@Maham :"Yash is going through same phase which Aarti was going through few weeks back ... She used to encourage Ansh's fears because of her possessiveness being a single mother and today I saw Yash encouraging PayPal's fears because of his own obsession for Arpita ...
Aarti came out of that phase when she saw Yash going his way out to save Ansh 😳 and so here I feel soon Aarti will do something drastic for PayPal to get Yash out of his Arpita obsession phase 🤔

@Maham, was scouring for your take on today. Please point me to the page ( am lazier than usual today).

Agreed on Yash. He only seemed perfect because we were looking at him from afar. The warts are showing at close-up (or is that my HD Tv ?🤣)

I think Yash is a very immature partner actually. He is sensitive to Aarti as a person but not as her partner. What according to him is her role in their lives? Why should she put up with his mom and bua? I am afraid with the lack of info about his family's culpability the first time Aarti was around, he is thinking he brought her back because SHE needed him. This is so opposite. They are both equals in the marriage. No one is greater. Neither of these two have made it their job to collaborate.

As I said before, forget as a mom, Palak should be able to want to spend time with Aarti as a friend, or a friend's mom. Then she can see in her little mind that Aarti is harmless and quite friendly. Then she can see how loving she is to Ansh and want some. Then progress into more as time will allow.

I will give you a RL example, to cut to the chase, we have a couple who was in the middle of a divorce and the dad who was our friend got custody. Now the kid who is my older daughter's friend spent an inordinate amount of time with us while the parents were sorting this out. It was a terrible time for the kid and the first few days he was quite angry toward me - which I understood as jealousy. Slowly he and I are friends and sometimes in the heat of a game, he will call me mummy also. Now, I dont think the kid is mine or am not running off to the kid's dad or anything(quite happy with hubster ;) ) but thats what happens when a kid is dealing with a caring adult who is non threatening in their mind.

(Btw, if you are curious how the dad is doing, he is dating a lovely woman who has a kid too , we are all hoping they will hook up. Yash and Aarti anyone?)

@Samana, I think we are more or less aligned. I am just not happy with the lack of manners in the little child toward a kind adult but am willing to concede that the set of circumstances and bua's instigation have turned Aarti into Arpita erasor in the little mind. Fair point. Hopefully the child will be saved - not in the filmy sense (someone put away all the guns) , the child needs to learn to be a child - goes back to Aarti's ill advised rant maybe - carefree and relaxed. Aarti should ask Vidhi to shut up and the next day talk to Palak as a friend and say sorry, didnt know I was changing your mom's decorations. Help me put the room back the way it was and btw, what was your mom's fav color?

@Aparna: Haven't done by take yet 😒 I have been going from one assignment to another ever since I woke up and have been sneaking in here once in a while so that I can target a specific few takes and read them 😆

Like I said, the episode left me in a weird state of mind, and so some analyses were very important to read so that I can start seeing everything that happened in some sort of a rational way!

I find your point about Yash being an immature partner interesting because after all the tragedy he has been through, you would think that his perspective would be much more matured, but ironically it is that same tragedy makes him act completely irrational and like you said immature at times, especially where his relationship with Aarti is concerned! He is so succumbed into his past that he refuses to see or hear any rational thought against it! It's been three years since Arpita passed away and he is still holding on to her for dear life, still completely unwilling to let go, to the point where he is still in that phase where he keeps asking her to come back! His pain is tangible and touching but it's not healthy, especially since so much time has passed, and more importantly because it is hindering his daughters from moving on with their own lives! His obsession with Arpita is holding PayPal back, stopping them from accepting anyone new in their life, because Arpita is the only connection holding them close to Yash, and they, especially Palak, probably feels that if she allows anyone in her life as a mother it will be an insult to BOTH her parents!

