Since we have to wait for Wafah's update, let me say something about the two episodes preceding today's which I had written in response to a question by another forum member. Of course, I may be wrong and way off-track and if it turns out to be so, forgive my assumptions. (but I think one thing has been confirmed... but I won't get into that till the update is up).
Before getting into that let me say one thing about the kundli in question. (By the way, I don't know much about kundlis as a non-Hindu and don't really understand their significance, so I'm going off on what I think it means in the context of the show). I don't think that this kundli is Runjhun's. There is something about Mittho's behaviour when Runjhun mentioned the dosh in her kundli that made me re-watch two episodes in particular: 1) the one in which Kalsanwali asks Mittho for Runjhun's kundli and her hesitation in handing it over till Rajju tells her to, followed by 2) the one in which Guddu catches it in mid-fall after Kalsanwali attempts to throw it into the river. When Kalsanwali reports back that Guddu has the kundli in question, Mittho is very nonchalant and unbothered whilst all the other M&M are worried. It made me think that this might just be Mahadevi's fake kundli that they had made for her wedding, before she thought of using Runjhun's. Now if that were the case... and I'll leave it at that till we analyse the last two episodes...
We start the episode with Runjhun telling Guddu about the Baba and his prediction, over which she's visibly worried and flustered over. Guddu, expectedly so, dismisses it as a new M&M strategy as we already know that he does not believe in things such as kundlis and predictions about one's destiny. He jumps the gun once again in thinking that and even goes overboard (but not surprising for him) in his reaction. However, what is really interesting in this scene is that she first tells him that she went back to ask for a solution, but follows it almost immediately that he didn't have one and didn't ask for a dakshan. My ears went up! Huh?! Did you just contradict yourself, dear Runjhun? Ah... then I thought, this can't be a goof-up. There is a message here. Did she really meet with the baba again? We never know as we weren't shown that, but I think she did. And she didn't realise that she just gave that away in her distress and Guddu didn't catch it either as he was caught up between trying to reassure her and planning his lesson for the M&Ms. So the next question is that if she did meet with the baba, why wasn't he able to provide a solution as the learned man who discovered this anyways, right? I thought of that for a while and I think it's because of his own ulterior motives, and this is going by the announcement that he wants to marry Runjhun. So, why would he suggest a solution if that means Guddu remains in the picture and him out? Of course, you may ask just as Runjhun did, how about all the things that have been happening? Aha! Once again, I was stumped, but the logical conclusion is that this is all the baba's doings. Why do you think so, you may ask? Ah! When Guddu confronts the baba in the front of the Shiv temple after his IM meeting, the baba leaves in a scuffle screaming that he will curse him and make him pay for insulting and disrespecting him. Also, when Runjhun comes to visit him in her distress over being used by Guddu, he does tell her that he wanted to help her but her arrogant husband insulted him for which he will pay. Then moves on to say she has a lot of suffering in store...blah blah blah... Do you see where I'm going with this?
Guddu as we know, rushes over to Pandey Niwas literally as soon as the sun rises (poor guy, two days in a row without food is enough to make anyone that angry) to handout due punishment and exact a confession from the Ms to prove to Runjhun the futility of her worry and distress. That does not turn out as expected, as obviously they aren't behind it. But many things go wrong: 1) he's put his relationship under another threat, that of the M&M's who will now fully capitalise on this to do their worst. 2) he never discussed the actual attempt by Mittho to kill him – a very significant omission on his part, and 3) here is where we're always expected to suspend our logical selves... since we've always been told (via Amma) that Runjhun has no idea about the existence of her kundli, why did no one question her knowledge of it through a baba? And Amma, dear, if you've assumed that Guddu threw it in the river, where would a baba get it from to analyse it? Actually, Guddu is the only one whose reaction is justified: he reasoned with himself that since he already got rid of said kundli then the baba's words have to be a plot of the M&M's. I had seriously thought that they would have used this episode to clear some of the things that are still in the dark: 1) Guddu throwing the kundli away, and 2) Runjhun's knowledge of her bhag. But we'll have to wait till the CVs use that for another track in the future. Oh well...
Runjhun might have come to her own but she still is treading in murky waters trying to find her path. I never saw the need for her to blurt out, especially after chiding the M&Ms for the past behaviour, right in front of her worst enemies the threat to Guddu's life (which is not due to the kundli). She just made herself unknowingly vulnerable to more threats.
Moving on, interesting enough is the clear indication given to us of Mahadevi's very near actions. She's going to rebel and go against her mother! Yes! Finally, a positive in the sea of disasters that was the last two days. I don't know yet how they'll accomplish this but it should be interesting because it means that her character will be doing a lot of growing up very soon – probably after the end of this new track.
And now finally, before today's episode which I'm eagerly awaiting, let me end it with two things:
Firstly, I think the baba's energies are focused on Guddu right now. And if that were the case (and I do realise I'm giving him a lot of powers, but it is a show which does require us to think out of the box and assume many things) it explains why Guddu's bike's tyre punctured and his injury whilst on the steps of the temple. The baba saw Runjhun's very visible physical reaction to the news, she looked like she was almost fainting when he was going on and on, and it would make sense for him to assume that she's told Guddu (who from his own interaction came off as the man to disbelieve it) but the baba has a motive and a point to prove. How else is he to separate Runjhun from Guddu but by making things go wrong for her, and she with her very superstitious nature (very clear to him since she's seeked him twice for advice), will believe without question.
Secondly, (think back on what I said on this being the fake Mahadevi kundli) Guddu's mom will be the one to discover this after many more misunderstandings and hurdles to be overcome by our Gunjhun. Mittho, for sure, has already realised that this is the case and has probably plotted her next move which might prove deadly but ultimately harmful for her, since this might just be the precursor to Mahadevi's coming to life per se.
Let me know what you think as I'm eager to discuss this as it's suddenly become very interesting even more so that than the track that just ended that had everyone frustrated.
