Rey was waiting for her to come out. He decided to wait for five minutes more. When she still didn't come out, he knocked on the door. One thing he knew for sure, she was the only one in the whole place other than him. She couldn't be held back by someone.

He forwarded his hand to turn the knob when she opened it from inside and stepped out, making him take a step back. Both smiled awkwardly at the situation and started walking silently.

Kriya broke the silence, "You wanted to see me?"

Putting his hands in him front jeans pocket, he walked and spoke, "Yes' we were talking in the morning before'" his voice trailed off and she understood what he was hinting at. She nodded her head and didn't stop.

She spoke after they walked a couple of steps out in the open parking lot, "Rey' you have nothing to feel guilty of. I don't regret anything that happened'" She stressed on the word don't as she looking straight in his eyes, taking a brief pause in steps so as to mark the importance of her words and to avoid running into anything.

He understood that part, though he sensed a 'but' coming. "But?" he asked.

She inhaled deeply before continuing. "But I need time. Don't misunderstand me' I've thought a lot and you should know that. I've always loved you' it was you who didn't want to listen to me. What's done is done but I can't forget anything that easily. Honestly, I don't have the strength to pretend anymore. I'm hurt'very hurt. Not going to hide that from anyone but you need to know too'"

This time, he was understanding completely. He spoke up taking her hand in his, "You don't have to anymore. What I did was completely wrong and you have full right to be mad at me. You have the right to punish me. My jealousy came in the way' After you left, I realized how wrong I was. It was my fault to doubt you. Punish me for that if you like, but please' don't punish us."

She replied instantly shaking her head, "I'm not. I'm not punishing us. It's hard to stay away from you too. Every day after we met again, I've stopped myself. It's not about us right now. It's about trust. My trust upon has been questioned. It's the trust that I have lost. It's going to take time to rebuild." She smiled and continued, "And I know out love for each other will be enough to bring that back, right?"

He blinked with and answer. Before he realized, he had said it. "I love you."

It was a soft and a genuine response to say he understood it all. He was ready to take one step at a time. After the nights' event, it would be ever more hard to hold themselves back. Yet, both of them knew it had to be done. She put a soft hand on his check and mouthed the words, "I love you too." No voice escaped her throat, just a bare mouthed-word.

It was enough to last them for eternity if it had to. At least, both of them knew for sure that their love was there with them. Just a matter of time.

With this, season one ends. A week later, I'll start with season 2 of this. Most probably start with an intro and a prologue. Basically, I'll be like I'm starting a whole new FF but the difference will be that it'll continue from where I leave off here. Make sense? 😛

'Cuz apparently, me doing all the work and figuring out whom to keep and not to keep from the likes isn't working out as one time, some like and the other time, they completely disappear.
