The auditions were being advertised in the UK at the end of July so the top 18 have probably been selected a very long time ago!

A bit confused now... Crocroach is the one who was in the Delhi audition? He is in TKT?? Now I need to go through the audition videos once again to clear my confusion... Where is Crocroach from, anyone remember?

The Top 18 have been selected already, and the gala episode shoot will be on 4th/5th Jan...

It's sad because these reality shows are for general public, if anyone wants to take part they should be able to 😕 Why do they even fake the whole "audition" crap. They should just start with top 18 already selected, coz thats what they do anyway.

And top 18 were "selected" exactly on December 4th 😊

did not know, was in India during dussera time and a dancer from pune who said he is planning to audition told me mumbai auditions are on 29th. Thanks for the info. yes, the top 18 are chosen long back and go through a gruelling training schedule before shooting of gala round commences.

TOG, if u notice, the ones that make to top 18 always have some sort of training, even the so called untrained ones. yes not all of them have access to TLDA or SDPA but to think they do not have training will be far fetched. After all its competition of proffesional and semi professional dancers.

let's hope not all of them have previous association with DID.

Before they joined the dancing institutes, they too were general members of the public. I don't blame them for taking the initiative to join a dance institute and wanting to get training from the best of the best.

Indian 'reality' show, what do you expect? Lol

a close friend of mine whose passion is dancing once auditioned for DID1, even then she said, they have to go through layers of audition and its all about connection. i don't know, but it doesnt look like some of them really had any sort of connection before DID, but she is a very close friend of mine and i dont know if i want to dis believe that or not.

Whats the status, there will be more coming and then final 32 or something?

How come there are more members in GKG? I thought from the final number they equally divide them in 3 groups. Never saw the auditions, so i'm confused.
