6. Shyam is a genius when it comes to stupidity.
He hides a wet and slippery soap in a plant and expects to find it there.
Creep, those are Arnav's plants. They are faithful to him, unlike you. At the right moment, they gave away the soap to Bubbly - who is currently, an equivalent of Khushi, as per Arnav.

So whatever creep is trying to do, his attempts are getting delayed thanks to Anjali.
And when he tries to hide his evil deed, Khushi comes into the picture. "

i cudnt stop smiling while reading this para..enjoyed reading.. brilliant post!!

Nice episode definitely and great analysis !
We seem to be back on some sort of track ( the change of venue seems to have breathed fresh new life into the fandom which is a relief ) Also ,everyone seems to have missed the Guptas which is being remedied ,in fact a week long dose alongwith some hope of hints being let fall of shyam's duplicity ...
Khushi's singing and ASR's ;Holy ...! ...priceless! Much as we rave about their acting ...,words are just not enough .

Shalinidp, profound analysis as usual..the first segment I loved how you mentioned each and every scene and my most favorite was

5. LOVED that usually it was Khushi who closed the door of their room when the two were inside. Today, Arnav closed the door of their room, after Nani and Anjali left.

After I read that post ,I thot about it and yup it was actually cute , and that really shows their comfort level as husband and wife...

I was actually very impressed by the last segment " tipping of scales" , Arnav' s change, Shyam 's real identity revealing and Khushi's tactics against Arnav gaining a upper hand...very nicely done...thanks for the pm..appreciate it..

Loved the connection between Bubbly and Khushi and how they both are similar to Arnav and yet both are preventing Shyam from succeeding. 😃 Great post and thanks for the pm

AGREEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!😳

Performances

Fantastic performances by Barun and Sanaya yet again
Barun's expressions in the Good bye scene were PRICELESS!!
Sanaya was BRILLIANT in the car scene!!

CVs, excellent sequences:
1. Arnav-Khushi in the car when he stops to oust her (perhaps, not seriously), but decides otherwise
2. Shyam-Anjali scene about the soap

Progress Points

1. Arnav agreed to go to GH
2. Arnav-Khushi comfort level increasing
3. Shyam loses key imprinted soap - Anjali causes delay

Favorite Scene

Finger on the lips!
Arnav-Khushi in the car
Arnav-Khushi with the plant

Arnav Chale Sasuraal

1. So, Khushi and the Nari Shakti Morcha finally got Arnav to agree to go live in his sasuraal for a do-aath din (about 8 days).
After speeches from Nani and Di, Arnav had little chance to say no, though in all fairness, he tried.

hahahha... poor him... Maternity home main mangal...hahahha

2. LOVED Arnav expressions throughout this dialog of Ladies vs. Arnav Singh Raizada.
However, the protest from Arnav wasn't very strong. He simply announced that he wasn't going. However, the moment Anjali squeaked - Arnav, please don't be mulish - Arnav knew, and so did we, that he cannot fight it anymore. He could never fight his sister's puppy face and kitten talk.

Poor Khushi had nearly given up hope that Arnav would say yes. Then, Nani broke the news that it was Khushi's idea.

Finally, it looked like the women's arguments were weightier than those of the sole man in this lopsided equation.

And finally, the husband, the grandson, and the brother gave in.

Yep...as if he had any other choice...hes so sweet...

3. LOVED Khushi's expressions throughout this sequence.
How deftly she let the seniors in the game handle the play, and trusted them to get Arnav under control.
Good girl. This is why we're proud of you!

Agree

4. Arnav, why does everything have to be a deal for you?
Okay, I'll go but not now, tomorrow. C'mon, I can delay it at least that much.

I'll give in to your say, but right now you gotta do as I say it. I'll still have my say, my way. I'll go but when I wanna go. Right now, I'm home from work and I want to rest in my own house, in my own room, and on my own bed ... er recliner!
Even after he agreed to their say, Arnav didn't exactly look irritated or angry. Though he was initially taken aback by the bizarre request, he wasn't really as put off as one would expect ASR to be. He didn't say it was unthinkable or use some other rude adjective.

hmmm...right, he didnt object, just that he will go when he wants, no one can force him to do anything...but he thinks that, he doesnt know hes already had it hahahah

5. LOVED that usually it was Khushi who closed the door of their room when the two were inside. Today, Arnav closed the door of their room, after Nani and Anjali left.

