Scene 62
Dada Sahib was so happy. He was invited to a weeding in Delhi and he saw it as a perfect opportunity to meet Viren and Nivedita. They only reason to worry was that he could not take YD and VD with him, when he was going to meet them. Jaal had tried to contact Viren in the beginning, but because of Viren constant rejection, they seemed to accept that their son was gone. On the other hand, their son has chosen to live a middleclass life and this was not something they could support or live with. So they had told their friends that he was gone with his wife abroad. They had forgotten about their hatred towards Nivedita as well. So the problem was solved... out of sight, out of mind.
Jaal were more interested than earlier in Siddhart and Divya. They were their ticket to Sood inheritance and this chance was not to be missed by them. Divya and CC were very close now and there were lots of parties here and there they attended. On the other hand Jawaher worked hard with Siddhart and was not even trying to commit to make a mistake unintentionally to ruin the relationship.
In Sood Mansion there was quietness as if there was no one living. Viren and Nivedita had left and taken the happiness with them. Siddhart was he was, but they lacked the company of NivRen. All day VD, YD and Dada Sahib be together and had no one to talk to besides each other. They were so lonely and no one cared. There was lightness in the afternoon when Siddhart came home, but how long could they hold him, knowing Divya and her mood swings, when she was not given attention. Siddhart needed rest because Viren's successful assignment had given Sood Industries lots of work and attention. Sood Industries and Sood Mansion needed Nivedita and Viren.
Dada Sahib asked CC and Divya if they wanted to go with them. They had said clearly no and Dada Sahib decided to go with YD and VD. After knowing about Nivedita's work and Viren's promotion, he was so happy and had given this news to YD and VD. They couldn't understand why Viren was not talking with them, but how could Viren explain them that it was not that he was punishing them. But it was better that few people knew about Viren and Nivedita and their living for time being. He just couldn't tell them the reason, but he knew that one day, they all would understand.
Dada Sahib was staying at his friend's place and Viren was not liking the thought of showing the apartment to Dada Sahib. Their salary was enough for the livelihood, but they still lacked money to buy furniture and had begun to save money for it. Dada Sahib would have been sad seeing them living in that state. So Dada Sahib was going to meet Viren at his office.
When Dada Sahib arrived, Viren was waiting for him downstairs and took him to his cabin. All the staff was meeting Viren's grandfather and this was the day where Dada Sahib realized the difference between Viren and Siddhart. Siddhart was known as Bhupat Sood's grandson, but Bhupat Sood was known as Viren's grandfather. This was a unique gift given to him by Viren and this happiness was enough to compensate for the separation of a month from his grandson.
After showing Dada Sahib the office, Viren took him to Nivedita's office and here Dada Sahib got the same treatment. He kept thinking about being blessed with such angels in his life and was wondering why fate had given and yet not given them to him. He blessed them and then Nivedita surprised Dada Sahib with lunch made by her especially for him. He left them after a while and was hoping to get to relive these moments again.
On his way out, he heard about the publishing house problems with finance and struggle. He also got to know that it was due to Viren's constant support that they had survived until now and then he got an idea. He went back to Nivedita's cabin where Viren was comforting Nivedita, who was sad. He saw the love and respect these two had for him and decided to do something for them no matter what Viren said or do. He went towards his friends place with a plan in his mind and knew that he will get success after all he was Viren's grandfather.

Scene 63
Dada Sahib had sent VD and YD home and had said that he had some unfinished work to be done. Next day he surprised Viren in the office at lunch time. They got out of the building and sat at the nearest cafeteria. Dada Sahib said to Viren it had to be him who paid for the tea, since he was his guest. Viren smiled and nodded.
Dada Sahib said that he had an offer and that Viren should consider it. Dada Sahib said that he offered a partnership in the publishing house, where Nivedita was working. Dada Sahib said it was a deal between him and viren and not a deal between him and Sood Industries. Dada Sahib would be the sleeping-partner and he had free hands to what he wanted to do. Dada Sahib said that he wanted a fix amount every month in exchange. Viren looked at Dada Sahib smiled and said that he did not have money for the investment. Dada Sahib said that he could lend him some money from him and then pay him back gradually. Viren said that he saw loss in this deal for him. Dada Sahib was prepared for it.
