Chapter 7:
Loved the way you described that nostalgic feelings of Maan.. He needed to go through that if he did not then it would not wash away from him. It was painful but it was necessary and you did woderful job with the details..
Chapter 8:
Felt bad for Geet.. listening to her husband telling her that he is in still love with his dead fiance.. The shattering of her dreams and her 1st night.
But well that is the story's main theme so I will wait for the declaration from Maan to Geet that he loves with all his heart body and soul :)
But one way I think it is ok as Geet does not want Maan under the shadow of another woman. When Maan comes to her it has to be with his full sense that this is the lady he loves and that is why he is giving her the moon and the stars..
Maan is dealing with much more deep sorrow and though he knows that he is hurting Geet and he has no right to used her that way but still he was honest as in fact he does not know his own situation right now.. His guilt shows that he is decent man and that he cares for his wife weather he believs it or not right now. but it will develop in him..
Going through all the ceremonies brought back deep hurt and sorrow and he was in that circumstances again and that took over him as he never was out of that..
But I think what he blurted out to Geet was the present situation of his heart. On the surface it is like churning up but deep down in his heart he has the conncection with Geet which Geet will have to pull out with her TLC and with deep understanding and also she will have to give him lot of space and by just staying in BG and let him realize it himself . When he said yes to her he actually was moving on... but the same circumstances pulled him down again and it was so heavy on him that he was unable to stand above the surface..
I felt like Maan has started to swim above the water and got caught in the whirlpool of past once again and he was pulled in the center of all that anguish.. and for him it was so heavy that he just even forgot his desire to swim and now only Geet can pull him but for that she needs to strong that she can fight the force of that pull and make him swim again in the safe water...
Would love to hear what mom says to her daughter.. a very wise discussion that Geet will ask Maan to come back and fight for her man herself ...
Tough battle ahead.. love this strong geet..
