He was lost in his child… giving his loe to his child….

One person who was observer of all this was Dadima… she was seeing the pain Maan was giving geet since he had married her… she has continuously tried to explain him but at last seeing his heartless side she started hating her own grandson…

This old women has seen so much, her own sone leaving his family and now her grandson torturing his wife… her life was so painfull… never did she get to see a happy family in this mansion.

Past:

For six months Maan was lost in his child, to protect him from whole world… something always scared him that his child may not be hurt just like him and he just ignored the fact that Geet wa in their life… actually he used to remember her but always pushed that thought and ignored her… but six months, his son was getting great care but he did not realize that no one can give child the love of mother…. And he felt it too sometimes but then would shieh

"Kash Geet you would have not lost my trust as mother aaj hum ek family kee tarah rehte and my son would not have missed mother's touch… per tum kya doogee maa ka pyar isse."

But slowly slowly as months passed by… one mnth, two mnth, three month… but come four mnth he himself started missing Geet's presence in his life. It sometimes used to come to his mind to check on her… but he just kept ignoring his heart's inner wish…

This kept happening for two more month… the wish to check on her increased by day..

Geet was on other hand… compacted her world to one room in Mansion and her mission to punish herself… any punishment she thought for herself was less… but after begging him for one month…. She decided the penance for herself and she was on it… she made it her world… her reson to live.

Dadima only coming to check on her sometimes… though she tried to keep herself aloof all the time.

Somehow unable to control his increasing urges he one day went to check on her after lots of thinking….

When he went to her room, it was all dark… no source of light… she has shut her self from the world thus sinking into depression… She has slowly completely changed her… hating Geet she started doing all Geet would never do…

He was surprised to see such a dark room in this bright day… something scared him.. he switched on the light.. just one dim light lit up… scaring him further.

He moved further to open the windows.. room was lighted now but Geet was no where. He then enquired with the servents

"Sir, every Thursday Mam goes out some where other wise she is all the time in this room"

This sounded weird to him… yes it was weird… he had made her whole life weird and now he was thinking her acts were weird.

Hearing this weird news somewhere he got encouraged to check where she goes but none knew it in whole Mansion. Maan who had, very within his heart taken her for granted, knowing she will never leave him and his child and go and thus did not feel the need to keep check on her… for the first time now his heart felt somewhat scared.

But he had no option but to wait in her room till she comes.

Geet came to her room and saw it all lighted..

"Who have lighted this room" Maan hid behind the curtain to know what she was upto…

Geet climebed on the chair on her knee to close the window… and the Maan got the scene he never imagined… whole her feet were burnt… it was red and swiollen burn bubles on both her feet… and she looked all tired.. looked very sick and horrible scene was she simply wlked on the floor with plain foot without even the twitch of pain…. She was numb…. Maan was in horror…. Everything was confusing for him… no one knows where she goes and she keeps herself shut..

He wanted to get out and question her but suddenly changed his descision… whole week though being with Mohit his mind drifted to Geet

Next Thursday he followed her far behind in a Taxi… he saw her stooped in front of Dargah and went inside… he just quietly kept following her .. she then offered her prayers and then went little more inside… and then what he saw.. tore his hurt.. Geet was trying to surpass all the pain he has given… the rows of burning coal was laid and she started to walk bare foot on it…. He felt deep pain seeing her like that… after along time he felt pain for her… he ran to move her from coal.. she was walking on the coal as if her legs were immune to them…

He ran but was stopped by a baba…

"kyun roka mujhe… move her from there…."

"No son… you are not allowed to go there… she is doing the penance and in God doorstep anyone can do whatever soothes their soul"

Maan couldnot take his eyes off her…. he had lived in his world for all these day not having inch of idea what his own wife was going thru…. Sudden ache he felt in his heart…

He wanted to know what made her do this… he insisted but baba was not telling…

"Do you know her"

Maan did not want to tell baba who he was or else he could never find the truth…

"No but I cannot see her like this" "if you don't let her do she will give up her life in pain"

Maan was now not going to leave… he somehow made baba tell him the whole truth…

"Then listen… only after she said all the truth in front of God, did we allow her to do this… yeh Allah ka darbar hai… yahan sabko apnee dil halka kerne ka mauka diya jata hai… hum usse kaie rookte"

"Kya hai iskee Kahani"

"She is doing the Penance for her sin and the sin her Husband has done" Maan's heart started beating fast…one side the story of Baba was holding him,.. the hole truth and one side her walking on burning coal wanted him to run and save her….

