"Kaho Na Pyar Hain"

She fixed her sandals and stood back up facing the ultimate Gurmeet Sobti Chaudhry. There was no fear on her face speaking out bluntly "Jawab dijeye, ya saap sungiaya" smirking and making eye contact with Shabir.

Gurmeet wasn't going to take nonsense from Dhrashti. His angry eyes stared at her joyful face. He looked as if he was a furious tiger, with claws coming out his black long sleeves, when he grabbed her arms from the side of her stiff body, pushing him self on to her. His face was only 2cm away from hers, his deep breathing was going through her ears like a gush of heat waves coming down her spine. Dharashti stood still, she was like his captive with no way out. Scared as hell she was when he spoke out loudly in his deep voice "Betamiz Ladki!" pushing her back with full power, causing her to fall on her back on the grey hard tiles of the office floor. He spoke again looking at her body shaped as a log on the floor "waha tumara sahi jagaa hain". "Ayi ti Gurmeet Sobti Chaudhry se ladne!"

His name echoed in her ears making her realise he was the man they came to see to finalise a deal; Shabir was unaware of this fact. Dharashiti felt humiliated, all eyes were looking at her like she was a piece of litter dirtying the floor. Her eyes looked at Shabir, crying for help. Shabir moved from his position lending her a hand to get up. "Yeh kaunsi tadika hua? Ek ladki koh treat karne ka?" spoke Shabir in rather unusual aggressive voice addressing it at Gurmeet.

"Mere office main akaar tum aur tumara ya nachari dost, uche awaaz main mujhe kuch bhi bhole.. Aur main sunta rohu! Ye ho nehi sakta!" Roared Gurmeet like a devious creature.

Dharashiti and Shabir didn't know what hit them; to them it felt like a volcano erupting its hot lava on the innocents surrounding it.

Shabir spoke again "tumara boss..." when Dharashiti instantly placed her cold hands over his mouth, stopping him from completing his sentence as she now knew Gurmeet was no rikshawala. Shabir looked in to her eyes, as her face was covering his view. He stared at them as if his own pain from the past was reflecting in her deep eyes. Tears were rolling out her eyes soaking his expensive Jacket. He didn't say a word and held her hand firmly taking her out the office,

"tere naina, tere naine, tere naine re, makhmali haal hain'.." the song illustrated Shabir's feeling, he thought his ears were ringing but couldn't help him self to look back and when he did along with himself the whole office were shocked to see this song was howling out of Gurmeet's iphone4s. Irritated by the piercing noise Gurmeet soon realised he was the source where it was coming from. "Prachi!" his mind yelled realising he picked up his sisters phone by mistake. He immediately cut the call and his one glare was enough to silent the mumbling audience.

"harkat raj kumaro jaise, aur gana raj kumari jaise, yeh kaisa rikshawala hain bhai" Shabir exclaimed drying up Dharishti's tears in to a rollercoaster of laughter.

Her laughter was caught by the antenna like ears of Gurmeet. He said to himself "yeh kaun si ajeeb ajooba hain, pal main rohti hain' aur pal main hasti hain'" he nodded his head and walked inside his cabin whilst dialling home.

Prachi picked up the ringing phone "hello" she said. "Tum aaj college nahi gayin" said Gurmeet in a stern tone. Prachi's hand and feet went cold stuttering "I had free period", she lied.

"Okay, I just called to say I took your phone by mistake, I'll get the driver to drop it off to the house" explained Gurmeet. "Theek hain bhai", whispered Prachi and cut the call immediately. Gurmeet was surprised by her behaviour and wondered what is the matter with her. "Is it because all girls her age are married and I am unable to get her married??!" Gurmeet questioned himself. He dialled Adi and ordered "Adi I want the profiles of the best grooms in India by this evening at my house".

Prachi was standing like a clay doll, her pink saree wrapped around her curvaceous body made her look like Aishwariya Rai from madame tusseads. The wind wrapped her in its swirl making her hair fly like a peacock's feather; she stood rooted in her balcony staring at the landscape just for his one glimpse.

Across the field the tall broadly built man comes out his five storey mansion. Rubbing his hands he breathed in the cool air of his home soil.

"Ek ladki thi dewaani si... Ek ladka pe woh marti thi.. Nazre jhuka ke... Sharma ke... Galiyo se guzarthi thi... Chori chori... Chupke chupke... Chitiya likha karthi thi... Kuch kehna tha shayad usko... Jaane kisse darthi thi?

Kash abhi ke deh.. Usko hain mera intezar.. Shayed abhi bhi hain uska dil bekharar... Aas hain bhaaki... Shayed iss bhar puri ho jai pyar ki ye ek kahaani" reminisced the hugely attractive figure.
