Every thing went well until 3 months….but suddenly one da she called me at 11.30 late night……."

Meera took a deep breath and looked at maan and then meera as she continued "that's the first time she cried over phone…."

But on the other side geet was all silent. Meera became worried and got up from the bed and asked her as she sat "geet…..geet tum teek ho na..kya hua…kuch bolo geet."

Meera: plz geet kuch to bolo….

Geet started sobbing heavily unable to control her emotions inside.

Meera(worried): geet….geet y r u crying? What happened?

Geet(hiccupping):meera….meera

Meera: haan geet kaho geet

Geet(sobbing): I miss u

Meera: kya?

Geet(still sobbing): haan I miss u,misha,sid,yash,dia……I miss u all.

Meera: geet r u crying for that? We all will meet u in the coming holidays ok.

Geet: no meera listen to me completely.

Meera sat silent listening to geet her pain is evident in her voice but to meera she sounded so childish.

Geet(sobbing): I really do miss u all even mama and rajji…..sob..sob… I am feeling so lonely meera…sob….sob…..i fell like I m alone in this whole world……..sob….. I feel like I don't have anyone….hiccup……no one like me…sob…..everyone are irritated by me……sob sob…no one likes me…..why meera why am I left here alone…..all alone….i don't have anyone to share my happiness or sadness……hiccup….now I really feel like hugging some one and cry my heart out in their lap….but I had none with me…why meera……..no one…..i thought every one are my friends but no one meera….sob sob…..hmmm…mm..mmm….sobbing….i feel like killing myself……no one in this world want me….i dunno y I m still living on this earth……sob sob….

Meera is dumb struck by her words….what happened to her…she is speaking of ending he life……

Meera: shut up geet

Geet:….sob …sob

Meera: how dare u speak of ending ur life……r u that stupid to take such decisions……aakir aisa hua kya that u thought of this stupid thing……how can u geet……and WHO on this earth told u that no one likes u and no one wants u…..we all love u geet….ur mama…ur papa…rajji….me….mish….sid…yash….dia….we all love u a lot geet…..we want u….u r not alone geet…we all r there for u……

Geet(made a baby face): but u r not beside me na now.

Meera: geet remember every one cant stay there whole life beside u….every minute and every second…..they have ther own world and own life……even if they want to stay with u all the time ……… they may get a situation that they must stay away from u for atleast some time……and they will do….may be its for them or it for U……that doesn't mean that the person doent like u or u r left alone……understand others geet……everyone are there for u…….we all are there for u….remember geet……

Geet(sobbing):hmmm

Meera: now stop crying geet…

Geet:hmmm

Meera: ab bolo kya hua?

Geet: wo…us priya dint speak to me from 2 days..

Meera: y?

Geet: we had a fight 2 days back.

Meera: kyun?

Geet: because I said I will not pass the things she gave to her bf this time.

Meera: passing things?

geet: wo wo.

Meera: geet kaho? What r u passing?

Geet: actually few days back priya asked me for a help.she said that she had some things to pass to her bf but it is not possible for her to go out of her home after 7 pm so she asked me to pass them to him…..

Meera: u went out of hostel to meet some one that too some one's bf at 7?

Geet: no actually…not 7..its 10..

Meera: r u out of ur mind geet? Meeting an unknow person at 10 night…that's not safe and don't tell me u went to meet him all alone?

Geet: actually meera I asked shalini but she said she is busy.

Meera: u r impossible geet….aur kya hua?

Geet: that meeting went well that time …….but last time…

Meera: last time?...last time what? How many times did u pass things like this..?

Geet:hmm…wo…wo…almost every day.

Meera: kya? Almost every day?...almost every day u went to meet some one at 10 pm…..??????!!!!!...from when geet??

Geet:hmm…2 months

Meera: kya?????...and what happened last time?

Geet:wo actually…my hostel warden caught me red handed….

Meera: WHAT?!!!!!!...u r going out of hostel at 10pm night to meet some one unknown without informing to ur warden?

Geet: haan meera….wo kya hai na if we ask permission our demon will not give and in return she scolds…even she will ask the reason….how can I say that I m going out to meet prem(priya's bf)? She will kill me.

Meera: this is not happening geet…that's so risky to do….how can u go like that…cant u say her to find some other alternative?

Geet: that is what I said her yesterday and she shouted at me.

Meera: y yesterday.. y not before…..dont u know on one day or other this is what to be happened?

Geet: meera she is my friend how can I say no to her?

Meera: oh stop it geet if she is ur friend then she should think of ur safety but no she dint do it….instead she kept u in trouble…..she is so selfish cant u see that geet.

Geet: plz meera don't say like that she is also my friend like u all….she is really good….just took liberty of being a friend and asked me help…that's all…..

Meera: par geet….

Geet: omg meera…demon is coming for rounds and I said that I m ill to skip my punishment for being caught….now if she see me like this she will definily not leave me this time……so bye bye bye…I m hanging up….take care dear…good night…..muhaa…

Meera: good night kiddo

Meera stoped and turned towards mish and maan. They are looking at her all surprised. They all sat in silence for few minutes

Finally maan broke the silence saying " I don't think priya is a right choice for being geet's friend….she is selfish."

Meera looked at maan and spoke "that is what I thought…..geet is innocent and nave and this priya is using her innocence to get her things done…..this is not the only call where geet cried becoz of priya……this continued almost till the end of her 2^nd year……priya used to shout at geet….do many things and throw the blame on geet and geet as usual saying 'she is my friend ' but these things became more…until I know geet started knowing the true face of priya in her 2^nd year starting and I always advised her to stay away from priya…….one day geet called to rano aunty and asked her to come to mumbia…..the last time I spoke to ranno aunty was about geet….after geet called her mom..aunty called me to know whether I know the reason y geet is crying and asking to come to mumbia immediately….i said I dunno. She went to meet geet and she never returned."

As meera completed a tear dropped from her eyes and she wiped it immediately.
