Ooh, sorry Nurey!!! I honestly won't even have remembered when and how the names were revealed, totally unintentional *sheepish* but yes, in terms of events, it wont count much!
And beyond this SPOILERS ALERT FOR YOU!!!

So yes, Episode 8.
I'm going to jump to Tyrion, Cersei, and the whole Shae twist first. I've always thought that other girl - I can't remember her name and don't want to call her names so just the other girl - has had her kind of very interesting nuances to add to the layers of other characters. Like showing us one of the early glimpses into Theon's no-standard-to-upkeep womanizing weak point. Like that Bayleish monologue revealing his real intentions explicitly wrt Ned, Cat, his demons and his means and ends. Like the other time when they reveal the yet meaner biz side of Bayleish, creepier than I explicitly imagined anyway - when he threatens her about "loss" with an investment 😳 Like the Joffery sequence, which again, not to Joffery's credit, but perhaps to my not learning lessons, freaked me explicitly more than I'd have expected! I didn't really think he would fall for the women whatever Bronn and Tyrion took him for - but his extreme was tad unnerving.
And now this. What I'm trying to say is, that this woman serves a very interesting instrument in the hands of the writers, while exploring and showcasing some extreme sides of characters we know and understand, but do not always perceive accurately in terms of extent. Which was the case here. Again, somehow, I did have a hunch Shae would not be caught - but didn't imagine for the life of me to see her instead! For multiple reasons, I thought it was a masterstroke! Occupational hazard of being a brothel woman is being privy to odd and dark secrets - and she is obviously one high up the ladder there. That Cersei would imagine her to be Tyrion's mistress, again, credible of more than one level. First, of course that he sent her to Joffery - almost like a lose hint he'd forget about, yet Cersei, if she was half of Tyrion's mind, should have known better than to believe Tyrion would send HIS precious mistress to serve that golden-butthead! Khair - so its also interesting how the mere possibility of the Cersei's captive being Shae gets THE TYRION LANNISTER to serve uncharacteristic threats to his own sister! For all the obvious reasons, I know he is the kind to follow through his word - not out of honor, but out of being Tyrion - and might I add, I can hardly wait!!!
Anyway - LOVED seeing such an explicit and candidly vulnerable side to Tyrion for a change. Also, not the last of that other girl we see I suspect... she does make very interesting appearances as and when, and finally it seems, she has won the promise of ONE BIG SHOT who will see his word through - again, not out of honor, he didn't GIVE her his word out of honor to begin with, but because that is HOW much what she has done means to Tyrion, and he's a Lannister to not keep debts after all! [On which note, funny how the unscrupulous Lannisters even HAVE such a reputation to adhere to and deliver in the first place! But of course, not for honor, as for "reputation".]
Cersei is in for tough times, ain't she? She had better be. There are times I can at least understand where she comes from, but none when I feel sympathetic, much less condoning towards her. She makes her own choices. ALL of them and mostly goes for the options she could and likely should avoid. And for that ONE prerogative, she deserves Joffery. Truly the son born of Cersei and Jamie - taking their incest-ual level of wicked to a whole new low!
Dany is unfathomable to me sometimes. No, more than sometimes. What was that hand on cheek caress about? They are my children, the only children I will ever have... So there is pun intended right? She's not just making her stand clear about the dragons, but also stating for him with little uncertainty that his love for her has no future, because she is the chosen one?! ... 🤓 I feel for that guy. I feel more for him than anyone else in this entire Dragon woman tangent of GoT so far. I like him, because like Tyrion, he's NOT a man of honor, particularly, only a man of preferential and quirky loyalties! In fact - at several levels, he is QUITE like Tyrion, wont you say? He's deprived in a different way of what his heart wants most, yet serves the only purpose he can see for himself anymore relentlessly. And there is no sacrifice in him - just... fidelity for the purpose and for Dany to that extent. Let's blame part of the extent on the love of course. Yeh... this man, I feel for. I guess my first devotions in GoT are always going to lay with men of lesser honors 😆 They're just the smarter kind 😆
Aarya and Gunter are going to go places, aren't they? I doubt she's cleaned her hands off the Lannisters yet though - and that J-man's girl will obey words sound... I dunno, like a cue of the bad kind? He's certainly no saint, even if he is a man of his word. BIG PAT to Aarya playing him with his own name as the third target though - whatever I thought of her smartness upto now, she outdid it beyond expectation! 👏
Cat annoyed me. Obviously, because I am a cliche viewer that way! I want to launch into the basic how could she - but I obviously know the answer and its not altogether incredible coming from the mother in her. But she was still being imprudent! She HAS no business making individual calls on CRITICAL matters like that all by herself, when her decisions don't really show the kind of acumen you'd hope for her to have! I wonder if Rien and Jamie will make that journey without having each others' throats though...
Robb and that foreign physician - wow, this was so coming! Yet ... I can't help but be wary of her. She's too profound for him - the way I also think of Shae with Tyrion sometimes - and Robb is NOT Tyrion! Wonder what he's getting himself into, but his mothers bad decision certainly loosened him up from HIS own larger responsibility and he hardly faired better than her, from the way it seems... And that's what I KEEP saying about the characters - all SO imperfect!!! All so full of their own desires and demons!
Wondering how Jon from beyond the wall snow will make it to the iron throne in your avi Amy, I've been wondering more with each episode! But I guess the other crow's words - make sure it wasn't wasted - the crew hunting for him and getting lost or becoming captive, are prophetic words of advice? Things are a little slow for me at this point wrt to this Knights Guard side too! But that's also because there is SO MUCH else happening in King's Landing itself - and about to happen with Stanis coming!

Wokay... Epi 8 that. Epi 9 ditched me thrice. I'll probably put it off to tomorrow - mostly because the seemingly irrevocable loss of NBT makes me want to hold out finishing of GoT in a haste too! Plus, I wana watch THE BLACKWATER episode when I feel less bummed with the torrents!
ps: WOW @both Euro games today. Maz, watched/watching Germany-Holland? Wow first half and bang bang second!!! I wonder if Oranje can pull off a Portugal on Germany in the last minutes for an equalizer now...
