PRIYYYAAA!!!! ๐Ÿค— Yay, 250 EPISODES!!!! WOWSA!!! Let me start off by saying, the lyrics from the "Nahi Samne" VM are going to be my subtext for this post! I absolutely loved it, and I think the words are so very apt for what we are seeing right now. Really enjoyed reading all three of the Crooners, yaar!! Stylistically, you tried something different and it worked in all instances! Haila, the JSF quote in today's Crooner is fabulous! I can quote that entire piece by him!๐Ÿ˜ And the COLLAGES!!! WOW!! Add yet another magnificent piece (I should say pieces) to your repertoire of all things beautifully creative!!!๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Well, its been a long three days, and I feel like I've come back to a whole new ArHi...Now, the pain and awareness of what it means to be in love comes full circle for them. Love is the sweetest torment; could anybody embody this sentiment more than ArHi? I am going to weave all three episodes into my post because obviously they are all related and the trajectory of emotions worked well from one episode to the next. As much as both of them are fighting their own battles in this war of emotions, I must say, I was more riveted with what was going on with ASR! But I'll start with Khushi...

'Dekho Chodke Kis Raaste Vo Jaate Hain, Saare Raaste Vaapas Mere Dil Ko Aate Hain...'

Starting on that bridge where the past comes hitting Khushi; her eyes don't hold anything back. Every moment she was betrayed, lied to, and used. Abused...emotionally, mentally, her mind battered...her heart has chosen to bury those thoughts, but the mind doesn't allow it...She wants him to believe her; to seek resolution to all that has been misconstrued. Instead, she has come up against a wall...A wall that refuses to let her scale and bring it down. Finally, a realization that she now has a mammoth task ahead of her. Apprehension written on her face from that first scene at RM. Her truth remains as words...nothing else. For her love-- yes, sacred to her, yet, she doesn't give it a name--she turns to the one person who has betrayed her more than anyone else. Love vs. hate...put to the test under intense duress. She senses the manipulation, an attempt to be framed, yet again. In desperation, she tries to talk to Arnav, but her words do not find an audience!

Today, she tries only to understand the hatred. The love has been put on the back burner. She gathers her things because yes, she believes she had no right to anything that was his: be it his heart or his room! She finally comprehends the very gravitas of all his actions--the marriage, him throwing her out the room that first night, the berating. A painful epiphany of where she stands with him in the equation of love. There is no equation there...Her trust in her own feelings, her own instincts, are starting to die a slow death... At this juncture, asking the devil for a favor is not only about protecting her own love, but it is about protecting what is sacred to her: her own self worth!

'Mere Saath Hai Tu, Mera Saath Hai...Mere Paas Hai...'

Yes, Priya, a very apt reference to Othello...for Arnav only saw that which he wanted to see...Yes, he knows she speaks the truth, her eyes do not betray her, he sees it completely. As you correctly pointed out, this was his ego speaking more than anything else...even during the engagement, his first reaction after the very shock that he went through, was asking her "tumne mujhe batana zaroori nahi samjha"...he repeated his words yet again on this bridge. I mentioned it in my post on Tuesday: the most important thing to him is knowing that somewhere he mattered in her life. He doesn't even need it to be acknowledged as love...He wants affirmation...and yes, he is extremely possessive of his love; he is not even aware of how much! Yes, thats why the terrace scene is sealed in his mind. Thats is why he cannot see beyond it. That is precisely the reason he refuses to register the truth!! The very reason why once he goes back to the RM, he keeps thinking of everything she has shared with him. As much as he wills to think otherwise, in his heart, he knows she has not betrayed him. Somewhere, he is trying to grasp the trust issue which has left a gaping hole in their relationship since the beginning. But this is a hard lesson for someone who has never known how to trust, how to value what it means to be loyal. He only perceives it in the worst way possible manner because of the cards he has been dealt in his past. In a lot of ways, Arnav is like the little boy who sees his bestie with someone new. And immediately feels betrayed. Even now after knowing the truth, anyone else would have beaten the pulp out of Shyam, but for Arnav its only about Khushi...He cannot fathom that she wouldn't have told him about what Shyam put her through, no matter how valid the reason! At this moment, his anger only remains with Khushi, because she--more than di, more than Shyam, more than anyone else-- matters the most!

