came into her life and she unknowingly let go her shield..and eventually fell in love..it was all so subtle that she never realized what path she was walking on until she hit an obstacle..when the thought of losing Mohan scared her to death...she was probably all ready to move ahead of that obstacle and keep walking on that path where suddenly she hits a roadblock named indu...and then the society and her situation again grows over her feelings that she thinks she is not good enough for Mohan, for her he deserves lot more happiness which she cannot give him..so she decides to ignore him..she gets so harsh that Mohan finally walks away..she had her guards on till that time..but as soon as she gets what she wanted..she couldn't stay strong anymore and hence this confession...Megha's has always portrayed different shades of love for Mohan..in her care, confusion, eagerness, anger...I appreciate the way in which cv's hvdepicted her dilemma...they hv done a commendable job... p.S. sorry if the reply is long for you..I just felt Megha's,s character needs a lot more to be understood...

Hmm thanks for sharing your views.

Well, the CVs didn't show her monologues and all, I agree, but they did show her confusion, very well, I must say. That befuddlement, moodiness, extreme shows of temper, all were indications towards the very same, that is, her journey towards this love finally manifesting in the form of confession.
The frequency with which they showed her bewilderment, her numbness and her self-denial did depict her journey of falling in love.
As I said, she kept denying, refusing to confess her feelings to Mohan or to herself, because she didn't know how to label her feelings herself.
That was so visible in her dialogues

"Mujhey pata nahi woh merey liye kyun itna important hai lekin mujhey pata hai ke agar ussey kuch ho jata tou mai kabhi apney app ko maaf nahi karti" (sorry if the words are not in order but it was something to that effect)

and there were few others which I can't remember exactly, to the same effect as above.

Everytime Mohan asked her "kis HAQ se", she became quiet, why?
Becaue she knew deep inside that it is a liking but whether it is love or not, that's what bewildered her too because it didn't feel the same to her as her first love.
So to be fair to Mohan, in the long term, and due to her own fears, she didn't ever confess it out loud, neither to Mohan, nor to herself.
