Hey People!
I request everyone to please read the whole topic, before posting your views.
Any guesses why have I opened this thread?
Yup, for CM rankings. But, I am not here to tell you how to increase them, or how to come on top 10. Today I am gonna write something which is extremely different from what I have been telling since long.
If some of you might have noticed, these days I do not comment on articles more than once, neither do I comment on profiles. If you think I do not do so because I have this stupid attitude, or if I am not interested in naksh, or if I dont like Hina Karan, or whatever, I am sorry, you are wrong.
I was, I still am and will always remain a naksh fan. Just by changing a stupid dp or siggy dabba or avi, my love for naksh wont reduce. But anyways, I am not here to even for this. I am here to share with you all a small incident that changed my view, my attitude towards the CM ranks, and that too.. for better.
These days, I talk with some senior members a lot. Some people know about this, most of you don't. But thats a different issue. Now, we talk about random things.. we might talk anything under the sun. Sometimes we even talk IF. Once when I was talking to my friend, I exclaimed, "Di, I am so sad.. YRKKH is at 17 on IF."
One sentence that returned to me, "Awww Stuti, do you really care?"
We changed the topic soon after, but this line remained in my head "Stuti, do you really care?"
I started thinking.. My friend was right..! Why should I care? Its just a rank.
IF mein ranking system was started to increase activity, NOT to create fights!
Since then I decided, I will stay indifferent. I do not think YRKKH needs to do well on any ranking system. It is in top 5 in TRPs! Doesn't that in itself proove that YRKKh rocks? Do we need anything else to prove YRKKH's worth? I really do not think so.
We know some points which can be used to increase the CM rankings. But I won't search for more now. And neither will I make any post to increase the forum activity. We all are here to enjoy, laugh, do fun! Not to fight with others in a run to come first, when we all know (at some corner of our minds) that we cant win the race.
The other day, I was talking to my fellow CC.. told her about how we all are making the forum pink..
You wanna the chat?
She said: "Wow! Thats so cool.. I will try it for my forums some day!"
I: "Lol.. go ahead with it! Though it wont be of any use to you!
She: "Why? whats the use of making threads pink😲 Stuti you better reply fast 😳"
I: Nm.. increases CM rankings!
I don't remember the further chat, but could you feel the enthusiasm in her reply? "Wow.. thats cool"!!
I can't see this enthusiasm on our forum any longer! Why do we make threads pink? why do we comment every now and then?
Answer: to increase CM rankings!
Can anyone tell me the last time when you created the post coz you felt like creating it, and NOT to increase CM ranking?
Can anyone tell me the last time they read a post by an active member which did not state that it was made to increase forum activity?
Can anyone tell me the last time they had actual fun on a thread, which was not a gup shup thread or CC?
My point is, when we know something increases our ranks, we tend to achieve that thing, even if it doesnt satisfy us. We just make the thread 25 comments mechanically. Where is the fun? IF is a discussion board, a place which is all about fun.. not for work!
I guess everyone is getting me. The base of my argument is, you also shud try and stay indifferent. YRKKH is at 1 or at 21.. Fun is important. Love is important. Nothing else shud matter to you.
I had so much in my mind when I thought I would make the post. But I forgot most of it. Sorry for that.
I would like to end my bhashan retelling that,
YRKKH, with all thy faults, I love thee still😃
