I mean seriously 🤣🤣!!! Our phatakkkk couple never gets old ☺️! Bechara Sid! "His smile faded" ROFL 🤣!!!!!!

And of course:

Riddhima cupped his face and kissed his cheek where she slapped a moment ago. She kissed his other cheek and started sobbing. Finally she crashed into his arms crying and clutching him tightly. He wrapped her in his arms and walked to the couch.

Hayyeee 😍! Phatak followed by hugs and kisses..... ☺️

PART 23

It was a pleasant morning. Riddhima woke up to the warm sunlight and the chirping birds. She blink open her eyes still lying on the bed. A sweet smile played on her lips 'Sid..' She recollected all that happened the previous day. Her mind replayed all the incident's. Riddhima's smile widened when she thought of Shilpa... her lil sister! And she flushed on the thought of her falling asleep in Sid's arm.
'wait a minute! where is Sid!? and where am i!!' She thought getting up and looking around. Of course she is in her room... in the penthouse.
'But... last thing i remember is sleeping in Sid's arm on the couch.... how did i end up here' She jumped out of the bed hurriedly 'No way it can be a dream!' She finally calm down when she saw a note and a red rose on the coffee table at the bedside. She took the note. It read

"Hey my beautiful wife... :)

I just wanna tell you that
I love you love you love you love you so much...! :)"

Riddhima's Sid! :)

Riddhima blushed. 'Siddhant... where are you!' She decided to scan her house and finally saw her cute doc sleeping in the guest room.
Riddhima : 'hmm... so my permanent patidev needs special invitation to sleep with me..?' She giggled and hoped to the bed where Sid was sleeping. She climbed on to the bed slowly, kissed his cheek. She threw away the pillow Sid was hugging and cuddled to his side taking his arm and wrapping it around her.
Sid's lips twitched to a smile. He had heard the door open and stayed still to see what his dear wifey was up to. Once he made sure she settled herself in his arms he spoke in his husky voice 'Slept well...?' Riddhima tilted her face to see Sid smiling at her. She planted another kiss on his nose and settled back. 'No..! Why did you leave..?' She complained.
Sid : 'i thought that's what you wanted...'
Riddhima : 'No... this is what i want...' She snuggled closer to him. Sid smiled and tightened his grip on her... pulling her more closer to him.
Sid : 'Then this is what you'll get...'
Riddhima blushed 'Just this...?'

Sid's heart skipped a beat 'No.... also this...' He swayed away the lock of hair from her neck and kissed her. "and this...." He kissed her earlobe. His every touch gave her goosebumps. "and this..." he kissed her cheek. Riddhima felt a sudden tinge of unexplainable emotion which she has never felt before. She shivered with pleasure. "and this..." he kissed her lips, ever so softly, ever so gently... and settled back digging his head back to her nape and holding her more tightly "rest i'll demonstrate at night" Riddhima pinched his arm and blushed.

The two were so comfortably snuggling that they didn't feel like getting up at all. They were relaxed and there was nothing else in their mind. Nor work, or the fact that they skipped their dinner last night. Only thing that mattered is they are in each others arm and it felt like being in heaven. They were quiet, eyes closed and a smile played on their lips. At the first glance it looked they were enjoying this feeling of being in each others arm. But looking closely you somehow get the feeling that they were indeed conversing... their souls were conversing... and they seemed to understand what the other was thinking... the smile was because they knew what their better-half was thinking. A little later the two dozed off again.

This time Riddhima woke up hearing constant ringing of the door bell and loud thuds on the door. She, without waking Sid, got out of his embrace and walked to the door. She opened the door to find a worried Shilpa there.
Shilpa : "Di!!" She hugged her "God you scared us!" Why aren't you both in the hospital and why ain't you picking up your phone!"
Before Riddhima could answer her she felt a strong hold around her waist. Sid rested his chin on her shoulder with a smile
Sid : 'Hey Saali...? Why so early..?'
Shilpa grinned seeing the two happily married couple but said with a straight face 'Duhh! It's 11!'
Siddhima: "Oh.."
Shilpa : "So..."
Sid : "hmm... i guess... may be... we should take a day off..?" He looked at Riddhima raising his brows. But once again she was cut by the ringing of phone.
Sid : 'i'll check'

Sid: 'Hello..?
Sid : "Yes Dad... Sure dad... Okay Dad..."

Both Riddhima and Shilpa gazed at Sid trying to make sense of his one word responses.

Sid : "It's dad... He has called us over for lunch..."
Riddhima stiffened "Papa....! God i forgot i hadn't mentioned them anything about staying overnight here or working night shift in hospital! They must have been really worried'

Shilpa : 'but papa... i mean Dr.Shashank knew you were here di...'
The two girls looked at Sid confusedly. He grinned. Riddhima walked over to him and locked her arms to his waist and squeezed him 'thank you...'
Shilpa smiled at the two and called out to them 'alright you both, i'll see you tomorrow in hospital.'Bye di.. bye Sid..! Have fun! She winked at them and rushed out.

