Geet got up clumsily and tip-toed to the terrace. When she got in the terrace, she called Maan again...

She released herself with a jerk and found Maan smiling at her... Ma... -before she could finish...Maan knelt and down and held his ears...

Geet turned her face away...she wasn't angry but looking forward to see how Maan would manaofy her. She was enjoying every bit...She giggled softly and thought- babaji! ab akal thikaane aayegi...! Maan Singh Khurana ki akad nikal nahi di to mera naam bhi Geet Handa nahi... She patted herself

he kissed the nape of her neck and then placed a soft peck on her shoulders... She gasped! He left her for a moment and bolted the door. Now...He advanced towards her again and she moved back...
There was a long silence between them. Geet's eyes told her untold story of grief she went through after she saw Maan reacting with her in the way he did. She had never thought that her childhood best friendy would have done that.
Maan saw her eyes with a shock.

Maan cupped her face with his hands and turned her face towards him... He kissed her lips and then her eye-lids...Geet's eyes got flushed with tears...he kissed-dried them all.

A long silence again crept on the balcony... Heavy footsteps broke the silence. Geet got scared and hugged Maan...

Maan places a soft peck on Geet's lips and jumps down the balcony...other side...brij opens the door and finds Geet looking down...
Oye Geet! tu yahaan kya kar rahi hai..? (Geet starts shivering thinking of the excuses) She doesn't answer and so Brij jerks her.
Geet...main kuch pooch raha hoon...?

tu yahaan kya kar rahi hai...aur neeche kya dekh rahi hai...

Brij looks down and sees no one. Geet! tu ekdum jhalli hai. Raat ke barah baje tu chhat pe kya kar rahi hai gudiya?
Veerji...pehle aap mujhe gudiya mat bola kariye...main itni badi ho gayin hoon. Aur waise bhi...aap to jaante hain na ki mujhe chhat pe aana achcha lagta hai...mujhe neend nahi aa rahi thi...isliye yahaan aa gayi...
He taps her and leaves... She heaves a sigh of relief. She looks down to confirm Maan has gone and retreats to her room. She shuts her door smiling and then peacefully lies on her bed thinking of Maan... What else she could think...!
She is about to fall asleep when hands encircle her. She wakes up surprised and sees Maan...
Maan! aap yahaan bhi...mujhe marwayenge aap!
So jao...tumhare saath delhi mein zyada time hi nahi spend kar paaya...
Daadima mera murder kar dengi!

Daarji: Maan puttar ne suna hai ek naya puraskar jeeta hai...khabar chapi and photo ke saath
Geet: Kya jeeta daarji?
Brij: Geet unhone ne youngest businessman ka award jeeta hai!
Geet felt really proud...: kis newspaper mein photo hai...i mean...news hai!
Brij: yeh le!
Geet snatched the paper and looked blankly at Maan's photo
He looked so handsome...! She went to her room and called Maan...
Geet: Hi!
Maan: hmm! kya hua...main abhi tak pahuncha nahi!
Geet: main jaanti hoon! pata hai aapki photo chapi hai...paper mein...and you look damn handsome...!
Maan: kyun chapi hai?
Geet: aapne jo award jeeta hai...uske liye!
Maan: hmm... achcha Geet main flight board kar raha hoon...will call you later...bye!
Geet: hmm...bye!
She fell on her rolling hugging the newspaper. She didn't realize when rano entered her room
Rano: Oye Geet! Kya kar rahi hai...tu abhi bhi changi nahi hui hai?
Geet stuck her tongue out: Sorry Mamma...!
Rano: le...juice...
Geet: yuck...karele ka...mamma...mujhe karele ka juice nahi peena...
Rano: zidd nahi...pe chal...
Geet: mamma...!
Rano ordered her to drink and she drank in one go with her nose closed...
In the evening, Geet sat to study...she never missed the track of her studies whatsoever. That was the reason...she had topped the Medical Entrance Exam...
But inside...she was waiting for Maan's call.