In the dhaaga scene, his first reaction is to tell her to stop the drama...of course, she pointedly reminds him, that "dhaaga humein zabardaasti thamna padha, humari marzi nahi thi, lekin ab joh baandh diya hai toh...", a semblance of mending their relationship... his eyes continue to search for even a speck of a lie in there...but he finds nothing...thats why her pricking her finger hurt him more than it did her. The sorry was completely involuntary...As if asking for forgiveness for all that he has put her through...The heart speaking for the mind...yet in the next instance, its mind over everything else! The little boy remembers what the bestie has done!

'Bhichadke bhi mujse juda toh nahi, Khafa hai magar bewafa toh nahi...'

In today's epi, we saw more of the same...The very nexus of their relationship at the forefront of everything he does. A complete awareness of her being at the office...Turning back & looking at her, staring at her through his glass window...yes, its hit home after everything that she is his wife and that will never change. Yet, the car scene where he drives away says so much...He puts the window up, yet he can see her emotions completely in the sideview mirror...yes, the mirror never hides anything! It is whether he chooses to believe or not!

Cut to the bedroom...So many different elements at play here! I couldn't help but remember the epi when he is home alone without her...How he registers every part of her presence in the room...We saw it happen again. He looks around, and immediately senses the difference! Yes, he takes the stars and throws them on the floor...But in the very next instance he dictates where she belongs. Her place is in that room even if she herself does not choose to remain there...The Arnav Rekha has taken on yet a whole new dimension; it is blurred. While the distance remains between the bed and the recliner, he still wants her in his bed. He may say she has betrayed him, but his actions towards her speak otherwise...He misses every part of her, even though she remains in front of him.

Fantastic Views:

Anjali!!!: Absolutely loved, loved, loved Anjali today & in Thursdays epi! Her character is the biggest enigma on this show to many, but for me, she has always been consistent. She loves Khushi unconditionally...She can call her bluff anytime. There is no way Anjali will ever blame her for anything that Shyam has done. Even if Khushi tries to make herself a scapegoat, Anjali will not allow it! I also enjoyed the scene between her & her Chotey...Clearly, we are getting ready to revisit the past...The rearview mirror comes a calling! Some part of Mallik will soon make an appearance!๐Ÿ˜‰

Buaji-Maami convo from Thursdays epi: Buaji is such a firecracker...Loved how she put Manu in her place...References to "going back to school" completely in synch with my characterization of our "little boy" and his beef with his bestie!๐Ÿ˜†

The new RV: ttly grew on me...When I watched Wednesday's epi, I did not like it at all...In the dhaaga scene, I was longing for the old RV, 'til I heard the very last part where the old refrain comes in...Today, I LOVED IT! Their pain and angst now has definitive meaning, thanks to the amazing lyrics in the song!

Payal: That one look she shot at Shyam in the living room scene on Wednesday spoke volumes! Yes, Arnav will believe the truth from the horse's mouth, but Payal will clearly be a proxy for all that Khushi has said and maintained! It will start with her, and the Guptas will then join in!

Scratch My Head Moments:

Aakash: has morphed into Bubbly's eggheaded cousin. All of a sudden reason has flown out the window...A temporary visitor, no matter how endearing, has started rule all his thoughts; yes, Raizada genes remain intact!๐Ÿ˜† Never mind that Payal is the love of his life. Somehow, making Aakash so irrational is SO NOT WORKING for me. But I guess this is how we separate them? Yes?! The logical side of me still questions why a separation is necessary! Of course, its another track for ArHi, but a scheming, manipulative nine year old is the best souten for Payal?๐Ÿคข I hope the CVs redeem themselves by playing on the orphan angle a bit more and show some interaction between Khushi and Bubbly...or better yet, send Bubbly back to her boarding school!๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I appreciated that all three episodes moved very quickly! Clearly, Sobti's turn as "Mr. Right"๐Ÿ˜† comes a calling! I think the CVs may pull all the stops with the kidnapping plot. I said it before, my gut thinks this is the ultimate entrapment: a trap within a trap. I won't say anything else, other than the fact that Arnav's seemingly tepid reaction to Shyam after Khushi's revelation confirms that ASR is the mastermind. Now, we'll watch the master puppeteer at work!!๐Ÿ˜ƒ