Sid & Riddhima reached at Gupta's on time. She was a bit nervous and embarrassed. Though she knew she wasn't that 'confused soul' anymore a lot of them weren't so sure. Especially her dad and mom. They were equally affected by Riddhima's roundabout. She didn't know after the hooplah she created in Sanjeevani couple of months back, how to convince them that she indeed belonged to Sid and she loved Sid... it's just that it took her a bit to realize that. She was blinded by the cloud of her ex that stopped her from seeing the man she truly loved... the man she wanted to grow old with.... the man she couldn't live her life without.... her love of life... the one who owned her heart.... her prince charming.... her Siddhant Modi..! The cloud would have vanished eventually and her soul would have recognized her love, her Sid. But the procedure paced when someone(Dr.Brian) took initiative off blowing away the cloud so she could see the face behind the cloud clearly.
But what surprised them was Riddhima's soul had already knew it was Sid... it's her stubbornness and weird conclusion's that kept her from breaking the barrier.

Shashank opened the door with a wide smile.
'aaaah so finally...!' Riddhima found it really hard to meet his eyes. Sid patted her back to calm her down and she looked at Dr. Shashank. 'SO Riddhima... it's Sid huh..?'
Riddhima : 'Yes papa...'
Shashank : 'You sure...?' He asked making a skeptical face.
Riddhima lean on to Sid giving him a side hug. She gazed into his brown eyes and said with a proud confident smile 'It's always been Sid...I have never been this sure papa...'
Dr. Shashank clasped his hands in sheer joy and welcomed them in. As he turned back, Sid quickly gave Riddhima a peck on her forehead. The two walked-in hand in hand. They settled on the couch in living room and chatted along. Soon Padma joined them. Siddhima were literally inseparable. They didn't leave each others hand even for a moment and seeing the two so into each other Shashank & Padma were over the moon.

Shashank : "Alright then... what say we continue this chat over lunch. I am quite hungry." He smiled.

Sid glanced at Riddhima and she simply nodded. Shashank looked at the telepathic couple in bewilderment. He wondered if he missed what they spoke because it certainly looked they were having a deep conversation but their lips hardly moved. Shashank cleared his throat to grab their attention.

Riddhima looked at Shashank and continued : "Actually papa... mamma.. ... i have to tell you something..." Her grip on Sid tightened as she unveiled the truth behind Shilpa's true identity.

As Riddhima spoke about her lil sister Shashank and Padma were aghast. Padma clutched on to Shashank for support and he held her tight as the two listen to Riddhima in uttermost amazement.

Riddhima : "mamma... papa... it's not her fault that she was born to him.... as much as i hate him i cant deny the fact that she is my little sister.... and i have accepted her into my life.... i want to know if you...."
Before Riddhima could complete, Padma got up and fled to her room. Shashank followed and Siddhima were on their feet not knowing what to do.
Riddhima never intended to pressurize her parents to accept Shilpa. She just wanted them to know the truth.
In the morning Riddhima had spoken to Sid about Shilpa's future... and how she is her responsibility now... Sid had said with a chuckle "FYI she was my sister first, then you came! So technically i have more right on her than you!" Riddhima was so overwhelmed. He just didn't respect her alone, but everyone who is related to her as well.
'Sid...' Riddhima embraced him saying a small prayer thanking god for bringing him into her life.

Shilpa : "Oh god Nick! Now don't tell me you are soooo busy that you don't even have an hour to come and see me!" she snarled through the phone!
Nick : "hey hey listen don't hang up on me"
Shilpa : "No you listen mister! Unless you come and apologize for your behavior i am not gonna attend any of your calls! Good bye!" She disconnected the call and smirked.
Her phone rang again. She was gonna reject the call when she saw Sid's name flashing.
Shilpa : "Hey Sid..?" hmm... Oki.. gimme half an hour!"

She rushed to the locker room to get her stuff. She was surprised she couldn't find her bag. She remembered she had left it in the recreation room and strolled. Shilpa was taken aback by a man's figure there. The lights where dim and the man had his back to her. Shilpa walked towards the figure! "OH MY GOD!!!" She rushed to him and hugged him from behind! "I knew you would come!! But this is a surprise!!" She squealed.
His grey eye's narrowed as his lips twitched to a smile.

Nice update. Thanks for the pm. Seriously please don't get the sitaraman in for another 2-3 updates. I just want to read Siddhima and not the sitaraman. Now the story is really progressing well. Looking forward to the next update.
