Arnav follows the stretcher from a fair distance when she is being taken into emergency room. As Arnav spots the doctor, runs to him, and says "Doctor, Accident situation, please save her" …doctor's eyes widen, not shocked but surprised…The doctor knew the mighty ASR, Who didn't? And he had heard him say 'Please' for the first time..The doctor immediately went into the operating theatre, leaving Arnav outside. Leaning on the wall next to the OT, Arnav's eyes were now sore, red and empty. No Khushi in them, nothing! Aman came after parking the car and sees Arnav's hands bleeding and legs bruised from where the trousers are torn.

Aman walks up to Arnav

Aman: Sir, you should get yourself checked up too. You need bandages too.

Arnav: Aman, please don't disturb me, I am fine.

Nurse comes: Mr. Raizada, these are the papers. Please complete the formalities.

Nurse sees the wounds on ASR: Mr. Raizada you need bandages on your arms and legs, please go into Room 4 otherwise the infections can increase..Arnav not paying any attention to the Nurse…she sees that he is not interested so she continues.. "if you don't get yourself bandaged, you wont be allowed to go anywhere near Mrs. Raizada…Hearing this Arnav goes angry "You are no-one to tell me whether I can go near my wife or not"…

Nurse: But sir, there are risks of infections from you because the wounds are open. It can worsen Mrs. Raizada's state

Arnav comes back to senses understanding her thing not wanting to inflict any more pain on Khushi..

Aman: Sir, the nurse is right. Please go.

Arnav goes and gets himself bandaged and fills in the formality papers, while the other family members arrive.

Everyone was angry due to the circumstances ARHI got married in, but seeing them in this state, everyones anger melted. Only Nani, Akash, Payal and Anjali came to the hospital and they all walk upto Aman

Aman: Sir has gone to get himself bandaged while Ma'am is in the OT

Payal holds onto Akash's arm..Akash gently squeezes it to show her everything is fine

Nani: Is khushi going to be alright?

Aman: i Don't know naniji, she hasn't come out

Arnav comes after getting bandaged and sees everyone…as they spot him, they throw millions of questions at him "How did this happen? When did this happen? Who did this? Is she okay? Are you okay?...The questions continue…

Arnav: ENOUGH!!! We had an accident on the highway and the side where Khushi was sat was majorly damaged hence hurting Khushi more than me".

Describing those intense, heart wrenching moments in just 23 words made him feel hollow, his stomach kicking, his heart racing to different thoughts and his brain trying to convince him otherwise…all this was making his eyes watery again.

Anjali walks upto Arnav: don't worry chote, Khushiji will be alright

Arnav nods and goes to lean against the door again

1 hour…2 hours…3 hours pass …Arnav still leaning against the door remembering ALL the happily moments spent with Khushi and all she has sacrificed for him and his family…He wipes his tears and finally the doctor comes out…

Arnav jumps: Doctor, is everything fine?

Doctor: Yes the operation was successful. All her bruises, wounds and skin tissues have been repaired.. HOWEVER she is not responding to the medicines we are giving her…The medicines are important to keep her stable and keep her systems running but until she responds to our treatment, we cant be sure if she will be fine or not

Everyone gasps in shock…

Anjali: but doctor..why isn't she responding to the treatment?

Doctor: It seems she doesn't have the will to live anymore

As soon as the doctor says this, Arnav puts his hands on his forehead and strokes back his hair…Arnav's heart torturing him "Did you see? She doesn't want to live anymore, thanks to you.. are you happy now Arnav? You got what you wanted…she wont be able to ruin your sisters life anymore nor will you have to share room space or breathing air with her…you must be on top of the world today…"

Arnav clenches his teeth

*Flashbacks*

1. The first night where he kicks her out of the room

2. The part where he says "I have to tolerate you for 6 months"

3. where he says he hates her

4. where he confesses he only did all this to hurt her as he loves seeing her in pain

5. where she confessed that now there is no one who loves her,not her jiji, not her parents, and that she is an orphan again

Arnav closes his eyes in pain…and starts to walk backwards still his hands on forehead and tears in his eyes…saying under his breath "I am to blame, I am the one to blame" his Brain shouts "Arnav, you got what you wanted so be happy now" He shouts "Stop it! It is my fault! Everything is my fault! I did not want to hurt her!" ...The moment where his heart❤️ finally takes over "Arnav, remember Khushi, only remember her, she left her job for her dignity, how can she let your sisters dignity be on the question? She never expected anything from you, yet you gave her so much pain much to the opposite of what you should have given her ;love, she a strong willed girl, she never cared how hard it was for her to keep her family running and make sure her sister gets married, then HOW CAN SHE RUIN Your sisters marriage? THINK ARNAV THINK" his heart screams, begs for Arnav to awaken his consciousness if he wants to experience khushi again..

Everyone in the corridor looks at him...including his own family…His expressions changing from sadness, anger to shock, a state of paralysed, incapability clearly visible from his face

Anjali limping towards him: chote whats wrong? What are you sayng?

Arnav: I am to blame, di, I am to blame..He pulls his hair, still walking backwards while continuously saying "I am to blame, I am her culprit"

Saying this for the 8^th time in a fast tone, he quickly turns around and runs out of the hospital while akash and aman are trying to follow him. He gets in the car and drives off somewhere…
