Thanks, Amy...USA?...LadyM's favorite channel...she literally watches EVERY show that airs on that channel😆...I tried a few other ones from it before but could never stay interested...like White Collar, that other on on the CIA spy girl...the shows are strictly OK types in my opinion.

I want to watch that new show on HBO, The Newsroom with Jeff daniels and is written by Aaron Sorkin. it premieres this sunday.

LOL true ... I watch almost every show on that channel and kinda like it as well. Recently finished watching the Season of Fairly Legal... was so annoyed with the main character, however the side characters were amazing!

Hmmm after the level of layering and just solid GRIPPING drama in GoT, I think I'm going to find USA shows even more pedestrian...lol...and seriously LadyM how can you literally keep watching all these shows that look the SAME...legal dramas, spy thrillers ...hardly ANYTHING to distinguish b/w them and no REALLY memorable characters.

Sure thing, Anu. I'm interested about it because of 1) Aaron Sorkin and 2) Jeff Daniels and last but not the least, the fact that it's based on the current state of affairs of the News Media and American politics and just everything contemporary. It's HBO and so, there's gotta be something in it.

and i totally agree with you on finding USA network shows kinda eh after watching GoT even though GoT is a fantasy drama. But since there's nothing else to watch, i might as well give it a watch.

I was always attracted to the shows where lead characters have sharp wits, oodles of charm, and decent chemistry... other than that I was a big fan of whodunit kinda stories, and also stories of second chances... I dunno ... I am quite unpredictable that way. I may even like GoT, given that I liked LoTR and HP type fictional stories.

GoT is not just your regular "fantasy" series, yeah it has that setting like LoTR but it's still WAY different because of the STORY. There's so much story in every twist, in every character...heck in every place the story is set in the series. But yeah i would wanna warn you about leaving any sort of ethics/ morals/ judgements aside before you start watching it because otherwise all you'd be doing is going "That is so wrong" throughout every episode.😆 oh and there's a WHOLE bunch of sex scenes and nudity too. No family room watching for this series...na-uh!😆
