I don't think they are least bothered...just that family honor is placed more on girls than boys. Don't really get the logic behind it but it's what it is. I know in my family one of my cousins (male) did a love marriage and there was like a huge blowout and everyone cried and yelled and all that nonsense. But in the end, they had to accept it cause he was part of the family. Girls have to leave their homes anyways so if they do love marriage, then family won;t have trouble kicking her out and telling her to never come back again. But boys are the ones carrying the family name and all that.
