Chapter 17
Aftermath ….
Everyone was at home… each person in their own bedrooms thinking about what had happened the night before… how the boys were glad to reach dev's place in time..if they had been late then god knows what would have happened to Geet.. no-one could even think about it… one thing was for sure.. Geet and Yash were glad that Meera and Arohi were not there to witness anything.. Arohi wouldn't be able to take it… the image of Geet on the floor with that dog ontop was now plastered in all four boys mind… no matter how they tried to forget it just wouldn't budge.
Once they got home last night Maan put Geet in her bed…. But Geet wouldn't let go of his hand.. it was like it was stuck together.. she kept muttering Maan's name, along with her brothers over and over again… but mostly Maan's…
It was hard for her brothers… how they had seen her lifeless body in Maan's arms.. how she looked so damn peaceful but scared.. how she kept muttering their names…
Maan on the other hand was going silently crazy.. his inner self was talking to him… telling him shes hurt… telling him to just hug her now… telling him to tell her how he feels… his mind then jumped in and join the convo… lol :D his mind was telling him that he himself doesn't know if he likes Geet in that way… I mean he can't not after everything that had happened to him… but now he can't pretend to hate her… if he did it would have to be subtle… he would have to keep her happy, safe, keep her smiling and laughing. He promised not to let her past effect her present of her future… he would make her his… that shouldn't be too hard right?? A NEW BEGINNING!
Yash was thinking… how he should break this news to his parents.. how it was about time that they knew the truth… he was scared about their reaction but they shouldn't be too angry right… he was right they weren't angry… they were upset.. especially when they knew it was Geet's idea to keep them in the dark… he kept thinking about Geet. How he thanked babajii sooo many times for making them reach her on time… he couldn't think about what would have happened to her.. from now on its just A NEW BEGINNING!!
Prem was sitting in his chair… rocking back and forth… flicking the light switch on and off… how could they have let things sooo far….his baby sister…. She was scarred for life with bad memories… how her perfect childhood had been ruined by that scheming horrible perverted person… he felt ashamed to call Dev his mate…. He thought back to the times where she had been soo quiet he thought it was because she missed Yash veerji… how her childhood had gone from her being soo happy to her walking around like a zombie… how he wished he had known then. Now all that mattered was his baby sister… her happiness was the reason he was going to change… he wanted her to be happy and safe… he wanted to see her smiling and laughing… he wanted A NEW BEGINNING!!!
Arjun in bed… got up and went to his DJ… he put his head on her lap…. She stroked his head and he started thinking about Geet… his best friend come sister…. How her life had been tragically changed… now all that was left was battle scars… it would take them time to forget this but for Geet's sake everyone must act normal around her… he wasn't going to leave Dev… no way…. Once he had done with the punishment from the police he was going to give him a punishment more… he focused on Geet… he hated seeing her lying there lifeless in Maan's arms… he would do anything to keep her happy.. he had to try and make sure Arohi would be okay… he knew she was broken by the sudden events that occurred…. But he had to make sure that no-one cted different infront of Geet. This was his priority.. he was going to keep Geet safe, happy and bring back the old Geet.. but with a few changes… he wanted Geet to have A NEW BEGINNING!!!!
Sandiyah was in pain… not physical pain but emotional pain… to see her best friend like that soo helpless… she shouldn't have persuaded Geet to come she thought… how wrong she was too think her and Geet could manage without the boys… she should have made Geet hide somewhere safe…. Not behind a big stupid tree… god… she was stupid at times…. If anything would have happened to Geet then she would never forgive herself… she had a new mission on her mind… mission bring Geet back… she was going to bring Geet back… the old bubbly happy Geet… the naughty Geet…. This was going to be hard be she will do it… she would do anything to make Geet forget her past… she needed to move on… she needed Geet to have A NEW BEGINNING!!!!!
Meera was glad she wasn't there to witness anything… she wouldn't be able to take the pain that Geet was going through… she knew how hard it was for Yash just to tell her and Arohi when he came to pick Arohi up… poor Geet she deserves some happiness after all the turmoil she went through… after all the pain and suffering she was going through… Geet needed a changed… A NEW BEGINNING!!!!!!
Arohi cried and cried when Yash told her… she hugged her brother so hard she herself was afraid of letting go… no-one dared tried and got her off. She needed the assurance… he needed the comfort… she wanted to meet Geet… see her… but Yash had told them not to go to her… she needed the rest.. she vowed to not let Geet remember her past or what she went through… she promised not to ask direct question about last night unless Geet herself decided to tell them… she was going to give Geet a chance for A NEW BEGINNING!!!!!!!
Geet slept for only 20 minutes…. Shekept dreaming of that horrible face…. He kept coming into her dreams to finish off what he had started… she woke up in fear…. She looked for Maan but he was nowhere in sight… instead she saw her parents there…. She realized that her parents now knew the truth….she didn't mind….she really anted Maan to be around…. she felt comfortable around Maan… something about him made her feel safe around him… his arms when around her were like a steel shield… that could protect her from anything and everything… his eyes were a pool which to where she could not physically but emotionally drown herself in… he was something she weren't looking for… but now she found him she liked it… he would help her forget her past… he would help her too move on…. She slept thinking about Maan… Nothing could go wrong with him around… with him she would like to start A NEW BEGINNING….>

A New Beginning…
Geet woke up… she slept like a log for 15 hours…. It had been over 15 hours since the incident… Geet woke up to a nice bright morning… she slowly got up off her bed and walked to the bathroom… she had a slight pain in her left leg and pain on her ribs… she hated feeling pain… but today she didn't mind as much…. Today she woke up with a new feeling…. She got ready and went downstairs…
There on the table was her entire family….
Everyone looked up at her and smiled.. she looked at her brothers.. she walked up to Yash and hugged him… she squeezed him and let him hug her back.. she needed him… she wanted to feel safe again…. She said sorry to him and kissed his cheek…
She walked up to Prem… Prem looked down guilty…. She frowned… she lifted his head up and smiled at him. Prem smiled back.. she then kissed his forehead… this wasn't just a smile this was a Geet handa I forgive you and its not your fault smile…. She loved Prem… she knew Prem would blame himself… so she decided to forgive him anyway…..she hugged Prem and said thank you xx
She walked upto aarjun and smiles at him…. She looked at his phone and kisses it… she kisses Arjun on the cheek… her smile tell everyone that she is going to be okay… she hugs Arjun and sits down next to him…. Smiling at Arohi she eats her breakfast….
Geet – Prem bhai …. ,mera chocoloate???
Prem smiles at her… he had totally forgot about the chocoloate…
Prem – kaun sa chocolate…
Geet opens her mouth and says haaaw….
She make a grumpy face….
She looks at Yash and says Dekhiya na veerji mujhe chocolate nahi day raha…
Yash – premm…
Prem – kya bhai aap bhi na… sara mood karab kar diya….. Geet laughed.. she laughed and laughed…
Everyone smiled….
