If he trusted them right off the bat, it would be so un-Dutta like! He is very, very doubtful about strangers, even those who want to help, na? Case in point, Jagtap...

Also, I'd rather that he doubts and intimidates these Chacha/Chanda types than get chummy with them...maybe later he will calm down and thank them...but for now, his reaction is more than perfect!
