If Aarti becomes Arpita , then it will make life more difficult for Yash and he will go further into that illusionary world of Arpita

Palak's regression (an umbrella cover for any negative reaction to the dumbest plan) would be a situation that Aarti has herself initiated, planned, and executed (God, Aarti!) unlike in the Ansh kidnapping where there was free-will operating on the part of Ansh. He chose to run away. One could say that was unpredictable, understandable, but unpredictable. Here, I have to say, everything is of Aarti's making. The only free-will that Palak can work with is to chose to accept Aarti's closure or not. If the former works, three cheers and the question becomes moot. But if not...

So, to answer your question, my guess is that Aarti plans to come as Arpita to bring a closure to Palak as I fantasized days back...and say the new mother is Aarti who will be someone she herself has assigned to take care of her or some such. But let's say that Palak the child, buys into Aarti's act completely and refuses to let go of Arpita, then falls sick and what not. And Aarti's plan may backfire since now, she has to permanently take the place of Arpita that I'm sure she probably didn't bargain for and is forced to stick around...

EDIT: I didn't provide an explicit answer. What I meant to say is that Yash would be helpless and would need Aarti to continue with this playacting...I

That is very insensitive...but my doubt is will Palak see Arpita in Arati?, She is not 3 year old, but 6, Palak can very well differentiate between Arati's face and Arpita's. If Arati is coming covering her face may be Palak will take her for Arpita baut otherwise how?😕

I am more concerned for Palak, Yash is going to get angry and shout at her but that we can deal later

@ Jyoti...exactly. may be cvs hv planned this way for aarti to realize. She will be hurt everytime Yash sees her but thinks about Arpita...may be then she will decide to be herself! But what about palak? how will she deal with everything? if she accepts aarti as arpita now, how will she react when aarti decides to be herself? many questions! no answers!😕

@Samana: (bold) I guess that is where this promo comes in. The only way to convince Palak is when Yash and other family members echo that Arpita has indeed come back as Aarti. For that to happen, Aarti has to first convince Yash and others to playact with her or to support her on this. She needs Yash and the family to back this up. She needs Yash in on this. She could tell them that if I could remind you all of Arpita just by dressing like her (she did give them all a start in the promo), then we can together convince Palak that I am her mother. She has been pleading to Yash a lot that this is her one chance to be accepted as a mother by Palak and that she can't do this alone and that she needed his support...she might reiterate all that when he starts to blast her...say that it's not about you or me...it's all about Palak's happiness. Palak will accept whatever Yash tells her.

I wonder if this whole picture has symbolism filled into it ... Aarti is a fairy in Yash and Palak's life and this birthday party too has a fairy theme ...any connection ?? 🤔

Arati can be a fairy in Palak's life and also can bring her out of trauma with a fairy tale set up.

But with Yash, I am not sure, especially if she wears the same saree that Arpita wore on the day she died, isn't a bit insensitive to do for Arati when Yash is concerned?

Won't it remind him of her death and he will more sad than becoming happy for his daughter's birthday?

I don't know, from the day Arati has got this Arpita idea, she is somewhere pushing Yash more to past with her every action

I always wanted him to be clear of Arati and Arpita and not to mix it up and thinking Arati is Arpita and then accepting her, I can't digest that. He should only accept her as Arati

Just a Thought: Apart from this Aarti-guising-as-Arpita idea for Aarti to come closer to Palak, the CVs have been laying equal emphasis on the Yash-Arpita-Aarti triangle ever since Aarti returned. Yash is being reminded of Arpita on almost all his interactions with Aarti now. Why? This can mean only one thing: At the moment Arpita and Aarti hold equal importance in his subconscious...both have the same pull on him...that's why one is leading to another. Only difference is he acknowledges only one. When he called Aarti Arpita (an act he wouldn't have even thought of few days back), he voiced that juxtaposition for the first time. After this is all over and Palak accepts Aarti, we might see Yash tilting more toward Aarti...that is, Aarti will gain edge over Arpita in Yash's subconscious and life.
