Another theory, what if somehow Arnav comes to know that Khushi is not happy with the engagement? I don't know how..but just suppose he does. He may not stop it or anything, but atleast when the truth comes out..and he rationally thinks..he'll remember that Khushi was never happy with it..so if no one else, he will believe Khushi to a certain extent when she'll say that she didnt know anything.
