Part 16: Kiss of life

Cupping Khushi's face, Arnav closes his eyes and gently plants a kiss on her.

Anjali looks away saddened!

Arnav plants her a kiss and then withdraws...he opens his eyes...and his warm tears drop on Khushi's closed eyes...and whispers...

Arnav: Khushi Kumari Gupta... "I have and will always love you" aur mein tumse waada karta hoon jiske wajah yeh sab hua hai...mein usse sazaa dilaakar rahoonga...

Anjali places her hand on his shoulders...

Anjali: chalo chote...

Arnav turns and walks away...He stops he feels something...He slowly turns around...

Khushi's fingers moves...and Khushi's chest raises up taking a very deep breath as if she has come back from the dead (Well she has)...

Arnav is shocked and looks at Khushi...his eyes wide open...

Arnav: Khushi...

Khushi takes another deep breath...and Arnav runs to her...He holds her...

Arnav: Khushi! Khushi! Di...meine kahaan na... khushi mujhe chod ke nahi jaa sakti...

Anjali nods agreeing and cries and smiles as well...

Arnav: Doctor! Doctor!

Doctor comes in...and says this is miracle...How could this ever happen...? Doctor checks her and tells Arnav that she is out of danger...Arnav closes his eyes in relief!

Arnav: Lekin doctor...Khushi apni aankhen kyon nahi khol rahi hai...

Doctor: Her body has gone through severe stress...aur zahar ke pahel ne se thodi kamzor ho gayi...

Arnav: I want 24 hrs care for her...do you understand me...

Arnav takes a step towards Khushi but

Khushi's family comes in...and they all surround Khushi...Khushi is still unconscious...she is breathing on oxygen...

Payal carresses Khushi's head...

Arnav stands away...looking at what just happened...

He walks out of the room and Anjali sees him going out...

Lavanya and Naani look at him coming out...and he looks at Lavanya and walks away...

Anjali comes out

Anjali: Naani...chpte kahaan hai..

Nani: Khushi bitiya kaisi hai...

Anjali: Chamatkaar ho gaya ...nani...Khushiji ab theek...kamzor hai lekin theek ho jaayengi...

Nani: Yeh sab kaise hua …...

Anjali recollects everything that happened inside the room between Arnav and Khushi...an dthen she looks at Lavanya...and keeps silent

Nani: Humne chote ko kabhi bhi itna pareshaan nahi dekha hai...

Lavanya: Mujhe toh lagaa tha ki ASR khushi ko bilkul pasand nahi karte..lekin aaj...

Lavanya looks at Anjali...with suspicion...Anjali looks for Arnav...

Anjali: Hum Chote ko dekhe aate hai...

Anjali walks a little further...and is shocked to see...Arnav kneeling down in front of Devi Maiyya's moorti...(Awww) with his eyes closed

Anjali tears up...

Anjali kneels down in front of him...he holds his hand...

Anjali: Itna pyaar karte ho khushiji se...

Arnav opens his eyes...looks at Anjali

Anjali: Jo insaan bhagwaan samne sir bhi nahi jhookata tha...woh aaj ….is tarah...

Arnav hugs Anjali really tight...

Arnav: I LOVE HER DI...I REALLY LOVE KHUSHI...BAHUT PYAAR KARTA HOON MEIN USSE!

Anjali: Mere chote ko pyaar ho gaya hai...lekin yeh sab kaise hua...chote aur kab...

Nurse comes in ….and says...

Nurse: Mr. Raizada...Paitient ko hosh aa raha hai...

Arnav quickly gets up...and rushes to Khushi's room...Anjali follows..

Arnav is running to the room and Lavanya calls him...but he just runs past Lavanya...

Lavanya is very dejected and shocked...

Arnav enters the room...and he sees Khushi surrounded by family members...he is not able to see her...

He can only hear payal asking Khushi to open her eyes...

Arnav closes his eyes...and his fist...hoping she would finally open her eyes...

Payal: Khushi...amma Khushi aankhen khol rahi hai...Khushi kuch bol rahi hai...

Khushi: very softly... "Ar" "Arnav" "Arnavji"

Payal: Arnavji...Arnavji se milna hai...

Arnav opens his eyes...upon hearing his name from khushi...he feels as if he has got back his life...

They all turn around to see Arnav standing...

Payal walks to Arnav...Khushi ne aap ka naam liya hai...milna chahti hai...

Doctor comes...dekhiye patient ko aaram karne deejiye...

Khushi gets agitated...

Khushi: Arnavji...

Doctor: Mr. raizada...you can stay please lekin bahut der nahin...she needs rest...

Everyone leaves...except for Arnav in the room...he looks at Khushi...unable to believe that she is back...(Tu hi Bataa mere maula playing)

Khushi turns to her right...and looks at Arnav...Arnav just stops...

Khushi: Arnavji...she whispers...

Tears flowing down her cheeks...Arnav keeps walking to her...He kneels down in front of her bed...and tears rolling down his cheeks...

Khushi: Arnavji...aap roh rahe hai...

Arnav: SSSHHH! Kuch mat kehna...tumhe bahut kamzori hai...he looks down...unable to face her...

Khushi: Humme maaf kar deejiye...

Arnav looks up in shock...

Arnav: Meine kahaan chup!...Kyon kiya tumne aisa...agar tumhe kuch ho jaata toh...mein mar...

Khushi places her hand on his mouth...(Rabba Ve)

Arnav takes her hand and kisses it...and Khushi just looks on...

Khushi: Hum bilkul theek hai...dekhiye...kuch nahi hua hai...humme...

Arnav just cups her face...and cant control himself...

Arnav: Jaan nikal gayi thi meri pataa hai tumhe...tumhe kisne haq diya apni jaan lene ki...yeh jaan sirf tumhari nahi hai …..ab meri bhi hai...samjhi tum...

Khushi: Maaf kar deejiye...

Arnav: Ek shart par...then he smiles...Ab tum aaram karo aur kuch nahi bologi...

Arnav gets up...Khushi grabs his hand...

Khushi: Shyamji...

Arnav starts fuming up...

Arnav: Meine kahaan na...tum aaram karo...

Khushi: Waada keejiye...aap anjaliji se kuch nahi kahenge...

Arnav looks shocked...

Arnav: Di se kaise chupa sakta hoon...Khushi...uss insaan mein di ko bahut door rakhna chahta hoon...

Khushi: Hum samajh sakte hai...lekin iss waqt , iss halaat mein unhe Shyamji ki asliyat bataana theek nahi hoga...woh toot jaayengi...

Arnav looks at Khushi...he cups her face...

Arnav: Tum iss haalat mein bhi ….di ke baare mein soch rahi ho...Kis mitti ki bani ho tum...

Khushi: Anjaliji aap ki behen hai...Arnavji...

Arnav: I love you Khushi...he leans in closer to her...to kiss her lips..Khushi closes her eyes...

There is a knock on the door...
