For long, he had been labeled as a stud who always got his way with women. It was no surprise to see TV's hunk Ali Mercchant with a new pretty thing dangling on his arm at several parties. He was like a rolling stone who refused to find its resting spot.
That was until he got settled down with Sara Khan on Bigg Boss season 4 by getting hitched to her on the Colors show. And then came the shocker! He split up with her a few weeks later and both went their own ways.
Ali Mercchant in a bid to assuage his guilt confessed on Life OK's Sach Ka Saamna a couple of months ago that he had had a casual dalliance with a random girl in Delhi when he was married to Sara, which is what lead to his marriage falling apart. 🤣
Sach Ka Saamna episode got over and Ali's fling was forgotten. But unconfirmed reports are that the girl Ali got into the sack with in Delhi is none other than Hunar Hali, the lead of Colors' show Chhal Sheh aur Maat. 🤣
Apparently, a little before Ali and Sara drifted, the dandy dude was seen in Delhi introducing a sexy looking thing (in a teeny-weeny skirt) to a renowned TV director, asking him to help the girl get some work in television. That actress reportedly was Hunar who was then struggling to break into TV.
Sources say that Ali and Hunar got into a short-lived tempestuous relationship around that time and hence, Ali was promoting her.
We tried connecting with Sara to find out if she knew anything about the Hunar-Ali encounter. She, however, remained unavailable.
We then got in touch with Hunar and she denied that she had ever rolled in the hay with Ali. "I might have met him at a few Delhi parties, but we have not slept together," she stated categorically. "I don't know why I am being targeted like this - maybe because my show is becoming popular." 🤪 🤣
Ali, however, ducked the question saying, "Please, I don't want any more controversies."

The angry wife knocked and knocked and swore at him from outside, threatening to break the door down and demanding to know who was with him inside. After 20 minutes of relentless knocking, when her husband didn't answer the door again, she went home seething.
Later that evening, when the actor finally showed up at home, his missus didn't wait for him to take a seat before letting loose a volley of curses. To which the actor allegedly responded very coolly, claiming he had no idea what she was talking about. Insisting that she was paranoid, and that she'd hallucinated the entire incident, the actor dismissed his wife's suspicions and assured her that he was indeed playing cards with friends all afternoon. 🤣 🤣
