Part 3

The Khurana's were saved as they have to leave for Delhi in the early hours of morning due to Savitri Khurana's illness, Mohneesh tried to call Mohinder but as Maaneet were busy talking he could not inform him. They came to know about the disaster as they were entering Delhi, Mohneesh left Rajji with hi mother and went back to Ahmedabad, the building they live din was all debris, and same was the condition of Handa's apartment, it was on the third day that they found Rano's and Mohinder's bodies, Geet was still missing. Mohneesh called Sukhvinder and informed her of the tragedy, they came immediately with Brij, the last rituals were performed and they haunted for Geet from camp to camp but she was no where to be found, Mohneesh was broke, then he remembered about Maan, even his son did not know that they were not in the city, he immediately called him and was informed that he was hospitalized, Mohneesh left Ahmedabad and went to Kota.

Maan has not eaten anything since that fatal day, he was hospitalized and every one here thought that his parents also died, he was thrown out of the hostel and one of the local boy's took him to his house, he also thought that Khurana's were no more. Mohneesh came in and took Maan to Delhi.

Meanwhile in Ahmedabad all debris was cleared and still there was no sign of Geet, Chawla's were trying hard to find her, it was then that Sukhvinder told Brij that Geetanjali was his real sister and Handa's his real parents, she told him every thing that how she did not allow Handa's to visit him due to her own insecurities, Brij was shocked and with new zeal searched for his sister he had never known.

Meanwhile, Geet who had been thrown a mile away from her place was still unconscious, she came out after 10 days, when the rescue workers asked her where she lived, she told them and also her parent's name, they checked the locality chart and informed her of their demise, she was numb. Later when asked about who she would inform that she was out of danger she told them about Khurana's but she was told that the floor she referred to in the specific building there were not survivors; she was lost, she did not know any one else, yes she knew that her grandparents lived somewhere in HSPur, her Aunt lived some where in Chandigarh and her maternal grandparents lived in Mukeria, but she did not know their addresses or phone numbers; she was lost, then she remembered calling Maan and made a call to his hostel, it was 11 am and no boys were there, the caretaker took the call and informed her that after Khurana's demise the landlord kicked Maan out, and he did not know where he went. Geet was in tears; she lost everyone and was all alone.
