Chapter #15

Knock, knock, knock

Somebody was knocking at the door. Sahil went to open the door. He looked and saw nobody. He felt that someone was tugging his pants; and he looked down. It was Rupali, her teddy bear cuddled on her left arm in her baby-dolls. Rano peered over his gigantic shoulders. "What are you doing here?" Rano asked her softly bending her level. "Captain Sparrow will come and capture all of us, we need to go away…I am scared, I am not getting sleep" she said hugging Rano. Sahil shook his head in amazement thinking "it must be Bhabhi with her Pirates of Caribbean sea" Rano patted her hair and said "you want to sleep with us". Rupali nodded and looked at her uncle. "Come on" Rano lifted the girl. "Do you want me to read you a story" Rano asked. Rupali nodded again and fixed her teddy next to her. "Which story?" she demanded to the little girl. "Red-Little-Hooding" she said.

"I am so happy" Jai told Baylor, Toni and Bani. Baylor and Bani exchanged looks. "I am inviting you for my wedding with Roshni Chopra" Jai said. "Oh? Sir so you finally decided to get married with the elegant Rosh Madam" Toni clucked in her Miss. Goody-goody voice. Bani avoided glancing at Baylor as she knew one eye contact would make her burst. "Now, Bani, you can handle the works here while I go and meet my best-friend" he asked. Bani nodded. Toni had a glint of jealously.

Toni glared at Bani and walked huffily away. Baylor crackled up. "I don't believe it, Sir actually invited us to the marriage of that witch and he actually thought of marrying that witch" Bani laughed. Just then the door opened and a person walked in. The person had eavesdropped the conversation between Bani and Baylor.

Rupali was already asleep with her teddy tucked under her arm. On the teddy there was a heart shape and on it, there was "Rupali and Buster" written on it. "Oh? So the teddy was named Buster" Rano thought. Sahil had to admit her was very impressed with her.

"T-Toni?" Bani stammered. "Yeah – me, Toni Desdemona" Toni said grinning as if she won the lottery. "Okay, Bye" she said still grinning. "Oh no, this nosy chick will tell Sir all we said about Roshni" Baylor said. "We have to stop her in some ways" Bani acknowledged. "She's unstoppable" Baylor said "she does whatever she wants".

"Can I come in Sir?" Toni asked Jai after he returned from visiting Viraj. "Yes" Jai said loudly. "Sir, I have the most interesting thing to say to you" Toni said evilly. "The glory is now mine, Bani" she thought.

"Can I come in Sir?" Bani asked. "Yes" Jai said. Bani entered and at once she felt she came at the wrong timing – the most wrong timing in her whole life! Toni was looking at Bani, beaming like a monkey. Bani's heart sunk in her heels. She wanted to faint at the spot. Jai was looking at her with his big brown eyes boring on her as if he wanted to skin her alive. "I'll leave now" Toni said smiling to Jai and when she arrived at Bani she whispered "good luck". "I need more than luck" Bani thought trying to put her most innocent face. "Do you need my signature?" Jai asked scared Bani. "Err – yes, for the Festive" she said and thought "why is he behaving like nothing happened?" Jai signed the papers and gave them back to her. Bani looked astonished at him and went away. "What happened?" Toni asked. Bani put her most confident face even though she wasn't and said "Sir was perfectly cool" and walked away leaving a surprised Toni behind. "How can nothing happen?" Toni thought.

"Why don't you guys go and eat something outside" Tauji told them. Rano looked suspiciously at Tauji. "Hmm, no, I don't think it's a good idea" Sahil said and added "beside it's already eight o'clock". "Oh come on, why do you live like a sixty year old couple, come on, this is my order" Tauji said very seriously. Sahil looked desperately at his father but it was an order, and it had to be respected.

"Viraj…" Alisha said and Bani groaned. It was ninety times since she came at Click she heard this name. "Viraj was saying that Roshni only wants Jai's money" Alisha said catching Bani's attention. "She's money-minded" she said importantly. "Viraj is scared for Jai but he says that Jai is crazy for Roshni…."
