This is the story of a girl name Geet who wants nothing much but mere attention from the one person she loved since childhood. The same person that doesn't even know that she exists.

Hey guys,

So I decided to update chapter one for being so patient and also for showing so much interest in this fan fic...You guys know I CAN'T be tooo mean with you guys! Consider this as my little pressent for you guys! 😳😳

Opposite World

Chapter 1

"ha ha ha" Laughter was heard from all around her...she looked around as she sat on the floor with tears covered in dirt while everyone pointed and laughed at her. She tried getting up ignoring them but couldn't which caused another fit of laughter from everyone.

A young girl came running toward the girl and helped her stand up. She looks at everyone with anger but still that didn't help everyone to stop laughing. She guided the girl toward the bathroom, as soon as the bathroom door closed the girl broke into tears.

That girl sitting on the floor was none other than Geet Handa. She attends Delhi University finishing up her last semester in business accounting. She never had many friends nor admirers because of how she looked. No one wanted to talk to her or go near her..they would give her disgusting look and walk away.

She knew they would be talking about her back which seemed to be everyone's favorite pass time in the campus. Her only savior who stood in front of her was Meera, she didn't know what to call Meera her one and only friend. Someone who didn't care about her look but liked her for who she was from the inside.

No one not even her family members looked at her the way Meera did. No one understood her like Meera.

"Ssshhh its okay Geet...you can't let them put you down like that...you have to be strong"

Geet: I know but (she begins to cry again) is it my fault that I am fat? Is it a crime to be fat?

Meera hugs her again..what can she say to make her feel better? In today's time and generation being slightly overweight is considered fat and automatically becomes the main target of being teased around by everyone. Being skinny was considered "normal" no matter how many health problems that person might have but as long as she was skinny it doesn't matter. Girls go to all extremes to become skinny in order to fit into the society and be accepted by everyone.

To her, Geet was not fat just because she is 180 pounds doesn't make her any lesser person. She has a heart of gold and never thought of anyone badly even of those that makes fun of her on daily basis. She was beautiful in her own way and it was about time that she realizes it. Meera makes her drink some water and waits for her to calm down. Occasionally she would pat her back to calm her down...

Meera: Are you okay now? (She nodes her head) Good...

Geet: I don't know what to do...I don't want to come here anymore

Meera: Ohh so you are going to give up like this? Geet you have to not let others hurt you like this. You have to be strong and face them and besides (she puts her arm around her shoulder) if you leave then who will look at him? (she winks at her..Geet blushes and looks down) awww look at your face...you know you can't leave even if you want to...the only reason you are here is because of him...

Geet: what is the point? Its not he notices me anyway...he doesn't even know I exist

Meera: And since this matters you? You have been in love with him since god knows when...the only reason you joined this college is because of him. You know everything about him, where he lives, what he does and what he likes or dislikes. You just have to give it a chance..who knows maybe your luck will change and he will finally notice you (she winks and smiles at her)

Geet: I guess you are right

Meera: No I am right...come lets go to our next class

As soon as they left, a girl from the bathroom came out smirking..."So this cow likes someone in school huh...this should be fun" She laughs as she texts someone

Note:

I know this was short but this is what I could think of right now

On the side note:

I do not in any way shape or form mean to offend anyone! This was just a random idea that came to my head and thought it would be cool to write something different about two people who are polar opposite in everything even looks! How this will affect them, how two "opposite" people fall in love (if they ever do) come together...

So that being said I really hope you guys like this concept!😳
