PART 13

Dev is looking at Geet and smirking. He is remembering how he called Geet and told her not to believe anyone.

He is sitting on the sink in the bathroom with a swab dipped in red colour,looking at the mirror. He calls Geet and says;

"Geet, it's me, Dev." And starts to dip the swab in the red colour

"Oh my God Dev."

"Geet, where are you?" he says uninterestedly and starts to put it above his eyebrow and also on the side a little

"Somewhere in the hospital," she then starts to look at her surroundings to find where she is, "Dev, what happened?"

Dev just said, "Don't trust anyone." while saying he is smiling and then making a face like he is really sad.

"Where are you?"

"I am in a bathroom," his voice is trembling, "where are you?"

He then cuts the calls, makes a scared face, takes his picture with the help of his phone and sends it to Hari and after that is laughing heartily.

Just then the same nurse, Nandini enters there. Geet sees her and remembers meeting her in Dev's hospital room.

Kartar also enters there from behind. She remembers meeting him and how he was looking for her all the time.

Geet get numb and says, "Everything is a lie."

Dev looks at her and in a sympathetic manner says, "Don't take it personally Geetu."

Geet is still numb and it not able to think properly. She murmurs to herself, "It's not real," she then smiles and says, "I am a real idiot."

Maan opens the book and starts to read (I will only be writing those words which are important regarding what is written in book and what he is reading):

Took him to the hospital...surgery...could not find him...looking around...does not exist...he is not real...sub-conscious...mad...imagining...call...

kidnapping...transfer money...blackmail...Caribbean Island...also involved....

He read it all and it was like he was playing morning's happening in front of his eyes.

He comes to the first page and reads what is written there:

Dear Geet,

You are the sunshine in my life. The one, who I will always, be grateful to, for coming in my life. Love you a lot.

Yours DEV.

On the other hand Geet was standing in the middle and the four of them were surrounding her.

Kartar looks at her and says, "All we had to do was to sit back and you did everything."

Nandini walks towards Dev, smiles and says, "Boys, time to go."

Dev puts an arm around Nandini, looks at Geet and says, "Geet, I will send you a post-card."

Hari interrupts and says to Kartar, "You know what to do."

Maan runs out of the building, towards his car. He calls Naintara and says, "She is telling the truth. Geet is telling the truth. She is in trouble."

Dev, Nandini and Hari start to walk out happily. They go towards their car. Hari sits in the driver seat with Nandini beside him while Dev goes to sit in the back seat.

Nandini looks very happy and says, "50 crores feel good," she turns towards Dev and says, "Give me a kiss."

Dev pecks on her lips, leans back and says, "I almost feel bad for her."

Nandina looks at him confused and asks, "Why is that?"

Dev raises his eyebrows and says, "Almost; but then, 50 crores," he starts to smile.

Kartar starts to drag Geet ruthlessly. He hits her back to a wall and holds her neck in his hand, trying to choke her, then says, "Easy, easy, I will not take much time. Yeah..."

PART 14

Geet is trying to breathe; she tries to speak to him, and says, "I want to show you something."

She then moved her hand towards her pocket in her trousers.

Kartar notices this and gets alert, "Why are you reaching down there?"

Geet manages to speak while his hands are still on her neck, holding it, "My phone."

He tightens his hold on her neck and asks, "Why phone?"

With great difficulty she says, "I have not transferred the money. I will transfer it all to your account with just a click."

Kartar gets shocked and says, "What?"

She takes the phone a little close to his face and says, "Look, look here."

He gets distracted by looking into the phone and his hold decreases on her neck.

She takes this opportunity, kicks him in his sensitive area with her knee and rushes out of that place.

Karatar soon gets control, and runs after her, "Geet, where are you?"

She hears him calling her name, and she rushes on the stairs.

He also goes towards the stairs and is continuously calling, "Geet, Geet..."

She sees that he has come really close. She hides behind a pillar and grabs a wooden stick that was on the ground.

Kartar is coming towards her; she is hiding behind the pillar with the stick in her hand.

He begins to say, "You know Geet, this...."

Before he could say anything further, Geet hits him on his face with the stick. He gets unconscious and falls on the ground.

In the car, Nandini starts to speak, "I am nervous. You know 50 crores."

Dev smiles at her and says, "Yes baby, it is all ours, and we are going away from all of this to enoy our life."

Hari looks at them and says, "Don't get too much excited. Call Kartar and find out whether he has done his job or not."

Dev looks at him and says, "You worry too much. I will call him and find out."

He takes the mobile and calls Kartar.

Geet is standing right beside Kartar who is on the floor. She starts to go away when she hears his mobile ringing.

She picks up the calls and hears what the other person is saying.

As the call is picked, Dev hears the sound of heavy breath, he says, "Hello Kartar, it seems like you are out of breath."

But there is no answer. He can still hear the sound of heavy breathing.

Geet listens to him but does not say anything. She is breathing heavily from all the running.

Dev realizes that something is wrong. He hesitantly says, "Geet, is that you? Where is Kartar? You killed him?"

Geet still does not answer and is listening.

Dev then says, "I am coming for you, and we will sort it all out."

After listening to this, Geet cuts the call. She takes the gun that Kartar has and runs.

On hearing the conversation, Nandini and Hari get worried.

Hari says, "I thought you said you know her."

Dev is silent and thinking of something, he says, "I told you she is smart."

Hari gets a call on his mobile. It is from the bank in the Caribbean.

The man from there says, "The money is not here."

Hari gets alarmed and asks, "What do you mean?"

The man replies, "I meant what I said. The money is not in the account. I have checked it myself. The transfer is not complete. There is no money."

All three of them listen to this and get shocked.

Dev takes a gun out of the back of the car and says, "We have to go back. I will handle her myself."
