i agree with u, i like new gopi's acting and find it more realistic, her crying doesnt annoy me and she is really improving day by day.. thumbs up devoleena

Its the bengali accent which does not suit gopi s character otherwise i am fine. I even found the love making scenes really passionante. The gal was way too much into it 😛. also the way she moulded herself into his chest . The body language and comfort level with nazim is good and today when rucha was applying oil to her feet even there rucha was comfortable. She gels in the cast just fine... Can i be wicked and go on???.

I spoke to my friend yesterday and she's also been watching SNS since the beginning, along with her mother. She's not part of the forum so it was a surprise for them when Dev came but she told me that she accepted Dev as Gopi and found her portrayal true to the role.

😆 I have also not watched an epi yet however I have not commented on her acting skills yet just told people to give her a chance if they can bring themselves to do it. But now I am more and more convinced that she is doing a good job, so thanks shaun for clearing my last doubts about her 😃

You were bloody brilliant! Well ok maybe I am exaggerating. But bloody hell girl you are doing an amazing job!

Yes folks I did it tonight. I watched the scenes that were trashed left right and centre. I watched the new girl who was being lambasted from pillar to post. And I watched her totally objectively. I forced myself to be critical when I watched. Looking out for the faults and flaws pointed out by the rest... Yes they were there. But it seems like faults and flaws were magnified a thousand times to make things seem worse than they were.

She is by no means perfect. But bloody hell give her a few more episodes and she will be coasting it! erm... I am not sure who felt that Aham was not comfortable with her. He totally bloody was! Look at the scenes. Look at them with again... and see what I mean.

She brings something totally different to Gopi. Something better. And given time I am positive that audiences the world over will take her as their own. She has it... and boy is she going to prove it!

One criticism though... Her voice/accent needs working on. I am sure she and the SNS crew are already on that though... And the more she speaks the easier it will get. Crying needs a bit of work. I used to hate it Gopi bahu crying scenes. But Dev's crying is a lot more realistic... and believable. I don't want to cringe anymore.

So yes. Dev is sure to make a place in my heart... and that of millions of other SNS viewers.

I agree...the change brought in gopi's character is so refreshing...I love Dev's crying..except for holi confession scene..she does not break down at the drop of a hat..but her eyes fill up with pain...like today when she walked away from Gohem room...May be the scenes written now bet gohem are much more passionate but I find gohem chemistry really sizzling now..they match each other very well and complement each other...gohem story has matured and I am loving it.
