Surbi is a good character yaar. Parul is doing full justice to the role. Only thing is that the CTs should give something more to keep the interest of the viewers.

Parul deserves better.

I haven't seen much honor killing on news channel (actually never) 😕 Maybe I watch it on wrong times or it's because I watch mostly German news 😲 Well, Colors is actually the only channel, I know, which has enough courage, to show such things, which are reality. Other channels don't do it that much, looking at star one, which shows only sweet, sweet love-stories 😕 'Pratha' has a lot of negativity in it, as I already said, but the show shouldn't only show the negative aspect of the life of people, who are victims of 'honor killing'. The soap is there, to raise its voice against honor killing and sure, this hasn't happen till now, but it'll take some time. Just yesterday, Surbhi questioned Mayi and Markhande's 'Pratha' and even went against it, by feeding Lakshmi. Sure, it isn't much, seeing what other bad stuff is shown there, but it was a first step for the main actress and it showed, that now, that Surbhi is getting bolder, she won't accept everything, the family is doing and Abhay for sure will support his wife, as he too knows, what his family does is completely wrong.

But then again, it depents on the viewer, who's watching the soap, if he/she likes its concept or not. Some thinks, it's good, that they show that in TV-soaps too, coz it brings us to think about such things, which happen in our society. Others don't like it, coz they can't stand the mass of negativity. So, it just depends on the person, who watchs it; every individual has his/her own likings 😉

In Germany ? I don't know a thing about Germany. I was talking about India of course. Few days back, honour killings were the hot topic here. That's the reason this serial was made in the first place.

Of course, if the serial showed something which would bring about positivity in human beings, then it would have been acceptable. But this serial is merely highlighting honour killings, showing so many things about it. The people in the house behave the same way..they feel honour killings are a must. Of course, they'd change one day or other. But how many years do we have to wait for that ?

Instead, they could have tried bringing about positivity in the show. But every other article about the show speaks about more negativity. Now seriously, I don't like it.

P.S: Surbhi is no different from any other character. She is just trying to be mahaan..& I hate these mahaan characters. Have some backbone instead ! Jeeezzz !

Ragini was better in many ways. Surbhi is just shy, scared, and romantic. No different from any other heroine.

As for real topics, Bidaai used to deal with real topics in the beginning too. They didn't show only negativity. Instead, they tried to show such a lot of positive things about a handsome young man like Ranveer, falling for a dark girl Ragini. A dark girl who is considered a taboo in the society. That's the positive aspect of the show I am talking about. Alas ! I see nothing of such in RSBP.

But still I'll keep in touch with it coz of Parul 😆

I know, you were talking about India, yaar 😆 Really? Hm, didn't know about that, but then again, I don't have to do much with India 😒

There are human beings in the show with a positiv character, yet we can't deny, that there are also a lot of human being, who can't be considered as such. They will show negativity about honor killing, before starting to change it and bring positivity, that's just so and to stop the honor killing in the soap, they have to change Mayi and Markkhande and this will take time. You can't change the believes of a human being, which he/she cared for s=years, in few days or weeks. And in the house, only Mayi, Markhande and maybe Tribhuvan feel this way about honor killing (in Surbhi's family only her father and brother), but most members don't think, honor killing is a must 😉 But they don't have the guts, to speak up

Don't know Ragini and her character, but have to agree about the 'mahaan' thing with you. Can't stand it either, but not every character can be brave and selfconfident from the beginning, especially someone like Surbhi, who was raised like that. She'll change, but slowly with time 😆

Well, I think we saw now, that you and me have different opinion abobut this theme, Kezia 😆 I'll just drop it here, yaar 😳

The reason I am saying this is, they could have tried to bring a positive change in Abhay-Surbhi family by now. But instead, they keep on showing negativity. I understand that to bring about something positive, negative has to be shown first. But haven't we seen that already ? & I also know that it will take a lot of time till Mai, etc would start to change. & trust me, Ranvijay will change only after 3 yrs, hahaha !

Till then we, at least I cannot bear with the negativity. It will take a lot of time. If you ask me, one negative character is bearable at time..but in this serial, almost everybody is negative. That is where the whole disgusting factor comes.

True, I agree that not everybody can be strong right from the start, but please tell me, how many characters on Indian television show are really strong ? 😆

Almost none, lol..

So I am just saying the Surbhi is no different. That's all, hehehe..😆

Parul's entry increased its Chaskameter,was in Top 10 and 2 and if the content is bad,an actor couldn't do anything.

The show itself was too negative from the very first promo.DOn't know as to what extent these honour killings happen and how much these creators fabricate,but as Kez said its too heavy as of now!

agree wid u,d show is still having alotssss of weak points.crtvs need 2 improve dem,PARUL is doing her best..............trp problem is only bcz of crtvs

True, Ranvijay will need more than 3 years to change 🤣 When he bhaved all nice towards Ratna, it was kinda scaring 🤣

I agree, most of the women in Indian TV are shown so weak etc... It's annoying 😒 I wonder, why they do that? In today, women are strong and mostly selfconfident 👍🏼 Though, seeing Surbhi's father and brother, I can imagine how she was raised and therefore it's no wonder, how her character is. In other serials, the woman is shown weak, coz she wants to be the perfect bahu 🤣

dis serial becums excellent bcz of parul's entry ...but cn't be a hit bcz of crtvs.parul cn't do evrything,she cn't change d story.....n all stupid tracks introduced by dese crtvs .pARUL is d bestest actress but d director is not utilizing her in a right way.

anyways wish 2 see some improvement ..................BEST OF LUCk 2 PARUL
