Part 24.

Recap; Maaneet making out pic is forwarded, Maan is worried and is fuming at his staff. Geet comes in the office and already knows about the pic. She kisses Maan infront of everyone in resilience. Maan is proud of her sherni behaviour. Maan goes goo goo gaga over her.

"Hello Geet, sorry tum so rehi thi main office aa gaya bahut zaroori kaam tah". Geet made a rootna face. "Haa haan ab meri kya kadar ab poori tara pasa jo liya hain".

"Geet tum mujse naraaz ho apne Maan se?" he jokingly asked.

"Nahin Maan bas aap ka chehra subah nahin dekha toh din hi nahi acha shuroo hua, aaj ka din hi karaab hain" she threw the clothes on the floor.

"Arre mera gussa bechare kapro par".

"Aap aap ko kaise pata maine kapre penke?"

"Geet tum meri aadi jaan ho toh muje nahin pata hoga toh kiss ko?"

"Acha ziyada maska mat lagaiye".

"Geet aaj mere liye lasagne aur apple crumble banana please".

"Aur bhi koi khukam ho to batana"

"Aik hain muje tumari poorani adai dekhni hain, wo kiya gaati thi tum maar dala aur mere seene se lag ja uss tara ka"

"Aapka matlab hain mujra sunana chahte hain"

"Haan shaadi ke baad tum bahut boring ho gai ho" he teased her.

"Toh aapko mera mujra acha lagta tah?"

"Acha lagta tah?! Sweetheart tum toh jaan leva balaa ho jab tum nachti aur ghaati ho".

Geet put the phone down and her mind started to think over time. Maan had done so much to her. She had promised herself she would never perform ever AGAIN. But this was for her Maan. She wanted to see his smile and his data on her performance. He had watched it a couple of times but never complimented her so today was the day she would get his proper opinion.

Geet firstly prepared lasagne for Maan and put in the over and then made the apple crumble as well. Then she cleaned up. Dadima had gone for a couple of days round her cousins house so she had no problem regarding being caught.

Geet got out her black long chooridaar dress. It had silver embroidery and diamontes. Her jewlellery was dazzling silver. She wore tikka, joombar, earrings necklace. And to top it off she had ghungroo on. She hid from Maan.

She text Maan "Maan main bahar shopping keliye gai hoon, maine aapke kapre bed par rak diye hain aap change karke neeche khaana ka lena xxx". Maan was a bit taken back but he thought maybe she needed something. He went upstairs and showered and saw she had left his white kurta pajama. He wore it and went to eat. He enjoyed his lasagne and apple crumble. Maan felt lonely as he wished Geet was there to share the food. He finished his food that his phone beeped "Maan tai chi ke area main aajaiye".

"Geet ghar pe ti? Toh mere paas kyon nahin ayi?" Maan was curious so he got up and washed his hands. He looked excited as he did not know what to expect. The area was dark but only lit by small candles. He edged closer and closer. He heard the noise of gungroo. He went a bit further with his heart beating fast. Infront of his eyes he saw Geet dressed in black sitting. She had her dupatta over her face covering . The music started.

She sings the first stanza slowly and gesturing with her hands that she is sacrificed on his charms. Maan can see her eyes through her dupatta but her she has left the lips uncovered. Maan sat down on the low sofa and smiled.

Geet dances and dances and then goes sad remembering her past with her parents and remembering Maan taking her away from that hell.

Geet grabs the flying curtains and expresses her sorrow and Maan looks on feeling guilty he reminded her of her past.

She winks and dances again. Maan gets up and comes near her and picks her up and walks off.

"Geet ye sab mere liye?"

"Haan aap mujra sunana chahte teh na? Maine aapke liye ye lika, kaise laga?"

"Bahut hi acha, main tumari adaao pe vari hoon Geet".

He opened the door and sat Geet on the bed.

"Maan aap muje aaj kuch mere bare main batai, ke kaise aapko main lagti thi kya aap muje pasand karte teh etc etc".

He cupped her face

"Geet aaj tum bahut achi lagti ho, acha pehli baar maine tume show main dekha tumari beauty aur tumare dance ne toh muje blew me away. Mera tume bachana uss gunde se aik conincidence tah. Pir jab tum mujse pyar karne lagi toh main dar gaya ke tum toh aik tawaif ho par dil hi dil main main tume apnana chahta ta.Tumari awaaz tumari dance tumari aadai aur tumari khubsurati ne muje ghayal kar diya and the rest is history. Muje bahut garv hain ke tum meri patni ho".

"Maan ye adaai ye khubsoorati aur ye nachna aapke liye hain sirf aapke liye, main aapse se bahut pyar karti hoon".

Geet hugged Maan and Maan sighed

"Geet I love you like crazy par ab main sochta hoon ke mere haat se tume koun bachai ga?".

Maan grabbed Geet and pinned her down. There was a lot of passion and wrestle but love won it all the way.
