After a stressful day….with her boss Pammi……Nivi returned home……n was by the gate….when she finds Vandana coming out of a car………….she runs to her n says…….Vandana chachi….when did u guys come….i had no idea that u guys arrived……otherwise I wud have come earlier.
Vandana smiles at Nivi…..she was always fond of her……she caressed her face n says…….Arre Nivi……how are u……..its been such a long time that I've seen u…..u've grown up to be a very pretty girl………we came yesterday……..the men had some major bizness problem so we all flew home with them…….Bauji n Sid are looking at it…….n Viren wanted to know about our bizness too.
Nivi jumped on Viren's name……..she asked again……Did Viren come too ??
Vandana smiles as she knew how Nivi n Viren were when they were kids…….so she says…….oh ho Nivi……don't worry……Viren had grown up too…….he'll not say anything to u……..u guys were kids n he used to trouble u……..but I don't think…..he is the same.
Nivi smiles embarrassingly…….n was about to say something when Vandana says…….why don't u come in with me……come meet everybody.
Nivi was hesitant….then Vandana understood……n so she says………don't worry……I'll come myself to invite all of u guys to our home.
Nivi says……no no Vandana chachi……..u guys came yesterday…….n it'll be too hectic for u……..n when u think of it…..it shud be us who shud invite u guys.
Vandana says…..no Nivi …….its not hectic……but it'll be really nice if we sit all together…….Nivi says ok……n they both go back inside their homes…….Vandana goes to DS and YD n informs them about the Sharmas n YD says….ohh yeah….we didn't meet them since we came here……I wonder how everyone is doing over there.
Then DS says……why don't we visit them today ??.........At that Vandana says…….yeah why don't we go over there n invite them for tomorrow's dinner ??
DS n YD seemed happy with Vandana's idea n all 3 smiled……….right then Chanchal n Jawaher join thm n Vandana shares their plan…….but Chanchal n Jawaher don't seem to have liked the idea n they say……why shud we go??......dont they know that we are here….then why cant they come to meet us here…..we came just yesterday….n then inviting them for dinner wud be too much work for the ladies at home.
DS n YD look at each other n YD says…….u don't have to do anything Jawaher…..n if u want ur wife to not take part in the preparations then its her wish too……..if she wants to be a family or just attend the gathering like a guest.
Jawaher was about to say something…..but Chanchal holds his hand n makes him quiet…….n both leave from there……..DS says……..Yashodhara…..i cant believe he is our son……..where did he get all this hatred for Sharmas………..i don't understand what they did to him……..i've been watching this change since he was a young man……..n its been 22 years n he is still the same.
YD shakes her head in disappointment……unable to answer his question…….n right then Vandana to change their moods says……ok so let us all get ready to go to their house to invite them.
Sharma House
Naintara gets happy when she sees them n hugs YD so lovingly……..she says…….its been such a long time Yashodhara…..i thought u guys wud never return n we wud never meet u…….but now I'm so happy seeing u guys here…..near me.
DS says……bhabhi…..how can u think that we wud forget this place….where we had spent so much time……n had so many happy moments………we've returned to experience many more of these happy moments.
Right then Nivi comes n they say….....ohh is this Nivi….she had grown so much……I saw her when she was young.
Nivi takes their blessing n YD says……naintara we want you all to come to our home tomorrow for dinner……well just dinner is not the reason….but the real reason is to sit n chat with all of u…….it'll be so refreshing.
Naintara agrees n they all talk for a while before the Soods leave for their house.
Sood Mansion
Next evening Sid n Viren come home early as requested by Vandana n YD…….n they go upstairs to change……n Viren gets a call from his friend in USA so he gets bz talking on the phone….n forgets about the time………Its when he realizes that a girl was standing right behind him…….he turns n the girl smiles…….Viren for a moment was shocked as to how in the world did this girl just barge into his room…….n so he asks…….ahh…….excuse me……who are u ??
The girl hits his arm….n says……silly its me Divya……..ohh god…..looks like all of u forgot us.
Viren rubs his arm where she hit him….n says…….well…..how can one guess someone when the last time they met was…….aaahhhh…..let me guess………13 years ago……u freak.
Divya makes a face n Viren says……..i'm just kidding yaar……..at that Divya smiles n Viren hugs her saying……….ohh Divya…..i missed u so much…….i missed all the childhood fun we used to have……u, me, Sid, Nivi……….by the way where is Nivi…….I have forgotten how she looked completely.
Divya answers in her brattish tone……..well…..she is the same…..like u say……the same not-so-pretty girl.
Viren was taken aback by divya's tone……he was confused that Divya was talking about Nivi……her own cousin…….but he shrugged of the thought n asked again……..ok…..so where is she??.......can u show me ??
Divya takes him to the corridor n shows Nivi walking in the house….down from the front door…….since Viren was standing upstirs….he cud see her feet first…..then her salwar-kameez………n then finally her face……..n when he saw her…….he kept looking……..it was not that he was looking at her coz she was pretty…….but it was her simple appearance that had kept his attention…….there was this smile on her face……that held his eyes on it……..it was her overall innocent look that bowled him over……..he cudnt take his eyes off her………n then when Divya hits him again…..he realizes that he was almost day-dreaming.
Viren turns to Divya n asks…….why is she coming alone??.....why did u come alone??.......where is everybody….i thought dadaji invited everyone.
Divya says……yeah he invited everyone…..n everyone came…….its only Nivi coming now……coz she just came from work……so we asked her to come here directly………n everyone else is sitting in ur dadaji's room.
Viren listens to Divya…..n gets an idea of a prank……he holds divya's arms n says……..hey…..dont come downstairs until I tell u…….just hide somewhere here……..Divya was about to ask something but he shushes her off saying……just do as I say…….she nods n he leaves.
Viren was coming downstairs towards Nivi…….n as he was coming closer……he found her more attractive……he made a face at his thoughts….n went back to his mischievious mood…….n ran towards her n said…….hey hey hey……..who r u??.......n where do u think u r going??
Nivi tried to say something but he continued……..oh u must have been trespassing this place……I don't know for how long……but today u r caught……..hmmm……wait I'll call………
He didn't finish yet but Nivi held his hand n he stopped talking……..she didn't notice this change…….but she said……..hey wait a minute please……I'm not trespassing……I'm here coz I was invited.
Viren says in a sarcastic tone……Invited??..........r u sure??........coz I think no body here know u……well do u know anyone here ??
Nivi says in one breath……yeah I know dadaji…..dadima…..vandana chachi…….chanchal chachi……jawahar chacha…….sid…..and……
She pauses n then Viren asks…..and ??.....and who ??
Nivi……makes a thinking expression…….n says……….hmmm……and…..and no one else……but can u call any one of them…..please.
Viren grins…….he was shocked that first of all she didnt recognize him……..n then on the top of that…..she didn't take his name……..Viren gets back in his naughty mood n says……..See I knew u wont change…….u r the same…….darpok n bhulakkad……..see……..u didn't even take my name.
Nivi holds her breath as soon as she realizes its Viren…….she was standing so close to Viren……the same Viren she had crush on since her childhood……..it was her liking that made her jealous when he played with Divya a lot…….n so she decided never to listen to him…………but now with time her jealousy was gone but not her liking…….she still had crush on Viren……..n watching him standing right in front of her….made her heartbeat n her breathing faster……..she was just staring at him…..she didn't even blink a sec…….coz she cudnt take her eyes off him…….n when Viren snapped his fingers in front of her……she came out of her dreams…….n ran away……..leaving Viren all surprised…….by this kind of reaction.
