Chapter 24

Geet and Maan walked in the house laughing at their silliness. They couldn't get over the happiness they were feeling. Pari came and said, "Where were you?! We've been waiting a long time. Come on. Party time."

She pulled her away from Maan and he giggled watching her being pulled to the middle of the floor.

She danced freely with Pari, Ana, Emma, Vicky and Dan around her. once, she looked around the crowd to try and spot Maan. He wouldn't come when she motioned him to. He shook his head. The next time she thought of convincing him, he wasn't there. She looked around the find him.

Just then, a spot light come on to the corner of the room and the music started. She looked towards it but found no one. In a blink of an eye, a voice whispered in her ear.

Teri meri teri meri kahaani

She turned to see him behind her and she smiled. He said the next verse while motioning her to join in.

Ek daastan nayi puraani

She walked back, away from him, singing the rest:

Chori chori ye kahaani chali hai
Thehri thi jo tere aa jane tak

The crowd at her place cheered them on and the roof was set on fire! She said the verse thinking about how her life abruptly turned positive with their chats. No one knew about it, but it changed her for the best.

Ek daastan nayi puraani
Chori chori ye kahaani chali hai
Thehri thi jo tere aa jane tak

He picked up the next verse. Even his life had changed the same way as hers. Slowly, she became the reason he started looking for the next day and the day after.

Tu hi jeene ka hai bahana, and I
Don't know why
But I feel good

Geet sang the next. Her journey of life from being the bearer to being the giver came to her as she danced alongside him.

He twirled her and brought her close to him. Instantly, her hands landed on his chest and they did a couple dance step. The rest of the people around them didn't matter to them anymore. They were just lost in each other's eyes. They still continued moving their feet and hands, but their soul were somewhere else finding peace amongst themselves.

Har kahin raahein nayi nayi
Meri raahein tujhe aake
Tujh pe hi tham gayee

It was as if he started reliving when he met her and now, it's giving a happy ending on her only. Both waltzed and danced around meaning each and every word they said. It was a song but it fit their situation perfectly.

Manzil ban gayee

Yeh raastein likhtey jaye bas

With the other in their life, they have changed so much that they are leaving behind all the negative things in their life. All they know is that they have never been any matter.

Intentionally, Maan had turned on the song to let Geet know that he loved her more than anything. He was hers and she was only his.

This story that began with random finding on the popular 'Facebook' has turned into something more real. It's now a part of them and nothing can change that.

She buried her head in his chest and let him move her around the dance floor as they danced slowly to the beats. Everyone could see the love in their eyes and it was a magical moment when a story that began through online world turned into reality.

Roshni aisi mili
Raat ka chehra khila yahan

Andhero se gile thhe jo
Maaf woh ho gaya
Thhe jo maile sheeshein dil ke
Saaf woh ho gaye

Their feelings were crystal clear to themselves and everyone. From the crowd, two elderly people watched then. Geet's mom and Maan's dadi. They were more than happy to see their children deeply in love with each other. What could have been better to see that? Their friendship turning into relationship. Can there be anything better? Not wanting to ruin anything, they left the room to do their own things. Let the youngsters enjoy, nay?

Both completed the song with utmost emotions in their eyes and voice. They now knew exactly what was missing in their lives. Their stories have met. At last and now forever. Their souls meeting their better half.

With this, Maan kissed her on her lips. Passionately. At first, not sure if he should take this step. But when she closed her eyes giving him the permission, he knew this right then was the perfect thing. They forgot the cheering around them. The song ended.

After an intense kiss, Geet buried her head and hugged him to prevent him from seeing her red, blushing face. He was well aware of it though. He could sense each of her feelings. They stayed that way for as long as they could remember. The night danced away as other joined surrounding them. They were no longer the main attraction and both swayed the night away.
