Jeans isn't formal wear so naturally it can't be allowed at office be it men or women, but ain't women wear blazer and formals. So you mean to say that if jeans are not allowed at office, how can it be allowed in joint family. Joint family or nuclear family, the thing is that women should feel that it is her own house where she has a right to become comfortable, which women can be comfortable with saree, jewelleries and pallu on her head all the time and dictating mother-in-law in a joint family. The problem wouldn't be there if they were showing one or two serials like that, but hell all the channels are showing similar serials except sony which is still better but not best. Ain't sasural women's own home, is it a militry school or jail where women need to dressed in uniform like compulsory saree and need to be disciplined all the time. I can take this serials just as entertainment, but are they really entertaining? Why we look TV, to see little glamour which we can't see in real life and to get entertained, but neither this serials nor the pathetic reality shows and cheap shows like roadies with bully judges aren't entertaining.
And I can ignore this serials but they were hurting my personal life once, my ex-mil idiot was expecting me to wear saree all the time and behave like that heroine of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai
