He's lost, and right now, he doesn't trust Caroline because she's been lying to him, and the one person he can trust is someone in authority. So I don't hate Matt. and if you guys really think about it..what Matt did is actually quite normal compared to what Tyler did. Tyler basically tortured her because she lied to him. The way the werewolves put her in the case and shot wooden bullets at her was just plain mean when compared to what Matt is doing. Mean is not even strong enough to describe what they did to her. Tyler didn't even have a nice reason for doing what he did..he was just mad because she lied to him and he felt betrayed.. but Matt lost his sister because of vampires. He's human..and any human would react in the same way in that sort of a situation. Hell, he thought his sister was crazy because she cried Vampires..and now he just found out it was all true. I think part of the reason Matt is doing all of this is because he feels guilty for not believing Vicki when she told him about all this..he blames himself and all the vampires for her death.

Looking from Caroline's point of view, yes I'm mad at Matt but I understand where he's coming from. He'll come around eventually..when he thinks with a calm mind and realizes that Caroline is not to blame.

I wonder what Matt will do when he finds out everything that happened to Vicki is Damon's fault. damn, those two didn't get along in the books and now they're not going to get along in the show too!

i hope matt will come around!
