I used to take things personally when my favs were being bashed and now I feel like every single actor in bollywood just equally sucks. No question there. oh btw, I'm not a fan of anyone. I used to be. I might support someone for something, but I might as well enjoy them being criticized.

p.s. stop taking things personally people. LOL. your favorite will get a chance to get bashed soon enough.

Zainab, Thank you!! Finally a post I like after a long time in this IF. I used to hate Katrina (and I still do at her acting chops) but this forum changed it all. I am just amazed by how much bashing she gets and even the intellectual ones join in it too. For me, both deepika and kat seems same to me. If deeps is considered the new age modern, independent girl and the kat rightfully deserves that title as well. C'mon, the girl came from an outside world and worked her way up the ladder with the support of the bhai. Deep is also daughter of known sports star and was launched by the biggest superstar of the millenium. She has publicized her relationship and used her break up on her advantage as well. I don't understand why one is considered nari and other is mocked down for her skin color to her item no.s.

Anyways, have many more points to jot down but can't seem to think right now.

THIS one deserves a hall of fame for some of the best lines I've read in a long time...

I've "organized" them here for your reading pleasure... no offence. just for fun!!😊

It all started with...

POINT: It's like saying, "my wooden plank is better than your wooden plank, hollaaa."

COUNTERPPOINT:: one wooden plank ain't any better than another wooden plank...maybe the quality can differ

PHILOSOPHICAL POINT: I feel that ultimately there's no difference between Katrina and Deepika. If anything, I consider them to be one

FACT: I really don't find the discrepency between the bashing of the two - both are bashed equally

The love Life:

POINT: "...Deepu-Siddy are lovebirds, Ranbir-Katrina are sexually active animals."

COUNTERPOINT(with some confusion) : yeh kare toh rasleela...hum kare toh character deela" line in here too, but to do that, I first needa know what "rasleela" means.

PHILOSOPHICAL POINT: Kat's not a sexual animal, (people think) Ranbir is

The item number:

POINT: One item number is not better than the other, IMO. If one talks about her "jawaani" then the other talks about sitting on a potty...that too naked

COUNTERPOINT: Deepika has a lot of time to get hit item number, remember she is kat's junior

Dialogue Delivery:

POINT: Only shiqwa/gila I have against Kat is the fact she cannot speak hindi... its like saying I want to be a chemistry professor without knowing what H2O stands for

COUNTERPOINT: Deepika's dialogue delivery is like a run over Chihuahua, just as Katrina's dirty dog line

PHILOSOPHICAL POINT: I am a somewaht Kat fan..I always get excited when i see her films because I'll be amused by her attempts to be Indian

Member Bias

POINT:"It's like if Deepika is going to be "bashed" today by all the Katrina fans and everyone else on the forum, then tomorrow when something scandalous is published about Katrina, the Deepika fans will jump at the chance and take their e-revenge and rip her apart."

COUNTERPOINT: now If katrina has more things to be bashed for, its not my fault. Its not like deepika is my sister and katrina is a stranger.

GANDHIGiRI: Having said all that I'm not a fan of any of the two at all Though I prefer, Deepika on screen and Kat offscreen

BEST analogy for never ending war:

Attack - Mera wala "knicker" tumhare wale se better hai .. cause it comes with elastic where as urs is Nada wala ..

Counter attack - whateva .. You know you can adjust "nada" and elastic gets dheela...

MOST Profound thought:

Katrina's white, Deepika's not...that's God's fault.
