@Anu, wonderful post, loved reading it, here is my 🤗 I agree with you, you definitely know how I feel, I too thought it sucked. They decided to show the bonding, understanding, no tolerance for cheating but the plot and execution was way below par. I could not believe the same writers gave us episodes like Diwali and Teri-Meri, now the same writers are dishing out nonsense. Every episode looks disjointed and there is comedy in between hate track, I really don't know what to make of it. I hope they do something about and get the show back in order ASAP.

Lol!
Cv's have lost the script...

I am supposed to believe that there was no background check on previous deals, this was the first time that they were meeting and that the securities officer would show up on a phone call. Am I in the freaking twilight zone? All this dumbass Khushi CID officer giri to what - to show that ASR needs her, and she saves the day, and then throw in that 1 minute that had meaning. He already needs her, she has saved his butt on a number of occasions

@ Bold This is soo true! Cv's had lost it long time back!

Hmmm...What's the point? Why are they dragging so much?...
CV's ought to answer us...

I feel they are wasting BS and SI' s talent these days...

You know what - it is a discussion forum. Discuss why I shouldn't complain but don't tell me I don't have a right to.

Agree with you completely, so disappointed with the episode today. Yes, that they cannot show dhamakedaar episodes everyday due to this being a daily soap, but for heaven's sake don't take away the essence of characters like this!!
Utterly unbelievable and ridiculous.

I completely second your thoughts. To say I am shocked to see such a ludicrous episode would be putting it mildly.

I felt the same !
I didnt like the episode at all and looking at the precap - its going to be the same tomorrow..
It seems like 4Lions have no idea how to proceed with the story after Shyam's truth - so they are dragging this as much as possible..
Total filler episode !

I totally understand your point of view... and agree.

From what I have observed, ever since Lavanya's exit, there has not been rhyme nor reason for the story, other than in the loosest sense of the word.

If one goes back and views the episodes from the beginning of the show, it is quite clear that the flavor of the show is completely different now.
We were promised pudding and we got thin broth instead.

There was such a wonderful build up of all characters up to mid-December, inclusive of the Pruhkaash brothers.
Lavanya's exit was one of the most graceful ones I have had the pleasure of viewing.

Post that, the writers seemed to have had a lobotomy.

From Khushi's mime actions when she and Arnav decide to stop talking to each other, to the New Year's Eve fiasco, to the latest saving the supposedly uber-smart businessmen from a couple of street-level crooks, there has only been steady downward curve to the graph of the show.

All the characters, including Khushi and Arnav, have seen a slow assassination at the hands of the writers since December mid-week and the wounds are still bleeding. From an impetuous but well-meaning Khushi, we see a childish, bratty, and frankly intolerable Khushi. From an austere but smart Arnav, we see a snarling yet seemingly clueless (even about business matters) Arnav.

Sure, one might say that the entire Sungeet episodes, both leading up to and post, were romantic and pleased the audience.

However, when I view it again, I find that Arnav made an abrupt about-face from still not really liking her (see New Year's episode and his comments to NK and Aakaash) to the sudden challenges for the Sungeet. There was no real reason given for his change of heart, but we viewers were happy so we did not delve too deeply into the reasons thereof.

It was definitely an important aspect of the story and it had to take place before the misunderstanding track. Hence, the entire lovey-dovey scenes were no more than a couple of weeks worth. I discount the final week because the promo for the misunderstanding had already been aired and that soured the entire week's worth of episodes for me, no matter how much Arnav and Khushi gazed at each other until they were cross-eyed.

If you notice, all subsequent episodes since Lavanya's exit show a brief glimmer of the gray cells of the writers struggling to come to fore - eg. Sungeet and love-realization, Holi, and some other other ten second scenes here and there - but they are beaten down by the haze of 'vahu' show writers' influence... the quality and the strength of the story is gone.

Viewers can take only so much of this kind of storyline before they leave. The other show by 4 Lions PH was relatively good up to the marriage. After that, it was a wasted effort to even switch on the TV for it, let alone record it to view it again later. I don't even want to mention the relatives that came afterwards (Shudder).

Unfortunately, after this second show by 4 Lions, I am beginning to think this may be a pattern for them: Hook the viewers with a great love story and strong leads, then when they are riding high and it is building up to a crescendo, drop them and leave them floundering.
A word of warning to 4 Lions PH: Such a crescendo comes only once, and any build up after that is never quite so high or the viewer (if any are left) not so enthralled.

Can IPKKND be salvaged?
Not with such lobotomized writers.

Yes, that they have realised their lead actors popularity and may be giving themselves a lazy break. But they cannot bank on the popularity for long!!
