Chapter 3 : The Bitter Truth '

I wish i could have all of these bad things to say about you. You broke my heart, but i still love you. </3

Everyone began thinking about it except for Vicky who knew what the matter exactly was about.

Without much luck to their discussion, they all departed.

At Sharon's home '

Sharon wore her night suit ( imagine shorts and a tank top aur any tee ) and jumped on to her bed. She was a little too much confused today. All she could think about was Swayam.

Sharon : Yeh kya ho raha hai mujhe ? Kyun uska pain mujhse dekha nahi jaa raha. Kyun aaj sab ke saamne maine uski side li. Leave all that. Ussey bhi important baat toh yeh hai ki main ' out of all the people, main Kria ke jaane se itna effected kyun hun ? Kyun mujhe aisa lag raha hai ki I've lost someone close to my heart. I don't know what's happening to me. But I'm sure ki agar main Kria se nahi mili, toh main paagal ho jaungi. Oh gosh, what am I thinking ? Uss Kripa ke milne ya na milne se mujhe kya farak padega ? Common Sharon, get a grip and concentrate. Waise bhi kal Goa jaa rahe hai so chill and sleep now.

She switched off the lights and went to sleep.

( P.S. ' I'll show a little bit of journey and am not going to show Swayam's and Rey's condition. I'll directly start from the next morning. Sorry, if anyone was expecting it, but the truth is I can't write this rona dhona anymore. So, I'll begin with morning. And yeah, I'll come back to Swayam's point of view now. )

In The Morning '

I was asleep when my iPhone beeped. I was confused. Who would message this early in the morning that too on this cell ?

Swayam : Yeh number toh sirf Kria aur Rey ko pata hai, ya fir meri family ko. God !! Pata nahi kaun hai itni subah subah !

Swayam rubbed his eyes and moved his hand on the side table, searching for his phone. He saw the sender's name and sighed. He got up and read the text.

Rey : Pick me up. We're going together.

Swayam sighed again but got up and got ready. He didn't have his breakfast and went to Rey's home without much delay. He found him waiting outside the main gate, his bags on the rood by his side. He quickly got out and helped Rey arranging his bags in the trunk of his car. They both got in and Swayam began driving.

Swayam : So .. ?

Rey : So ??

Swayam : *sigh* What brought this on ?

Rey shrugged.

Rey : Uh, kal maine sab ke saamne kya kya bol diya. Sab ko akele face nahi kar sakta.

Swayam ( nodding ) : I understand.

He looked up at Rey and saw him looking at something with distant eyes.

Swayam : Kahaan kho gaya ?

Rey ( hoarsely ) : Yaad hai hum last time Goa kab gaye the.

And saying this both he and Swayam went into the past.

Flashback :

The last time they went to Goa. RDX and princi ka decision. To bring them together. Bus mein suddenly girls v/s boys start hona. Sharon aur Kria ka saath kaam karna. Unka girls ke plan ko chup ke se pata karna. Girls ka full on tashan mein entry lena. Who sweet and seducing 'hi boys'. Woh unka unhein seduce karna. Fir pool mein girna. Ek doosre mein khona. Won long walk par jaana. SwaRon ka boat scene aur Kriyaansh ka garden ( or whatever pathway it was ) scene. Apne bare mein jhoothi information dena. Girls ka gussa hone. Kriyaansh ka 'first dance'. Raat ko fir se girls v/s boys ka drama. Karan sir ki entry. Who look look hawa hawa. Then the dance. Ladkiyoin ka roothna. Back to Mumbai and then boys ka koo koo koo koo.. and girls ka finally maan jaana.

Swayam ( pulling Rey out of his thoughts ) : Kya time than a who. Who trip toh zindagi bhar yaad rahega.

Rey : Haan. Last time toh woh bhi thi saath.

And he again becomes sad.

Swayam ( changing topic ) : Acha yar, yeh bata kya socha hai performance ke bare mein.

Rey : Tu hi bata de. I'm sure tune kuch soch liya hoga.

Swayam ( sighing ) : Kahaan yar. Humaara toh har baar Kriya hi sochti hai.

And as soon as he let the words out he regretted them. Rey's expressions changed again. But he was lucky, they soon reached the college. They quickly got out of the car along with their luggage. They immediately got into the bus, parked there.

