In Maan's room, Daadima is applying oil in Maan's head. Maan bete, jaante hai...aapki Geet ki photo hai humare paas...dekhenge... Sach mein daadima! dikhaiiyye...nahi mujhe de dijiye main kal dekhoonga...shayad main usse mila hoon! Lijiye bete.! Daadimaa leaves. Maan is gazing at the envelope... He is curious about seeing Geet's face...
Next Day, Maan gets up early and gets ready. He goes out to see if his new friend 'jhalli was still sleeping. He tiptoes into her room and finds her sleeping peacefully. The sun's rays are directed towards her face which is shining like a crystal. He sits on the chair beside her bed and puts his hands over Geet's face so that the sunshine don't wake up this living sunshine on earth. He is so engrossed in her. At the spur of the moment, he wakes up from his slumber and regrets for thinking about this girl and forgetting his Geet who was somewhere here in the marriage. This thought is so loud that it wakes up 'jhalli'. She is shocked to see akdu near her bed. She almost screeches but Maan closes her mouth and asks her to be quite. Geet is embarrassed to see Maan in her room watching her sleep when she is not in proper dress. Aap...Aap aise-kaise aa gaye yahaan pe. Maine to kapde bhi dhang ke nahi pehne... Please aap yahaan se jaaye.. please.... She almost cries cladding the blanket tightly to her. Achcha...sorry...main to dekhne aaya ki tum so rahi ho ki nahi. Actually main aaj so nahi paaya...to socha tumse baat kar loon. Geet's mouth gaped wide open. Aap....Aap hi hai na? I mean us din...aapka chehra itna gusse se phoola tha ki lag raha tha ki abhi burst ho jayega...gubbare ke jaise... lollz!. Tumhe humesha mera mazak udhana aata...jao main nahi baat karoonga tumse... Geet speaks to herself eh lo babaji, itni si baat pe naak chada ke chale gaye... jaao main bhi nahi boloongi inse...dekhe kitni der Geet se naraaz ho sakte hain...Sorry-Sorry babaji aapko good morning karna bhul gayi...sorry...galti ho gayii.... Geet attired herself in jeans and tee-shirt and went for breakfast where Maan was sitting beside Karan. She took the other seat and started staring Maan along the full length of her nose. People went to pieces when she gave this frosty-nosed stare of hers... But Maan seemed unaffected but in his inner vision, he couldn't have pictured someone staring at The Maan Singh Khurana. He thought that jhalli would atleast try to manaofy him but no...instead she was staring at him. She wanted Salt which was near Maan. She called Karan who gave her the salt. At this point of time Maan was very sure that Geet would talk to him and ask for salt, but Geet was very smart in this issue. Finally, he gave up and went to her room after the breakfast to apologize- first time for him. Geet was sitting in front of the dresser and settling her entangled hair. She was pretty sure that she been ignoring Maan since morning and he would definitely come to beg forgiveness.
She said sternly- Yeh aapka kamra nahi hai...aap chale jaaye...mujhe apne kamre mein strangers nahi pasand. She rose to close the door behind him. He held her hand tightly and pulled her to himself. Mera haath chodiye...akdu kahine ke... Nahiin to? Nahii tooo....haan nahi to main chillaongi...! He closed her mouth. Ab kaise chillaogi? jhalli... mmmmmmm.... Chup, bilkul chup...humesha bolti rehti ho... ab tum sunogi aur main bolunga... ummm I was very rude...and... mmm... And i am ...umm very...ummm sorry! He released her. Waah kya tareeka hai na sorry bolne ka!...chaliye maaf kiya...lekin aap promise kijiye ki aap kabhi choti baat pe mujhse naraaz nahi honge.? Promise?? Ummm...achcha theek hai nahi hounga tumpe naraaz,... Chalo kahin ghum ke aate hain...coffee?? theek hai...pur main coffee nahi piyoongi...mujhe nahi achchi lagti... Theek hain tumhe jo lena hoga le lena... fine? Achcha okay chaliye.
They go to a local coffee shop where Geet orders Ice-Cream and Maan gets his coffee. They talk about how they met Karan but surprisingly don't mention about Maan by Geet and Geet by Maan. They confine their discussion to Maan's business and Geet's studies. After a while rano calls Geet.
Geet beta...kahaan hain tu? Aaj shaadi hai tujhe tayyar hone mein bhi time lagega. Aa jaldi se...
oh babaji...5 baj gaye...chalo akdu chalen...shaadi ki tayyari bhi to karni hai ki nahi.. They had spent an entire day in the cafe...They came back and went to their rooms. Maan's daadi was with rano waiting for Geet. She was smitten by Geet's beauty while Geet found it really hard to recognize her. Geet beta...aapne humein pehchaana. Hum Maan ki daadi hain...humein pata chala ki aap yahaan hai to hum aapse milne chale aaye. Namaste Daadi...aur aap kaisi hai?... Hum theek hain...aap bataiye ki aap kaisi hai? Main...Main to ekdum changi hoon. Maan had been searching for daadima... dev told him that he had seen daadi ma going to that room-pointing at Geet's room. Maan wonders as to what daadima was doing at jhalli's house. He paced through the corridor and entered the room finding daadima talking to the same girl with Maan Singh Khurana written on her hand. Daadimaa, aap yahaan kya kar rahi hai? Maan bete, aap humein laga aap Adi se baat kar rahe honge.. Hum aapki Geet se baat kar rahe the... Geet's heart froze hearing 'aapki Geet'. Maan was inches away from her but she couldn't gather the courage to look around to see his face. Maan too blushed. Daadimaa turned Geet around. Geet looked up to find akdu standing. Geet bete, aap mile ki nahi Maan se... Geet's mouth dried. She had been with Maan since 3 days and wasn't able to recognise him.
Maan- for him, he was the happiest person in the world. He was with Geet all the time. Geet blushed and ran away from the place to the balcony. She had Karan's envelope in hand. She opened it to see the photo
She was regretting her decision for delaying seeing the photo. She would have known before-hand who was Maan and how he looked. Maan too went to his room and took out the photo.
For a moment he was lost. He regained his consciousness and asked Geet's mother for the whereabout of Geet. She frankly replied that she had no idea. Maan remembered that whenever Geet was happy she headed towards open area. He straightaway went to the balcony finding Geet crying. Geeeet? Geet's heart-froze. She turned around and clung to Maan and started crying.
He consoled her and they both sat in the balcony ignorant of the outside world, just lost in each other. They didn't care for what the people would say. Geet was sitting on his lap and cried monotonously...