He took some papers and gave them to Viren. Dada Sahib was the owner of the publishing house; actually half of it. He told him that he had made this deal with existing partner some years ago. The person was under same circumstances as Viren was, so Dada Sahib was not offering something different because he was his grandson. Dada Sahib gave him all the details and Viren listened. The existing partner was trying hard to get the business going, but like Dada Sahib had heard, they needed Viren a lot, so it was natural that Viren got the chance. Viren said that he had to discuss it with Nivedita and Dada Sahib was relieved.
Viren promised to call him in the evening. Dada Sahib said that he was in town the next few days so he had time to think. Viren was thinking about it on his way home. He was wondering what to do. He had seen oppurtunities in the publishing house and since the day they had consulted him, he had some visions about its future too. Then on the other hand he had his job and did not want to loose it either; at least not at the moment.
On his way home he went to meet his Friend and asked Him to guide him. He wanted to take the opportunity because he knew he was competent and was capable to do justice to the business. On the other hand, he wanted to create his own name on his own premises. Dada Sahib was actually offering him work on his own premesis and this was something that was not a part of the Soods. The last part was something he liked the most. Then again he needed to money for investment, and he did not have the money. He did not want to lend money from Dada SahibHe was confused and now when he had told his problem, he felt peace. And then the help came out of nowhere.
He went home late that day and Nivedita was worried. She was waiting impatiently and after Viren had sat down, she asked him gently if there was any problem. Viren signaled her to sit beside him and placed his head on her shoulder. He told her about his conversation with Dada Sahib. Nivedita asked him what he wanted to do, and Viren told her about what he had planned. It ended with Nivedita giving him consent and Viren Called Dada Sahib to fix the meeting.
Next day both Nivedita and Viren met Dada Sahib at the same cafeteria. Viren told him him that they were accepting the deal, but he had some alternations to the deal. Dada Sahib was listening and Viren said that he was only going to say yes because he had money for the investment. Dada Sahib was surprised and asked that where did he get money from. Viren told him that he had while living in Delhi he had saved some money and worked part-time for enjoyment and had money from there too. He had put them in a fix deposit and had forgotten all about it before now.
Viren said yes to the offer and said that the rent of the apartment and a fix amount for the publishing house will be paid to him as earlier said and then he talked about consequences for himself in case he couldn't pay. Dada Sahib was not happy about the last part, but Viren had put that as a condition, so it was nothing to do.
Viren had decided to continue his job and work alongside with that on the publishing house. He had Nivedita working there already and Yash could also help him somewhat. So he had thought about and said yes. He liked impossible situations and with security in his job, he could afford to take this chance and time worked in his favor.
It took Viren and Nivedita 6 months to establish the publish house and make it a successful one. Viren managed work in daytime and in afternoon he and Nivedita dealt with the publish house related issues. Most of all, Viren gave his monthly installments on time and publishing house had begun to give profit. Nivedita was very good at picking books to publish from English to Hindi and vice versa; so alongside with that they were giving new authors fair chance, they manged to establish a good relation with bookstores and Viren's marketing scales worked out.
Yash managed to help them with publishing house and that's how all three of them made this to a successful project. It suited Viren well that Yash already was in the field with them, because in future he could manage it by himself in case he wanted to do something else. Keshav and Pratap helped them by establishing some contacts in Shimla and this helped their growth as well. In short, there day/night work was paying of. Dada Sahib was amazed over the success publish house was getting. After six months the publish house was among the best ones.
Viren's secret of business was that he only took the work, he knew he could complete. He did not borrow money from here or there. He managed to get work on money he had in his hands and he managed to do it in a way that everyone included in the deals felt safe. Nivedita's creativity was appreciated and most of all, Nivedita was happy to work with Viren. They had an awesome working chemistry and they trusted each other's instincts. If Nivedita said no to something and argumented for it; Viren said no to it as well and vise versa.
Viren used his free time between all this to thank and talk to his Friend and sometime went there with Nivedita. After six months, they had got furniture in the house and even though Viren wanted to shift to a bigger apartment, then for Nivedita this was a paradise and she did not want to go anywhere else.
Because of the increasing succes in Delhi and Shimla, Jaal decided to meet Nivedita and Viren.
