Things like that won't get forgetted easily..you need time to heal from those hurtful things that had been said and done. And you definitely need time to come back on track! Need to return to yourself! Khushi and Arnav need time to understand, trust and love each other and that can ONLY be possible when that dirty creepy snake is out of the picture - which really won't take so long..as Arhi will team up and kick him out of their house, home and life!!