PayPal were 3-4 years old when Arpita died so more than having physical memories of her as their mother, they have manifested on Yash's memories of her and started living off them! Yash completely withdrew himself and became nothing short of a shell after she died, and I am sure for a while, the kids probably thought that they had lost BOTH their parents! And so they clung on to the very thing that would get through to Yash- Arpita! I am not discounting Arpita's factor in their life and I am sure Palak shared a very deep bond with her but I don't really buy the fact that she is holding to her own memories of time spent with Arpita mainly because she was extremely young when she passed! It left a gaping hole in her life, something that grew when Yash completely shut himself off from everyone, so that's why she is so quick to pleasing Gayatri and Bua because they were the ones who were there for her when neither her parents were, and would do anything to gain their approval! That's why Yash needs to take some kind of a stand for Aarti in front of PayPal because it's only when Palak will sense his approval of her in their lives will she able to even think about accepting her!

And about Aarti and her possessiveness over Ansh, there is no question that she was obsessed with him in the earlier days of the marriage, but the point remains that she did do everything she could to make a positive impression of Yash in Ansh's mind, especially on that very first day where everything seemed to be going downhill! Yash just needs to take that one step, his one stamp of approval will make this journey much easier for Aarti because Palak might actually become susceptible to her them, and once the ice is broken, Aarti can undertake the rest of the journey successfully!

P.S. He only seemed perfect because we were looking at him from afar. The warts are showing at close-up (or is that my HD Tv ?🤣)

Brilliant, just brilliant 🤣🤣🤣 Seriously, you really have the most endearing takes, and I just love them! But it is quiet amazing what impression HD TV can give about a person, cystal clear vision FTW 😆

I wonder what will b the moment or a jolt which will make Yash take a final decision that its time to move on and at least make an attempt for a fresh new beginnning with Aarti 🤔...
Aarti got that jolt this week after seeing that ugly face of Prashant and she takes a decision for a new beginning
But in case of Yash , what will b the final jolt ... he will not even hv Aarti type excuse of his past does not exist because Arpita was a loyal wife for Yash ...

@Aparna: Yes indeed we are. I am none too pleased with Palak's lack of manners, in her general comportment towards Aarti either. I think the issue is though that she mistakes kindness for weakness and has no respect for Aarti as a result. I was watching the scene again (and bawling my eyes out, again) and I realised it is interesting the logic that forms in Palak's head from all her various sources.

1. She claims that Aarti is getting back at her for calling her "step-mummy"
2. She says that her mother is with god and isn't coming back, so how can this be her mother?
3. She says her mother used to love her while this woman only loves Ansh, so she doesn't want her.

So from this we can conclude that:

1. She thinks Aarti wants to usurp Arpita's title of "mummy" and is getting back at her for not accepting this
2. She has only one mother, who is with god. Aarti cannot be her mother because she is not Arpita. Does Aarti being her mother mean that Arpita is back, which would imply that her daadi lied?
3. Why should she settle for a hand-me-down mom when she had/has one that was only hers and loved her to bits?

Aarti has her work cut out for her answering these questions...

Also, in rewatching, I was really disturbed by the fact that Aarti started crying. It reminded me so much of the sports day when Ansh shouted at her about losing because his father wasn't there. Then also at the first sign of her kid questioning her, she completely broke down. I understand that Palak's words and actions stung, but they weren't exactly out of the blue! And the fact that Ansh always has to take that role of the man in her life disturbs me to no end! She needed affirmation from a six year old that she was indeed a good mother. I don't have a problem with the affirmation, only the fact that Aarti needed it. I really worry for Ansh sometimes.

@Jyo I have seen bewafa too. so aarti might get her hair cut like arpita and start wearing her jewelry and transform her personality. and prashant can come back just like kareena's boyfriend does in the movie.

Aarti in her desperation might try out weird stuffs 😆..but this is where I guess Yash will oppose and make her realise that she is fine as Aarti only ...mayb advice her not to loose her identity ...
they did show a contrast ..on one hand Aarti decides to become Arpita and on other hand Yash confidently tells Pankaj that Aarti will never become Arpita and she is fine as Aarti only when it comes to being PayPal's mother ... I m sure there will b some reason why this contrast of Yash-Pankaj and Aarti-Vidhi interaction shown na 🤔