Good observation :)

6. Khushi was planning further extra love for her hubby, when he gave her a bit of her own medicine, but in his own unique way.

Khushi: Swam...
Arnav: *puts a finger on her lips* I'm going with you tomorrow and you don't call me that!

It has to be done the 'deal' way - I'm doing this for you, you do that for me.
Arnav, I'm certain you'd wanted this private moment for quite some time. Besides, everything else has been tried to get her off the 'Swami' thing. If nothing else, then perhaps, a short and sweet order should work, especially if a finger is placed on her lips.

Khushi was quite electrified with that gesture. She lost her voice, and even the will to react. Arnav had to ask her if she understood before she nodded her head.
And surprise, surprise, the finger-on-her-lips act came so naturally to the husband that he didn't even notice it till she'd nodded and he felt it. Of course by then Arnav was quite electrified. He had to walk out of the room and into his bageecha for some fresh air.

The comfort level is getting more and more 'comfortable'. The control freak is relaxing once again.

Comfortable or UNcomfortable hahahah ..thats the q, getting too good i guess...First the hanky, then the lipstick n now the place where the lipstick came from, so ASR has to make sure it was from there...

7. The next morning goodbyes are so hilarious. Khushi is actually so well-adapted to her new family and her new home that it is a tearful bye-bye.

Arnav's expression was PRICELESS!!

Arnav can hardly believe what he's seeing. He seemed to be torn between wanting to laugh or to react with his trademark 'What the --!'. He seemed quite certain

The poor girl never got a proper vidaai (see/send off following wedding!) from her own family, but here she gets one from the in-laws!

It'll be interesting to see Arnav-Khushi vidaai from GH after their visit ends. How different would Arnav's point of view would be by then, if at all.

Arnav was worried why khushi was upset, i love it when he reacts like that when khushi is upset...so caring...shows 100% hes in lvoe with her...for ever :)))

8. LOVED Arnav's way out of the situation when Khushi states that she'd miss all the family. Arnav is quick to suggest that they needn't and she wouldn't have to miss anyone.

Khushi had to quickly get back to normal so that her plan would not be cancelled.

😆 Arnav is very smart...he knows how to get khushi back to normal...

9. The trip to GH was such a contrast from the last time he'd dropped her there - on her pag phera.

This time Khushi was enjoying her trip home.

Arnav drove quietly, but calmly, as if resigned to acceptance of the situation.
He did not talk or respond much; the fact that he is going with her is more than enough cooperation from his side. If Khushi feels that she is winning this, then she is mistaken. She cannot win from Arnav, unless Arnav gives in himself. If he had not wanted to come, no one in his household could have made him come. For some reason, he is letting her have this fun. Perhaps, it is his way of saying that he isn't enjoying the pain and agony that he has put her through, and in spite of everything, he'd still try to make it as easy for her as he possibly can. Perhaps, he feels that she is in any case going through enough torture; it is okay if she stays for some time with her family.

Hmmm...if he would have refused to go, khushi would have gone without him, maybe not, but then he didnt want to take that chance n be ALONE in his room, without her...This proves that where ever khuhsi be, he will be by her side...awww. maika or somewhere else...

10. Khushi tried to talk and was silenced by his silence.

However, Arnav could rarely get Khushi to stop talking. If he wouldn't talk, she'd resort to a live prediction of what would happen if she didn't talk - all the while talking continuously, making sure that he heard every word, spoken in a way to portray that she was only talking to herself and not wanting him to hear it. This is Khushi!

😆

11. Without you Khushi, there is no go:

During the trip, Arnav does respond to what she's saying; not just in words, but in action. He stops the car with the 'eeehhhnnn' and tells her to get out.
Amazingly Khushi complies with his request of getting out of his car, and at the same time makes him realize he can't go ahead or back without her.

*APPLAUDS*

Yeah, you know that if you do not do as he says, he may ask you to get out. However, if you do get out, then he is stuck too. He can neither return nor make any progress without you. WAY TO GO, Khushi!

And way to go, CVs!! 👏

Arnav has no choice but to tell her to keep sitting and drives on, telling her to put the seat belt back on.