Swayam : Dekh lia Kria, kitna affect karti ho tum humaari lives ko. Kyun chali gayi ho tum ? Ek maheena ho chukka hai. Almost roz tumse baat ho jaati hai, par tab bhi aisa hi lagta hai jaise ki ek saal ho gaya tumse mile. Tum bhi ab who kria nahi rahi jisse main jaanta tha. Mujhe pata hai, tumhaari bhi condition aisi hi hai, but still. Come back Kria, come back. We need you. Rey needs you.

As they got into the bus, Swayam got lost in his Sharon. Rey noticed this. He was right behind Swayam. He quietly whispered in his ears.

Rey : Diagonally baith ja, best hai. ( I personally loved the original dialogue. I changed it thoda ' sa. )

Swayam who was lost in his lady love just nodded and sat down but Rey went again back into the past.

*Flashback*

Rey tells Swayam to sit diagonally for best view of Sharon and he himself sits diagonally of *her*

*Flashback ends*

Rey : Kyun aayi tum meri zindagi mein jab tumhein jaana hi tha. Kyun kiya aisa tumne mere saath ? I hate you baat ' Kria Ghai, I hate you. Hate , hate ? Sach mein ? Kisse jhooth bol raha hai tu ? Sach toh yahi hai ki joh kuch bhi hua, uske baad bhi you still love her. I love you and I don't know how can I help it. Bhagwaan main hi kyun ? Kya bigada tha maine kissi ka ?

He sits on the seat right behind the driver away from each other. Everyone else also boarded the bus and took their seats. Sharon and Swayam were lost in each other's world. Rey was listening to music on his iPod and suddenly the song In Lamhoin Ke Daaman Mein began playing reminding him of 'the day'. He shut his eyes tight blocking the memories for coming back again and took the earphones out of his ears.

Rey : Kya karun kuch samajh nahi aa raha. Ro ' main nahi sakta. Music bhi sunne ka man nahi karta. Suntan hun toh fir tumhaari yaad aa jaati hai. Kuch na karun, toh tumhaare khayal hi dimag mein rehte hain. Karun toh kya karun.

They all reached Goa soon. They all left for their rooms and freshened up. Swayam was just moving towards their rehearsal area when his phone ringed. He saw the caller Id and a huge smile spread on his face. It was none other than his very best friend Kria. ( I told you in the beginning only that they both were in touch. ) He answered the call at once.

Kria : Hey.

Swayam : Heya cutie ! Kaisi hai ? ( Cutie is their code word for Kria taaki auroin ko pata na chalein. )

Kria : Main toh theek hun, *sigh* tum batao. Goa pahuch gaye ? How was the journey ? Abhi kya kar rahe ho ? Baaki sab kahaan hain. Kya kar rahe hain ? Bolo Swayam !

Swayam : Nahi. Pehle tu hi bol le. Mere paas abhi bahut time hai.

By now he has reached the all of them.

Kria : Sorry.

Someone calls Swayam. Swayam points to his phone and said that he'll join them in some time.

Kria : Kya hua ?

Swayam : Kuch nahi bas woh Neha practice ke liye bula rahi thi.

Kria : Oh toh tum jao, hum baad mein baat kar leinge.

Swayam : No ways. I'll join them later. Abhi let's talk.

Kria : Will you do me a favour ?

Swayam : Of course yar, bol.

Kria : Promise karo pehle ki you will do it.v

Swayam : Haan haan cutie, tu bol.

Kria : Please jaake practice kar lo. But don't cut the phone and put it on speaker, please.

Swayam : Are you out of your mind Cuite ? Sab ko pata chal jaayega.

Kria : Nahi chalega. I promise, main zara sib hi awaaz nahi nikalungi. Please.

Swayam : Nahi, but ..

Kria : Tumne promise kiya tha.

Swayam : Fine, but no sounds on your side ?

Kria : Deal !

Swayam sighed, but obediently put the phone on speaker and went towards the other.

Neha : Swayam let's start dance doing.

Swayam : Hum log kaunsa form kar rahe hain ?

Neha : We doing contemporary with some ballroom dancing.

Swayam : That means we have to be in pairs.

Vishakha : Obviously dude. It's me ' Bharat, Vicky ' Neha, Amar ' Rinni, Simmi ' Nilesh, Rey ' Sharon and You ' Preeti.

Kria's heart skipped a beat at Rey's name and she gasped. Swayam heard it clearly and felt bad for her.

Swayam : I don't think I can dance. Um, guys, I think I'm out for this time.

Vishakha : Common dude. We know for whom you are doing this. Just stop it. She's gone and she's not coming back.

