Maybe you are right :) I hope you are right about it having something for everyone
But by suddenly pulling the plug on an exisiting genre of shows -some of which have totally young starcasts-isnt a good way to tell people that the new version will have something similar or better too :)

Star One is digging it's own grave, not only that but they aren't really a trust worthy channel either. People will think twice before they get too attached to the show's that they air; 'cause who know's when it might go off air?

I am not expecting DMG comeback on SO or rather on Star Desh. I am even hoping now not to come back coz it will be another saas-bahu drama.

this is news to me, i don rele come here that often, but oh well, here's my 2 cents: imo geet should be ending first, they show so many ghisa pita twists in there but i guess they want to hold onto it because of the large fan base maneet has, i never watched rbo and yeh ishq hai, well i guess that show should have never started anyway..
i only watch pkyek that too on and off, they could do a lott better with this show, but it couldn't stand upto my expectations for long..i guess SO don't really know what kind of audience they want to target, they were teenage orientated first but they try to incorporate shaadi and all that, and it turns out sth like a crossover between typical indian serial and non sensical teen drama. i wont be the least surprise if star desh becomes star plus version 2.

Thats kinda true Tina 😕 Its not that one wants the shows to go on for years and years and years and get stretched like a rubber band- noo. Its just that one wants a logical run for a show- I mean i kinda just got interested in PKYEK and now they;ll rush up and pull the plug.

And if they were ending these shows to bring fresh maal one would still make peace- but no they are possibly changing the whole point of watching Star Plus, i mean WHY would one change one's character of shows completely- doesnt that mean driving away the audience that was supposedly ur target audience? I dunno whats on🥱

But yeah we could wait and watch - but the chances of anything even remotely fresh like the DMG,MJHT,Geet et all are slim you know

DIvzie😛 Haan yaar thats what prompted me to write this :/ I have less than zero wish to see it back on a channel that doesnt ever know where its heading these days -___-
Better stick to the nice phase of DMG than see its name being mangles as during the kheencha hua times of season 2 or 3 or 4 or whatever they'l call it

Ya man, why take off the youth based ones totally? Why not infuse a new genre- the family ones and yet have the shows that might have some resonance with a young audience. I have stayed the past few months in this place where there were sooo many college people- the only time they switched to SO was during PKYEK and sometimes Geet- at least the good ones cud be given some time , but even Geet looks to be floundering so its a tough call :/

Yeah, StarOne remaining Star One would have served purpose of DMG's return but like you, even I doubt now :-/ The channel really needs to wake up and smell the coffee instead of taking decisions so hastily.They dont seem to be learning from their past mistakes.

I dont know man- the mannagement or whoever it is that decides these things seems to be a new one - not the one that initially launched and groomed the channel.
I remember they used to have this hip Star One Commerical- Remix cast and all jumping up and down, the Star One tune in the background, then during DMG +MJHT times there used to be cross promotions that were sometimes fun :P

There's no zing and i doubt Gujrati shows wil get it back where it was.

well see SO ended one of their longest running shows ie DMG and MJHT and since then they are facing huge losses ..by now they shud have learnt from their past mistakes but nai..they are going ahead with their very phamous "REVAMP" strategy..🤢 ab koi khud hi apni nayya dubaana chahtey hain toh ismey hum kya kar saktey hain?😉