😆 hahahaha..ppls nature desnt change... He has mellowed down from ASR to Arnav, but inside, the shaytan is still there...n im sure he was just remiding her that IM THE Boss.. oh, not boss, her Governor...hahahahhaha

12. Result? Khushi sings! It is the song of her fight, her victory, and her rejoicing!
Arnav does not openly respond to the song. However, it seemed as if he was torn between irritation and a smile.

What the --! What the --! What the --!

😆

13. Khushi reached her fan club. All the community gathered around her and Khushi waves to her fans.

Arnav looked exasperated at Khushi's fan club.

How different from the last time when she came.
She walked home alone.
This time her husband drove her to the place.

She carried her own bags last time; and this time Arnav came and got 'their' bags out.

14. LOVED Arnav's expressions when he saw the number of bags.
Arnav: I'll get the bags. Woah! Are you...! Are we setting up home here?
Khushi: Actually...
Arnav: Yeah! Shut up!

How convenient!

LUCHAAA!!!!!!!!!!

15. LOVED Khushi's gesture of bringing one of Arnav's plants :)
Khushi, you proved it today: Pagal hai, par cute hai!

This is something only and only Khushi could've done. And Arnav knows it!

😳 loved it, cant still see...

16. LOVED Arnav's expression when he saw the plant and heard her reason for it being there.

He could not believe she'd been SO thoughtful. He'd miss his plants! OHMIGOSH! He was about to keep it back, and she took it from him. And ... *drum roll* He gave his beloved plant to Khushi!!

Okay, it looks like nothing, but going by Arnav's standards it is a big thing.
One Small Plant for Khushi, One Giant Leap for Arnav.

I know... i though the same thing, that WOW, hes giving HIS plant to khushi, thats like his life support system...

He seemed to be genuinely touched. After all, whoever thinks of Arnav in such small ways and was attentive to his smallest needs. Arnav is not used to being cared for. He has been a care-giver, just like Khushi has been. These two are not used to receiving care, it comes to them as a surprise when someone show them any care, especially if the care comes from either of them.

Ya, they r perfect for each other...love them both..too much

Arnav, we know you're a bit slow to react, but please react. She did something so cute and loving for you; and you LOVE it.

I found myself saying - Nutter, you ought to kiss her for this!

All it was a surprised smile and a gulp, and let Khushi understand the rest because she does understand your unspoken words, in any case. I was seriously wishing I had a gadget to reach inside the TV screen and whack the side of your head.

hmm... he will do something nice for her...im sure of it, in his own Arnav way :)

17. Khushi was so careful that she even made sure that Arnav would have a place to park his big car.

See Arnav shes so caring...come on appreciate all this now...

Shyam's Soap Opera

1. Now that Arnav was out with Khushi, Anjali took over caring for Arnav's garden.

2. Shyam went around with his plan to sabotage Arnav's secrets.

3. Anjali stops, or rather wets his plan!

4. Shyam calls her Anjali. This is super rare!

5. Shyam's soap is watered...

Fandom: Sabun dhul gaya, sabun dhul gaya,
Anjali mai ki jai ho, sabun dhul gaya
Jeeo Anjali jeeo!!

[The soap washed away, The soap washed away,
Long live Anjali, The soap washed away,
Long live Anjali!!]

7. The creep tries to intimidate Anjali who tries to keep him off, till she is cornered.
Then, the creep scares her with some mud-slinging, does not do it, but takes water hose from her hand and uses it against her.

Poor Anjali is well-watered!!

Imagine, taking revenge on a pregnant wife... who man would do that...ANjali wake up now plzzz

Hmm... Anjali, be careful, dear Dove. Arnav was not around this time to protect you!

The Scales are Tipping

In the episode on 16th April 2012, Khushi stopped called the creep as 'Shyam ji'
In the same episode, Arnav passed the first trust test.

In the episode on 16th April 2012, Arnav told Khushi to keep off his things (wallet, in that instance).
In today's episode, Arnav gave Khushi his plant to take care of.

In the episode on 16th April 2012, Anjali unknowingly enabled entrance to Arnav's room.
In today's episode, Anjali unknowingly delayed Shyam thereby giving time for Bubbly to take away the soap.