Neha : Correct speaking Vishakha. That girl not caring about us, why we thinking about her. Wasting not your time on her.

Hearing this Kria began to cry. Swayam heard it and now couldn't control himself.

Vishakha : Yeah dude, forget '

Swayam cut her off.

Swayam : Enough !! It's enough guys. Stop speaking like this about her.

Vishakha : What happened dude. It's the truth.

Swayam : Oh, please. Give me a break. Jaante hi kya ho tum truth ? Main batata hun ..

Now Kria was tensed, she spoke up.

Kria : Swayam No !

Everyone froze at her voice. Specially Rey.

Rey ( shocked ) : Kria ?

Vishakha : Swayam tum Kria se baat '

Swayam took out the phone from his pocket.

Swayam : Kria I can't. It's time.

Kria : Swayam, please don't do this.

Swayam : Cutie please. Stop it. Shut up now.

Swayam ( to others ) : Jis Kria ke baare mein tum itna bol rahe ho na, jaante bhi ho who kyun gayi hai, aise hum sab ko chodkar ?

Kria : Swayam please, chup ho jaaye. For God sake.

Swayam ( shouting ) : Kria maine kaha, bilkul chup. And you all, listen to me. Elems ke ek din pehle Kria ki mom ko uske dance aur *love* ( Rey went numb at this one. ) ke baare mein pata chal gaya tha. Unhoine usko dance karne se mana kar diya and usko uske room mein lock kar dia. Isiliye agle din who late thi.

Kria ( crying now ) : Swayam, I don't believe this. Tumne mujhe promise kiya tha.

Swayam : Kria they all should know. And you don't feel bad for these losers. They don't deserve you.

Kria : Main tumse baad mein baat karungi.

Saying this she cut the call.

Vishakha : What the hell dude ? What do you mean we don't deserve her ? In fact, she doesn't deserve us.

Swayam ( angrily ) : Shut up Vishakha. So, then hum sab uske ghar gaye. Tab uski mom ne hum sabse jhooth bola ki use food poidioning hai. Baat toh yeh thi ki who Kria ko dance karte hue nahi dekhna chahti thi. But fir tum logoin ko dekhkar who maan gayi. But unhoine uske aagey do conditions rakh di. Aur who yeh thi ki who iss performance ke baad dance aur apne *love* se saare rishte todh degi. And uss ladki ne, tum sab ke liye, apne dream aur life ko chod dia. And here you are blaming her. ( He spat these words at them. )

All of them were shocked.

Rey ( coming forward ) : Matlab baatcutter ne mujhse who sab ..

Swayam : Jhooth kaha tha.

Rey : But kyun ?? Aur tujhe kaise pata ?

Swayam : Uss din Kria ne mujhe phone kia aur who bahut ro rahi thi. She asked me if she could come up. When she did, she told me everything. Upar se mujhse ek promise le liya ki main kissi ko sach nahi bataunga. Specially tujhe. Woh the mere meri best friend ke saath bitaye last moments.

Tears ran down his cheeks. Everyone was still shocked but listening to ReYam's conversation with full attention.

Rey : But baatcutter ne mujhe sach bataya kyun nahi ?

Swayam : Yeh letter padh lo. Usne diya tha ki agar galti se bhi kissi din tumhein sach pata chal jaaye toh main tumhein de dun. Tumhein apne saare questions ke jawaab mil jaayeinge.

Rey ( taking the letter ) : Iska matlab woh ..

Swayam : Tumse nafrat nahi pyaar karti hai.

Everyone's mouth flew open and Rey fell on the ground. He was crying badly. He controlled himself, opened the letter and began reading it out loud.

Main jaanti hun ki abhi aapko yakeen nahi ho raha hoga, but sach toh yahi hai ki I love you Reyaansh Singhania. Yeh Romaira ko Chabilal se kab pyaar ho gaya, ussey khud pata nahi chala. Who dance fest ka last day, meri zindagi ka best day tha aur main ussey humesha yaad rakhungi. Rey meri bhi ek majboori thi. Mom ko aapke aur mere baare mein sab kuch pata chal gaya tha. Saath hi unhein mere dance ke baare mein bhi sab kuch pata chal gaya tha. Unhoine mujhse kaha ya toh main dostoin ke saath perform karun, ya fir aapke saath rahun aur dance karun. Rey maine aapse pehle apne dostoin ko chuna kyunki mera humesha se vishvaas raha hai ki joh apne dostoin ko bhool jaaye who kissi aur ko kya yaad rakhega. Rey I'm really sorry ki maine aapke badle dostoin ko chuna. But agar aap meri jagah hote, toh I'm sure ki aap bhi apne dostoin ko hi chunte.