But he was not allowed to go there not could she hear his voice…

"Kaisee saza… kya galtee"

"uske Galtee… the pain that she has caused her paents and family… the trust that she had broken of her family, for giving her heart to a person who has no heart"

Maan closed his eyes…. "and most important… unknowingly trying to abort her child….she wanted to punish herself for all this"

"Kya… sachmuch usse kuch pata nahi tha…."

"nahi… wooh to uss nirdayee ke khayaloon me.. uske hee dukh me dubee thee j…usse kuch pata nahi tha aur usne ek galtee ke… apne jaan dene kee soche jiska nateeja"

Maan felt numb "Nateeja nahi Janna mujhe"

"She is also punishing herself to take away the sin of that sinner" "Who"

"Her husband… she knows he is doing the sin by separating her from her child but phir bhi yeh…

Pagli hai.. kehtee hai dil se majboor hai…. Can't see even God blaming him and punishing him… so she is doing all this pain to punish herself and take his sin away…"

Maan could not stand…he felt that his heart would burst….

"Kehtee hai… kabhi maaf nahi karrongee unhe per kisi aur ko unhe saza dene nahi de saktee…"

Maan was sweating… not with hot weather but the truth….

"Abb bhi kabhi kabhi aatee hai muhse milne.. kehtee hai… baba dil abb bhi kyun dharakta hai mera…. Yeh kabtak dharkega… yeh rukta kyun nahi chalna… kyunkee jab tak chalega unke liye dharkega yeh… main nahi chatee yeh"

"Aur humme aisee mushkil me dal diya iss ladki ne… humme gussa bhi aaye to bhi hum uss nirdaye ke badoowa nahi de sakte…."

Maan could not hear more and closed his ears…..

"stop it, I cannot hear more… I am going to get her out" "jaoo per woo nahi aayegee"

Geet was busy madly walking on the burning coal when Maan directly went there and took her in his arm… the moment she saw him she went unconscious

He could not walk seeing her condition and knowing the truth… his legs were shaking… he somehow took the support of a pillar and slidded down with her….

"Itna pyar mujhse…. Kyun???" he closed his eyes in pain… with her unconscious he slided down and sat on ground…

He was trying to realize everything now… she loved him like mad, she loved her baby and she really was unaware of the fact the she was pregnant… it was the way Baba told him about her penance, there was no chance not to believe…. And it was because he had hurted her she was lost in him and did not know what's going within her own self….

Every where he was the culprit and every time he punished her and that too the severiest of punishment….

His heart was aching… he could not believe he did make such a big mistake… in his pride , ego and selfishness…

He revised whole their relation for beginning… he had always been selfish and taking from her and she had always loved him madly and did everything just for him….

The truth does not hit but when it hits you it hits badly

"Yeh kya ker diya maine" he cried in pain… the pain was piercing, unbearable.. he felt suffocated…

"Abb saalon ke ibadat ke baad he yeh tujhe wapas mil saktee hai… bohut dur hai yeh teri pahuch se abb"

"Baba…" "Nadan… murkh… tujhe kya laga main pehchan nahi paunga tu he woo insaan hai….yeh aanke sab pehchantee hai… isliye sab bataya tujhe… Abb jaa yahan se, tera yahan koi kaam nahi…."

Maan for the first tim wanted to talk to Baba… wanted to believe in things like Baba as he did not no any solution but Baba was gone….

"Gee-eet" he cried in pain…. seeing her condition… knowing he was responsible he placed her close to his heart.

It was a sudden change in heart… yes the realization just hit a person… he sat there thinking and thinking knowing all the way what a big sinner he was and what an angel she was.