In the episode on 16th April 2012, Khushi unknowingly helped the key imprint on the soap.
In today's episode, Bubbly (equivalent of Khushi) took away the soap.

Khushi has changed tactics with Arnav. This is as per the promo which said ' if Ghee could not obtained by a hook, she'd used a spoon. Originally the metaphor uses 'straight finger' vs. a 'hooked finger' - which would mean that if something was not possible by simple means, crooked means could be used. However, Khushi takes in a different tone: She uses 'hooked finger' vs. 'spoon' ' which would mean changing tactics. As fighting with Arnav in many different ways wasn't working, she changed it to using 'extreme love'. This is working.
Arnav is responding to Khushi in a gentler manner.

In today's episode, Shyam's true feelings for Anjali are surfacing for Anjali even in front of Anjali. He called her by name.
Arnav's true feelings for Khushi are surfacing, even in front of Khushi. He is consistently giving in, letting his comfort level show, and getting more at ease with Khushi.

Shyam's actions are working against Anjali; she has chances of doubting his actions off-late. Shyam needs to be careful around Anjali; she is the reason he is respected at RM - in fact, she is the reason he is safe at RM nowadays.
Arnav has chances of making up to his family and even to the Guptas now.

Others

1. Garima was so super please with her arrangement of dining area chairs and Buaji decided to fix a cooler after 5 years of no use.
LOVED how this family is excited to prepare for their son-in-law's first visit
LOVED how the community got together to welcome her
LOVED how Happy ji emptied his garage to let Arnav's car to be parked here. The man closed his business down for a few days.

Arnav means a lot to this family. Hope he sees it.

2. Chheh foot ka aadmi hai, chat uncho karo to baat hai.
[The man's six foot tall, raise the ceiling if you will!]

The implication may have been that Arnav is a rich & powerful man. Just a rearrangement of existing household would not be enough. If it were possible, they would need to raise their standard of living.

ROFL! LOVED you Buaji! Missed you!!

Ur right, they r too good, n so is khushi, Arnav needs to be surrounded by good ppl to recognise goodness, to him everyhtings fake n can be bought, so this will be a good change n a lesson for him, i hope...

2. Toofan ke aane ko chetawani ho
[warning of the storm]

Probably, you are right, Bua ji. Khushi by herself is enough to cause a storm - with Arnav, she is disastrous!

😆😆 U n Buajee said it... Double touble in a china shop...May we all have good time n enjoy on their expense hahahah

3. Jitta mana karoge, utta khilaenge
Mami Jaan: Your OTT advice to Arnav, may come in handy as per our friendly neighborhood Tagline!

4. Arnav had a shave and got a look closer to how he looked looong back!

5. I cannot understand, yet again, that Shyam got the soap imprint on the previous morning. He let one whole day go by with the soap in his hand. The next morning after Arnav has left with Khushi, he decides to look seriously worried that he needs to get the key done ASAP.

Creep, ASAP means you should have taken the soap to the keymaker already. You wasted one WHOLE day!

It is creeps like you who delay a perfectly going story.
Shame on you!
Woe be unto you! (Whatever that is!)

I was thinking the same thing, why did he waste so much time, Gr8 minds think alike, but then shyam not gr8 mind na, small ppl think small n about others lol, thats shayam..a total jerk, i still cant understand how he ended up marrying Anjali?

6. Finally Bubbly got something to do and Akash would leave for office.

Thank u Bubbly for taking the soap, now plz use it ASAp so the creep cant hurt ASR or khushi :)

7. The Piano version of Rabba vey sounded really really really nice!!
(Right when Arnav has the plant in his hand)

Precap

When last seen it was dancing as quietly as possible on 'What the --! What the --! What the --!'

Arnav missed seeing it.

New Tagline

Arnav has ordered a meal from a five-star hotel. Would Buaji be able to pay the bill?

Dear Tagline, there are times when even you are allowed to use your brains - whatever little of it you have! Now, stop asking stupid questions and empty your pockets. C'mon Fandom, empty your pockets. We cannot let the Guptas down in front of their rich and famour Damaad.
Though, I'm kinda sure Arnav would pay himself. Hopefully, no one gets embarrassed.

Excellent ana, thanks for pm, mines in thin black :)))