Main jaanti hun ki ab aapke dil mein yeh sawaal hoga ki kya main aapko itna trust nahi karti thi ki maine aapko ' apni life ko sach nahi bataya. Well, uske peeche bhi ek reason hai. Rey main kuch nahi keh sakti ki main kabhi Mumbai waapas aaungi bhi ya nahi. Main sirf itna jaanti thi ki mujhe yahaan se jaana hai. Agar main aapko sach bata deti, toh aap humesha mujhse pyaar karte rehte, aur mujhe kabhi nahi bhula pata. Agar aisa hota toh aap apni life mein move on nahi kar paate. Isiliye uss raat ko maine aapse jhooth bola. Maine jaan moochlar who sab kaha taaki aap mujhse nafrat karne lag jaayo. Itni nafrat ki aap mujhe bhula dena chaho. Taaki aap mujhe peeche chodkar, aagey bach sako.

Main universeji se yeh hi pray karti hun ki aapko kabhi bhi sach ka pata na chale aur aap kabhi bhi yeh letter na padho. Agar aapne padh liya toh aapke liye aagey badhna mushkil ho jaayega. Last mein main bas itna hi kahungi ki Rey main aapse nafrat nahi par bahut pyaar karti hun. Main pray karti hun ki aapki life mein koi aur aa jaaye joh aapko mujhse bhi jyada pyaar kare aur meri yaadein mita de. But aap yeh yaad rakhna ki mere dil mein aapki jagah koi nahi le sakta. Main universeji se pray karti hun ki bas ek baar aura apse milvaein aur tab main aapse sorry bol paun.

As soon as he finished reading the letter, he began crying out loud.

Kyun ? *snif* Please, baatcutter please, *snif* come back. Please.

Swayam went ahead and hugged him tight. He cried his heart out while on the other hand Neha and Vishakha broke down.

Vishakha : How stupid we are ! How could we even doubt her ? Usne humaare liye itna bada sacrifice kiya aur hum usko hi bura bhala keh rahe the. What's this happening ?

And she gave up. She hugged Bharat tight and began crying. Bharat consoled her and everyone was shocked on seeing that.

Neha : Correct saying you were Swayam. We not deserving Kria. She is too good for us. We not good. Very bad. I hate myself.

Vicky quickly hugged her and started consoling her.

Sharon went forward and kept her hand on Rey's shoulder ?

Sharon : Rey what's all this ?

Vicky : Yeah. Mujhe yeh toh pata tha ki you love her but who bhi ?

Rey : Guys, we were together ?

Sharon stayed calm while Nilesh, Simmi, Rinni, Neha, Vishakha, Bharat and Amar gasped, shocked.

Vicky : Aur tune mujhe nahi bataya.

Rey : Kria nahi chahti thi ki hum kissi ko batayein. Isliye sirf Swayam ko pata tha.

Sharon just nodded and whispered to Rey.

Sharon : Your choice was absolutely correct. You chose the best girl, and I'm so proud of you. Kria is the best for you. Who tumse pyaar karti hai aur tumhaare status se nahi. And now, it's time you live for her. Rey Kria kya chahti thi ? Yeh hi na ki tum khushi se raho ?

Rey : But main kissi aur ke saath nahi ..

Sharon : Exactly Rey. But you can live happily with your friends. With us. And keep Kria in your heart forever. And believe me, God tumhein fir se reunite kar deinge. Don't lose hope Rey, but just buck up.

Swayam so happy seeing Sharon speaking like this.

Swayam : Everyone come here.

They all came there.

Swayam : Guys, Kria always wanted that we have no dazzler weakling thing between us. Can we be with her ?

Sharon : Of coz .

Swayam : So, guys it's time we show Kria how much we love her. She brough us ( indicating the wekling dance team ) together giving us to each other. She began the dance team and made us dream. She loved Rey and thought for his best. So it's time we save her dil dosti and dance and prove to her that we all love her. So are you all with me ?

Everyone : Yes !!

Swayam : So, it's time for ..

Everyone : Dil, dosti and dance.

And they all hooted back with the Louisan spirit and with Kria also with them in each other's thoughts.
