@Aparna: Haven't done by take yet 😒 I have been going from one assignment to another ever since I woke up and have been sneaking in here once in a while so that I can target a specific few takes and read them 😆
Like I said, the episode left me in a weird state of mind, and so some analyses were very important to read so that I can start seeing everything that happened in some sort of a rational way!
I find your point about Yash being an immature partner interesting because after all the tragedy he has been through, you would think that his perspective would be much more matured, but ironically it is that same tragedy makes him act completely irrational and like you said immature at times, especially where his relationship with Aarti is concerned! He is so succumbed into his past that he refuses to see or hear any rational thought against it! It's been three years since Arpita passed away and he is still holding on to her for dear life, still completely unwilling to let go, to the point where he is still in that phase where he keeps asking her to come back! His pain is tangible and touching but it's not healthy, especially since so much time has passed, and more importantly because it is hindering his daughters from moving on with their own lives! His obsession with Arpita is holding PayPal back, stopping them from accepting anyone new in their life, because Arpita is the only connection holding them close to Yash, and they, especially Palak, probably feels that if she allows anyone in her life as a mother it will be an insult to BOTH her parents!
PayPal were 3-4 years old when Arpita died so more than having physical memories of her as their mother, they have manifested on Yash's memories of her and started living off them! Yash completely withdrew himself and became nothing short of a shell after she died, and I am sure for a while, the kids probably thought that they had lost BOTH their parents! And so they clung on to the very thing that would get through to Yash- Arpita! I am not discounting Arpita's factor in their life and I am sure Palak shared a very deep bond with her but I don't really buy the fact that she is holding to her own memories of time spent with Arpita mainly because she was extremely young when she passed! It left a gaping hole in her life, something that grew when Yash completely shut himself off from everyone, so that's why she is so quick to pleasing Gayatri and Bua because they were the ones who were there for her when neither her parents were, and would do anything to gain their approval! That's why Yash needs to take some kind of a stand for Aarti in front of PayPal because it's only when Palak will sense his approval of her in their lives will she able to even think about accepting her!
And about Aarti and her possessiveness over Ansh, there is no question that she was obsessed with him in the earlier days of the marriage, but the point remains that she did do everything she could to make a positive impression of Yash in Ansh's mind, especially on that very first day where everything seemed to be going downhill! Yash just needs to take that one step, his one stamp of approval will make this journey much easier for Aarti because Palak might actually become susceptible to her them, and once the ice is broken, Aarti can undertake the rest of the journey successfully!
P.S.
He only seemed perfect because we were looking at him from afar. The warts are showing at close-up (or is that my HD Tv ?🤣)Brilliant, just brilliant
🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, you really have the most endearing takes, and I just love them! But it is quiet amazing what impression HD TV can give about a person, cystal clear vision FTW 😆
