Khushi came out of the pool side when Payal found her.

Payal: where the hell have you been? I have been looking for you in the whole house. She continued her complaining speech without noticing Khushi blushing more than ever looking down.😳😳😳

Payal: Hello? I am talking to you. Are you with me? She clicked her fingers in front of Khushi's face trying to gain her attention.

Khushi: yeah! Of course I am with you. I mean I was busy with some…. uh! work!

Payal raised her eyebrows questioning and got suspicious about Khushi really being busy with some work or with Arnav.

Payal: Right! I know what work was keeping you busy! So have you told him yet?

Khushi: Ah! I think mom is calling us. She said trying to avoid Payal.

Just then Anjali came to call Khushi for the engagement ceremony and took both Payal and Khushi along with her.

Nani announced everyone to please gather near the stage where the engagement was to take place. Payal took Khushi on the stage and made her sit on the sofa kept for the couple.

But amidst the happiness in the hall stood a man clad in a black suit looking completely unhappy with the development in his step sister and friends life. Shyam! Jealousy and hatred reflected in each and every expression on his face.

Arnav and Khushi took the blessing of their family members and then Payal dragged Khushi along with her away from Arnav to get the answers to her questions from her best friend. Arnav saw Khushi being teased by Payal as they both trailed away from the Hall. Khushi kept looking back at Arnav smiling at him. Arnav winked at her making her feel shy and turn around. Arnav then turned his attention to the man silently standing and witnessing the scene behind him.

Arnav: Shyam! Dude where have you been? I can't believe this. I am getting married to your sister and I haven't even met you since the wedding has been fixed. I am really offended.

Shyam smiled cunningly and continued: Even I can't believe this Arnav. I could never have thought that you could like a girl like KHUSHI! It's a pleasant surprise.

Arnav sensed something wrong. Arnav: what do you mean by "a girl like Khushi"? He asked for explanation.

Shyam: I mean that I always thought that you would marry a girl who would always want to be with you. You would marry someone for whom the institution of marriage, family being together and commitment meant something. But I guess time changes a person's perspective of things. And that's what I see has happened to my friend. Isn't it?

Arnav didn't know how to react for a minute. Was Shyam really saying the same thing which he thought his ears were listening? No he couldn't have been talking about Khushi. Shyam continued with his sweet poison talks when he noticed the change of expression on Arnav's face.

Shyam: But I have to say one thing, Khushi for sure is the luckiest girl on earth. I mean even after her strong beliefs in things such as love and opposition to an arrange marriage, she's getting married to you. He said smilingly and hugged Arnav. He knew the damage had been done. Arnav would never accept Khushi after all that he had told him.

On the other side Arnav Singh Raizaada felt like the biggest fool on earth. How could he not recognize the girl? She never wanted to get married to him. Yes! That's why she looked so not happy the day before when they all were deciding on the wedding date; Because she never believed in marriages to start with. Furthermore how could he fall in her trap like that and not understand that she had not even once said yes to the marriage. He gritted his teeth and walked away towards the bar to get a drink for himself.

Payal dragged Khushi to the pool side giggling and asked her straight looking in her eyes shamelessly.

Payal: So how was it?😃

Khushi: what?😕

Payal: Oh! Stop being a sati savitri Khushi Gupta. You know I am asking about the kiss.

Khushi's eyes shot up 😲as she heard Payal saying it so casually. Khushi: Ah ha! What did you just say?

Payal: So how did his lips felt? Soft? Warm? Hot? Or demanding? She said trying to tease Khushi making her blush furiously at her friend's questions.

Khushi: Payal just shut up! Will you?

Payal: No I won't! Unless you don't tell me his reaction to your confession. Oh! Well I already know his reaction, which is very obvious from your swollen lips. Isn't it?

Khushi gave Payal a disappointing look.

Payal: Wait a minute! Are you telling me that you haven't told him yet?

Khushi shook her head for a no.

Payal: OMG! He kissed you like that (pointing at her swollen lips) without knowing that you are in love with him. Wonder what's gonna happen at your SR when he knows the truth. 😉She said winking at Khushi and started giggling.

The girls were disturbed from their chat as they heard a deep baritone voice call for Khushi.

Arnav: Khushi!

Next: I don't Love you!!! He blasted at her.
