Had posted in Sush's thread as well but was so furious & frustrated aft yesterday's episode that i wanted 2 vent all my ire thru a separate post. My relationship with IPKKND is also slowly becoming like ARHI. Sometimes extreme love & sometimes extreme hatred. Iss pyar/nafrat ko kya naam doon?
I seriously wonder wat the CVs r trying 2 do with the characterization of KKG. I know most of the folks here like KKG & Sanaya but I am sorry friends, she is seriously getting on my nerves & frm yest i ve started disliking her. I know i ll get lotta rotten eggs/tomatoes thrown at me & even hate mails BUT i now officially proclaim that I HATE KKG.
My intention is not 2 bash a specific character or actor. All my angst is towards the CVs & script writers 4 screwing up the character of KKG.
Its a wonder that Arnav even loves this specimen. I mean here is a go-getter business man sacrificing his all-imp conf just coz of this nitwit. He is still restrained & polite with her but wat does she do cross all boundaries of decency. How much can u really test the resilience & patience of a guy. She spits water at him, a scene which i found disgusting & in v poor taste. They c'd ve just shown her choking. In fact she kept chanting u dint eat, u dint eat but did she do anything bt it? No she stuffed herself. She c'd ve at least got him some milk & plain phulkas. She said how ll u go alone & wats the brilliant idea she comes up with. BLOODY F***** NOTHING. Just dances around like a clown. Again he carries her bef all those ppl but still he dint even touch her. Even in the dupatta scene he averted his look. How does she repay. Just by being more silly & annoying. Even a cuckoo can understand that he stayed back, carried her to the bed, gave her tablets & nursed her 2 health. All the while this diabetic guy has still not eaten anything. And wat does she do just mop around & sulk.
The final straw was that cliched goonda scene. its again v clear 2 even the dimmest of the dimmest nitwit that the poor guy fought with those guys only coz they hurt her. But rather than feeling touched or grateful she starts her yapping again. In the precap if u notice he is actually bleeding but she doesn't care or notice but just yapping on & on.
I know i know ppl w'd say that Arnav has repeatedly insulted her. Again sorry folks even i am a girl but generally Arnav crosses the boundary only aft KKG really pushes him 2 the wall. She did gatecrash & spoil his fashion show & he was quite valid in thinking that she might ve been planted by his business enemies. Releasing the video tapes was v bad. I totally agree. But again she causes the fire alarm 2 go off just wen an imp client is on a visit 2 the office. Come on most of us r employed & even our bosses w'd fire us if v do something THAT stupid. Again he just wanted 2 sack her. She was the 1 who challenged him saying she wont quit. Again that car park scene only wen he came out he realized it was raining. Imm he saves her & also offers his coat which she declines. GH scene he had no idea the building was crumbling. The moment he came 2 know he rushed 2 save her. Same during Teej as well. Till now all the supporters of KKG ve been arguing that in all these previous incidents KKG dint c his inner mental turmoil, guilt & agony.
But there is no such justification 4 this Nainital trip. Frm the moment he discovers her in the car boot till the goonda incident Arnav has been only restrained, polite, kind, tolerant & nice. Its KKG who has been crossing all boundaries of decency. Except for that fainting incident, the CVs ve not shown KKG caring for Arnav. I think i am the only person who hated the Tea throwing incident. I found her apology & reaction aft that v inadequate.
Come on CVs, plz pull up ur socks. A love story can b a hit only if the audience root for both the leads. Their pain is ours, their tears ours. Currently KKG's tears leave me cold & totally unsympathetic. Its only Arnav's pain which touches me. Plz work on KKG's characterization so that v start empathizing with her.
