The answer below is wrong - sorry aloo! You have actually mentioned Abhi's sister and her family....unless the husband and kid are true - but the lady's name was definately not anandi...and that question was asked in the first page - bit of confusion here - maybe somebody else can clarify...

The answer for Meera's question is Simran's sister's name was Kavitha, husband Rohit, son Akshat(i am not sure about this).

Rashmi's first husband's name was Rahul and he died in a car accident.

My Ques: How did Simran's mom die and why was Simran angry at Abhi in that episode?

Simran's mother died in her sleep soon after Rahul's death. Simran was angry with Abhi that day bcos Abhi was in a out station shoot schedule with Kiran. He had(or she had) switched off his mobile. So Simran could never inform Abhi about this....
