But u realize one thing, Here Ganga is shown so helpless, but actual Ganga is a very powerful devi,as she grown her power multiplies, Actual she used to take care of Parvati and killed many asuras. All the army of Taraka was afraid of Ganga.

just wondering: why do we need to give a name to each and every relation... and if we do then why give it a name like father -beti or consort/friend, mistress or even first wife...

Kalidas was a poet. Poets & writers are apperciated for their imaginary work. If they are taking his writings seriously as a puranic event , then why Kalidas, each & every writer who has written about Shivji, Ganga, Parvati should be taken seriously & shown in the show. The version we are watching is imaginative too many times, but in the end they show the Purana's story mostly. Hope they stick to the original version.

Every poet or writer depends on a matter to get inspiration. Jealousy is a human quality. Parvati by her penance had surpassed such qualities. That is the real Parvati, not the one described by personal interpretation of a human. Ganga is only a part of this story, which is mainly about Shiv-Shakti, their seperation & union. Giving importance to any other so called mature relation, should not be part of this show. It should be about Shiv-Parvati, which itself has a good matter to show.

i dont think they will ever show a love traingle between Ganga-Mahadev and Parvati-they wont do something so dumb...its a Devi Devta they are talking about not some random hero heroine!Parvati is said to have been slightly insecure about Mahadev maybe only because she loved him far too much,but Mahadev always loved her and hence never took her insecurity towards Ganga or anyone seriously... because even he knew that besides Parvati he cannot be anyone elses!Mahadev contained Ganga but for goodness sake he never had any relation with her other than that!al meenaxi said what Kalidasa wrote was more fictional and was for entertainment during those time over anything else