I have seen some of the pics from the mahuraat function for our hero's new flick! I am very, very happy for him. He seems a tad nervous in a few instances, but when he gets in front of that camera, he will shine! I sincerely hope he realizes every dream that heart holds; he so deserves it!! God Bless him and Pashmeen!๐Ÿ˜Š

Missed all of you guys a lot! I won't be around for the ME as I have a busy weekend on tap! Will try to join in the discussion on Sunday evening my time (Mon am, IST)๐Ÿ˜Š Would like to wish all the moms a VERY, VERY HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY weekend!๐Ÿ˜ƒ

P.S. Loved your Westin-Tulsi hotel reference...๐Ÿ˜† But the "wood" is better at the Westin, anyday!!!๐Ÿ˜‰๐Ÿคฃ

P.P.S. Your "Leave Application Request" in today's Crooner has me stumped!๐Ÿ˜ฒ No Crooner for 11 days! Quel Horreur!!!๐Ÿ˜ฒ

Anjali... Wow๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘... I must say, you are an awesome writer. It feels like, you just start and the rest flows from your heart (ok now that rhymes๐Ÿ˜†๐Ÿ˜†). Wonderful Analysis dear

Loved your crooner Priya, this was a good episode. Got to hand it to the CVs for giving us a power packed week of epis, they haven't let fans down.
I felt for both Khushi and Arnav in this episode too, both are really hurting and have no one to turn to. The office scene was too good with Arnav continuing to battle with his mind and heart, now its not the terrace scene that haunts him its the middle of the road scene. His heart is really putting up a fight here
The bedroom scene was my fave though with Khushi slowly removing her existence from Arnav's life but him being unable to let go. Arnav wants her close and is doing whatever he can to hold onto her but will he be able to do so once Khushi proves her innocence? I do believe once Khushi proves her innocence she will leave not knowing how much Arnav loves her and he will let her go believing he does not deserve her love after everything he put her through.

"There are as many forms of love as there are moments in time."
Jane Austen , Mansfield Park

Arnav -Khushi :::

The chaotic web of love , pain ,hurt and betrayal!!!! He just cudnt let her go..She will not let him go!!!
and for arnav its no longer the battle between heart and mind!!! He s jus not able to decide and the anger , guilt , regret is playing their tunes really well..

Khushi : my heart goes out to her!!! The emotionally stronger one ..she will do all that it takes to prove her innocence to arnav...Its not about proving that he is wrong...it all abt her intolerance o his hatred!!!

awww...arnav questioning her abt removing the things in the room and that rabba ve...aww!!! One of the outstanding scenes with small effective dialogues!!! she has occupied a space which arnav will know and maybe when he accepts that..it might be little too late !!

Duur jithna bhi tum mujh se
Paas teray mein
Ab tho aadat si hai mujh ko aisay jeenay mein
Zindagi say koi shikwa
Bhi nahin hai
Ab tho zinda hoon mein iss neelay aasman mein

anjali - asr ::: yes the past might peep in sometime..maybe in the next few weeks ...yeyeyeey ..the foudation s just getting laid :)

Shyam :::
The man who never misses an oppourtunity ...!!!
bask in the short lived glory ya!!!
see even a cbse board sets up three set of question papers for their exam...then imagine a will ya!!! shyam kiss school mein pada tha yaar??? ๐Ÿ˜†

if u don know this..jus go ask bubbly..lets c if a 9 yr old knows something abt school apart from her devious plans!!!! cv's i have no clue as to y she is here...But right now she s surely getting in my nerves...

role reversal ho raha hain///maami s gettin scared of payal..Bubbly is watching all scary things..upar se..she shouts at payal and payal jus leaves the place...!!!! ๐Ÿ˜•
gawddd...main pareshan pareshan pareshan bubbly hai yeh yaahaan main pareshaan pareshaan pareshaan par yeh kyun hai yahaan ???
