Chapter 9

It's the picnic morning……….everyone is bz packing stuff………..n loading those into their cars……the Soods have arranged for a big RV……..n had invited Sharmas to ride with them.

More then anyone else……it was Viren and Nivi who were excited………Nivi's excitement….also had this hesitation in it……….but Viren…..he was looking forward to spending time with his friends…..especially Nivi.

Viren comes out to help Nandu….load stuff into the RV……n then he looks towards Sharma house……n was about to go……when Chanchal asks him…….hey Viren………where do u think u r going ???.....cmon help us out…..we have so much small stuff to load.

Viren turns to his mom to make an excuse……n like god-sent…..Sid comes right then as his excuse…..n says……Viren…..can u go check Naintara dadi and hemlata chachi……..they might also need some help na.

Viren smiled in Sid's half sentence itself n before anyone else can stop him…..he runs towards their house…..he sees Nivi coming out with stuff in her hand………n was about to go to her…..when he sees Divya.

Divya……was coming down the stairs n saw Viren running towards her house…..she got excited n saw Nivi coming out……she thought to herself…..oh ho Nivi…..why r u being kabab mein haddi…………..n so thinking that she runs towards Nivi n says…….Nivi…..i'll keep this…..u go get the other stuff.

So she took the tiffin carrier n the basket from Nivi's hands n came outside…….VIren…..in frustration runs his fingers in his hair…….n blurts out slowly…..arre yaar……does this girl have some kind of a signal or what…….otherwise how else cud she know when I'm coming……..he sighs deeply shaking his head.

When Divya comes….he takes those from her hands n says……let me put this away………why don't u take a seat in the RV……I think we are almost about to start.

Divya smiles n goes towards the RV……..n after putting the stuff away…..Viren was returning to Nivi's place when he sees Nivi coming out with Naintara….and yash…….He again sighs deeply in frustration that he was not getting a chance to get close to Nivi…..n so he goes inside the RV.

Everyone was about to leave……when they see a car entering their driveway………n a girl steps out of it……n Viren n Sid walks towards her………n asks…….Pooja…..how come u r here ??

Pooja was Yashodhara's sister's granddaughter……….and another childhood buddy of Sood brothers.

Pooja says……..I was gonna spend the week at ur place……but looks like u guys are going somewhere.

Vandana and Yashodhara gets down from the RV n says…….oh so what…….why don't u come with us too…….so if u have come here to spend time with us…..then lets go.

Pooja gets excited n so does Sood brothers………..n they all start their journey.

Divya noticed that Nivi was talking to either Sidharth or Vandana………..n Viren…..for whom she was excited to spend some time with……..is being so close n flirty with Pooja………she makes a face n goes to her mom……n Hemlata……as though got an awesome chance……didn't let go of it….n so she says……See……that is who u r crazy about……..n look at him……he looks like….he'll be head over heels for any girl he gets……..thats y I tell u to be friends with Sid………..u have no sense of choice….ha Divya.

Divya gets mad at her mom……coz as it is she is upset with Viren…..n now her mom….is killing her by talking about Sid…………so she says rudely……u look at ur choice mom……….he is not leaving Nivi's side for one second……….n u want me to hook up with him……….sayng this she rolls her eyes n turns away.

Hemlata loos at Nivi….with so much anger…..but in a place….filled with so many people….she cant even scold Nivi for her actions….so she just swallows all the anger….n puts on a fake smile on her face……….Vandana on the other hand….was getting happy watching Nivi and Sid together…..n they were looking very comfortable in talking to each other.

It was this comfortableness between Sid n Nivi……that was making Viren angry…..or more likely jealous……coz he never felt her being so comfortable with him……….n thinking this he turns away to pooja n starts talking to her.

Nivi was talking to Sid……but all her heart was where Viren was……she was not looking when he was….but she was noticing his closeness with Pooja…….at first she thought…..he is using the girl to keep Divya away……….but she felt like it was she who was dying of jealousy.

And after that night's incident between them………she was so disturbed………..his closeness had so much affect on her…..that everytime she breathed……she cud smell his scent around her……..n it was drivng her crazy…..as though Viren is always with her like a shadow………All these thoughts still roaming in her mind…….she returns back to her conversation with Sid.…..with the heavy heart.

Sid had always admired Nivi…….coz to him…..she was one such girl who was independent in thoughts…but never left behind her sanskaar…….Sid holds Nivi's hand n says……..Nivi I've something to tell u…………..but I'm waiting for the right time……..n I know it'll come as a shock for u……but please…..i want u to understand me when I say that to u.

Nivi gets all worried n asks…………what is it Sid ??........why cant u tell me that right now ??

Sid says……no……it needs to be told on the right time………n I know more then anyone else……it'll be u who will understand me.

Nivi puts her hand on his……n in a very compassionate tone says…….i'm ur friend Sid………..i'll not only try to understand but will support u when needed.

Viren was passing by them to get a can of Coke……n watching her hold Sid's hand was like too much to digest for him…………he stopped where he was n out of the blue speaks up……….Sid…….Hemlata chachi wants to talk to u.

Nivi…as soon as she hears Viren's voice……had no guts to even look at him…..she was afraid that he cud read the love n longing for him in her eyes…..Sid is confused as to what Hemlata wants to talk to him about…..so he says…..really ??......let me go n check.

Sid gets up to go n Viren immediately takes his seat…..Sid walks upto Hemlata n asks…….chachiji did u call me ??.........Hemlata was still thinking…….n Sid says……..i thought u sent Viren to call me ??

Hemlata thanks her good stars….n Viren ofcourse………n says………yeah Sid……..actually Divya was feeling a little sad……I don't know why……….why don't u comfort her…………….Sid looks at her in confusion so she says immediately…………I mean u r her friend na………so u'll be able to understand n comfort hr more than us I think.

Strangely…to sid……..it was the exact same thing Hemlata was telling what he just said to Nivi…..so he agrees n Hemlata gets up from there n goes n sits by chanchal n Sid takes the seat next to Divya…..who was just making faces…..n getting annoyed by what her mom did just now.
